I have a Lexus LC 500. I was sideswiped by a delivery truck causing some damage to my left, front fender. I googled the best auto body shops in the Alexandria, Virginia area. A&H Auto Mechanic Shop (A&H) came up on my search. At A&H, Zack and company are very friendly, customer service oriented, and hell bent on customer satisfaction. They said my car would take three days, and that is what it took to complete the work. I am very pleased with the body work they did on my car. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The only thing I would say is their shop is hidden in the back off the street. Don’t give up looking for them because they do nice auto body work. As it turns out, they are under contract with my insurance company, which I did not know when I went for an estimate. That should tell you something about the quality of the work at A&H.

A&H Auto Repair did a fantastic job helping me recover when the tires were stolen off my brand-new Toyota. Zach in particular was able to get my car successfully towed from the 3rd floor of a parking garage (several towing companies had declined before Zach stepped in). A&H Auto Repair is amazing. Their work is top notch. It is very hard to find an auto repair shop that is honest, forthcoming, tells you like it is, stands by their work, and takes incredible pride in the service they provide. In my particular situation, they went out of their way to work with circumstances that were very difficult to manage and control. They showed immense flexibility and a willingness to provide top-notch service. They were incredibly patient, and, as long as their kindness and patience was reciprocated in kind, they were willing to go the extra mile to try and make things as easy as possible. If you are looking for automotive repair, I highly recommend them. I am extremely grateful for the excellent service they provided, especially with the circumstances I was stuck in. Coincidentally I found this hidden gem after driving up and getting on the spot bumper repair from their body shop next door. I needed shocks and struts and decided to use them since I was very happy with the work they did on my bumper. The shop is in an industrial park among other auto repair shops and may be a little hard to find. However, it would be very difficult to get better auto repair service from another place.. AJ manages the auto repair shop. He is very professional and reasonable. He got my car finished before the estimated time of completion. Able was one of two mechanics who worked on my car. Their work is excellent and their prices are very reasonable. They did not try to take advantage of me as a woman like some shops, which might tell you that you need services that are not needed. They are honest mechanics. I highly recommend A&H Auto Repair.

I took my car to get a drive shaft and control arms installed. I had taken it to the dealership and the told me everything that needed to be repaired. The shop call me the next day and told me the abs light was on after the install and then they told me I needed a new anti-lock tone ring and something was wrong with my brake. I refused the additional repair and told them I will come to pick up my car. When I picked up my car, the collision and maintenance lights was on too. They failed to tell me this over the phone. I had to take my car back to the dealership get it repaired after they worked on my car. This shop used to be a reliable place to take your car for repair but has turned into a money grab. This is not a fake post. Kept sending me texts, asking me did the dearlership fix my car. They spelled my name wrong on the receipt. (Venesthaisia)

This is the best repair shop. I cant say enough Zack and AJ. They went over and above to get our car fixed. We broke down 8 hours from home with power steering trouble. They took my car right in and had to get a part that was 2 hours away. They gave us a loaner and told us to go out for a few hours. On our way back I was informed they received the wrong part and they couldn't locate one anywhere. I was beside myself. We had 3 hours to our destination and I had no car. Zack told us to rent a car and finish our trip and let them worry the car. He even got us an Uber to go get a rental. Dont know how they did it but they got the part. We drove back to the shop and in a short time we were on the road home. Thank you AJ and Zack for everything you did for us.

It is a family business that quotes a real price and sticks to it. The service and communication has always been excellent and the staff members are kind and considerate. This is hands down the best mechanic shop in the DMV area. I brought my truck in with a misfire, leak, and shaking fearing the worst with engine work all to be told the problem wasn’t as big as I thought and they fixed it and she’s running beautifully again. They were very honest with me unlike most mechanics who will do what they can to make the extra buck off you. Will recommend them every single time.

They gave me a very accurate estimate, explained the whole process to me, and even helped me to save some money. As a single woman of 63, looking for an HONEST MECHANIC REPAIR SHOP has been such a challenge for me in the Alexandria area. I am delighted to share that I have FINALLY FOUND IT! From the first phone call, Tanya was terrific! Very professional and accommodating from the start to the end!!! The waiting area was spotless and had availed several opportunities that welcomed how to spend time while I waited! Robert, the mechanic that replaced the transmission from my 2007 Toyota Highlander was ver knowledge as ble and presented me with all options for repair for me to decide on. I simply cannot express enough gratitude to this HONEST BUSINESS! Oh, and the pricing was incredibly affordable, unlike other shops in the area!
