This shop guarantees their work. I had a state inspection completed last year and new brakes installed. They did a great job on the service however a technician broke my center console, which kept it from closing properly. I waited 9 months to return for them to do an oil change, fix the console and have wheel bearing replaced. They did a great job however they do use expensive parts which they offer warranty. Duke auto also gave me a ride home when I dropped it off and they picked me up when it was ready. Pretty nice.

My experience with this facility was extremely disappointing and involved serious professional errors and unauthorized actions. Here are the facts: 1. Inspection and False Assurance At check-in, their Inspection confirmed my engine oil was in good condition. I clearly informed the staff that the vehicle was being prepared for a 5,000-mile cross-country trip. Despite this, they assured me the car was “all set” for the journey. 2. Unauthorized Part Replacement During the service, my factory drain plug was replaced with a cheap aftermarket part without my consent. 3. Critical Technical Mistakes The drain plug was later found leaking and stripped, causing mechanical damage. Additionally, they underfilled the engine oil by nearly 30% . This created a severe risk of oil starvation and engine failure during my trip. The service took 7 hours instead of the promised 2–3, and the negligence put my vehicle at serious risk. Completely unprofessional. I strongly do NOT recommend this shop. 4. They said I need to get a new brake and interestingly when I had the inspection at another store 2 months before they didn’t say the brake was worn out. And a lot of comments said they let you change / repair stuff you don’t actually need to. —————— The claim that your system shows no record of the 5,000‑mile trip disclosure does not negate the fact that I informed the front desk at the time of service. If that information was not correctly entered into your records, that is a failure of your internal processes, not a failure of disclosure on my part. Your continued insistence that I must travel in person to your facility to review footage despite your full knowledge that I am located 3,000 miles away constitutes an unreasonable and intentional barrier to accessing evidence relevant to this dispute.

I came in here a while back with a really tricky emissions repair problem. The car would not pass inspection for some reason. The car ran smoothly, had decent mileage, had acceleration, had no smoke, had no noises, and had no leaks. It didn't look outwardly like anything was wrong. It turned out the emissions control computer was bad. I have a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with about 200,000 miles. This part was no longer available from the dealer. The mechanic found an emissions control computer on Ebay from a seller who specializes in them, and got the van running to manufacturer's specifications. Excellent work and very resourceful. Emissions controls are consistently the hardest repairs, so if they can fix that, they can probably fix anything. I don't remember the cost breakdown, but the prices for parts and labor were very reasonable. Keep up the good work.

Had a superb team at Duke Auto inspect and do my Rav-4 -- an oldie. From the exceptional courtesy and professional care of Lamar who checked me in and out and kept me constantly updated on the car's status; to the manager, Julio, who was personally and professionally exceptionally thoughtful on answering a concern I had on the right way to approach a car problem they discovered was causing a long-term issue several other shops could not find; and to Darwin, the one-of-a-kind leader and skillful Master Technician, who was the key to finding and discovering the source of the problem and advising on how best I might think about having it resolved -- and then wanted to test drive it with me to ensure I was satisfied -- I cannot speak highly enough of this car repair shop and its team and leadership. How they approach the skilled workmanship and leadership of their team reminds me of how I saw it best done in the U.S. Navy. They are exceptional!

Dukes is the best!!!! Took my car in for oil change, wiper change, front head light replacement, and inspection. Came at 8AM and they had my car done 11:30 even offered me a ride home til it was done! Best auto repair and quoted me to replace all my tires for all seasons 780! I've been going to Duke Auto Repair since I moved to the area a few years back. I feel like they are an honest shop, so I keep doing business with them. I spent a few hours in their waiting room over the last couple days, and I had the pleasure of observing how they treat customers. I feel obligated to acknowledge excellent service when I experience it. Lamar provided not just me, but everyone who walked through the front door (or called in), with a "fine dining" level of service. He gives his all to his customers, and we feel it.
