I had an oil and oil filter change and the starter replaced on my 2001 Ford Taurus. Jose did an outstanding job on both. In the Taurus, changing the oil filter can be very messy; the residual oil in the filter often spills down the engine block, starter motor, and oil pan. Most shops simply leave the mess and allow the engine heat to burn off the spilled oil. Because the engine block was clean as a whistle, Jose apparently cleaned up the oil--which professional mechanics do as a matter of habit. He also installed the starter according to the starter motor's instructions. How do I know this? Because I read the instructions; Jose clearly did the same as there was a small electrical connection to the starter solenoid that had to be crimped. Most mechanics would have missed this very small detail. Jose takes pride in his work; other shops would have missed the small details of an oil spill and solenoid connection. I will definitely be back to this shop.

I took my Rav4 to the Gulf gas station on route 1 last Friday for an oil change. I looked in front of my car today with all the rain & could see oil all over the parking lot. I called these wonderful guys (after the gulf guys treated me very bad) They said to being my car ASAP. After waiting about 15 minutes they put my car on the lift and found the drain plug leaking. With great care to make sure they did not damage the plug, they tighten it. Never said a bad word about Gulf and did not even want to charge me. I have been around mechanics my whole life, these guys are the real deal . I always went to the Gulf because its so close to my work. I will walk the extra mile to work for these guys . Thank you for looking out for me today !!! I will be back again !!!

Used to have great prices. Not anymore. Quoted $360 just for labor to replace 4 spark plugs on a 4 cylinder SUV, plus replace the air filter and cabin filter. Said the work would take one hour. When I pointed out this worked out to $360/hour, the technician immediately said "ok then, it will take 2 hours". Uuhh... not helping. I'm sorry but $360/hour (or even $180/hr) for routine car maintenance labor is a bit much. Again, this was just the LABOR portion of the quote. So I only agreed to have the spark plugs replaced. Nothing else. They quoted over $360, including parts. I knew I was getting ripped off but didn't have time to make other arrangements. When I picked the car up, they claimed it had taken 2.5 hours to replace the four spark plugs. Did some research --- sorry that is well beyond the norm for a simple job of just replacing four spark plugs. Will not use them again. Be warned.

They got me in fast and replaced a dying alternador with a rebuilt one I brought with me. (Bring your own parts, save yourself some hassle) I was quoted an extremely fair price and work was completed in the time frame they told me.
