These guys saved me hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on needless repairs. Dropped my car off on Saturday thinking I’d have to replace my shocks along with the ignition coils and spark plugs and I’d have to wait at least a week for them to order the parts. Got a call today from the team letting me know that the clicking noise was just due to the fender liner not being installed properly. In addition to fixing this for me they replaced all of the plugs and coils by the time I got off work on Tuesday. They’re quick, do great work and at a fraction of the cost of dealerships or other mechanics who would’ve charged me an arm and a leg for work I didn’t really need done. German Auto Repair will definitely see me again.

I can't say enough positive things about Haydar, who's now our go-to service option for both of our cars. The convenience of having a pro come to your home is appealing enough, but the fact that Haydar is responsive, capable, and never looking to sell you more than you need is really impossible to beat. I found him on Yelp after getting an obscene $5k quote for service/repairs from the local BMW dealership. He diagnosed and addressed the problem for a fraction of that price, and opted to take the work step by step to make sure we weren't "throwing parts/money at the problem" to see what worked. He even followed up afterward just to make sure his work solved the issue (it did). We've had him do repairs and basic maintenance (oil changes, new brakes, etc), and he seems to be able to handle the vast majority of the service and repair work anyone would need done. He's a former dealer tech, and definitely seems to know his way around Audis and BMWs (and probably plenty of other makes too). Also, he's an impossibly nice guy. If you're on the fence about reaching out to him, just do it. It'll absolutely take the pain out of the standard car service process.

I just spoke to Haydar and was impressed. The dealership wants to do an intake cleaning on the car (clean out the carbon). I asked him his thoughts and he asked how the car runs, starts up, etc. Based on the car running well, he said it's good and doesn't really need it. I am taking the car to him this week for a look-over, oil change, etc., and I am also taking my son's car.

Great service. Came out to my home, was able to diagnose the issue with my car, and then was able to return back to my home and complete the repair after ordering the necessary parts. All done for what I consider to be a reasonable price. Considering that I did not have to take it to a shop and be without my car for who knows how long, I am extremely happy. Will use again.

Third or fourth time using Haydar on our cars. This time it was 75K general maintenance schedule (brake flush, radiator flush, fuel filter, transmission clean & fluid replaced) on our Cadillac CTS V6 - which he did promptly and professionally at our house in the driveway. He's friendly and informed, knowledgeable and careful about what he does. Car drives top notch now. And I mean, top notch, as he took it for a test drive and made sure everything was 100% proper. Haydar has been my mechanic for almost two years now and he has always been available when needed. He is quick to respond and has always made time to either come to where I am or find time to fit me in short-notice at his shop. He obviously loves what he does because he wants you to understand what’s wrong with your vehicle and usually provides a couple of different options for you to decide. I greatly appreciate this because not everything wrong needs to be fixed right away. His pricing is VERY fair which is also appreciated. I’ve had many mechanics in my life but Haydar is by far the best and unless he gets too busy for me, he will remain my mechanic for the foreseeable future. An excellent technician.

Haydar is an excellent one-man German mechanic with a van. Very fine work on my BMW 335 - really knows what he is doing, doesn't recommend unnecessary work, on time, good communicator, reasonable prices (much lower than dealer), pleasant, professional guy. The fact he comes to your house/work is icing on cake. He even made me another key for half the price the BMW dealer wanted. Highly recommend.

I finally found a mechanic I can truly trust. I called German Auto Repair bc my BMW 325i was running rough. I thought it was my oxygen sensor or my idle control valve. Haymar showed up early for my 10 am appointment listened to the engine and said it sounded like a misfire. He did the computer diagnostics and it was a misfire on number 2 and number 5. He did some trouble shooting, did a temporary fix, and ordered new coils and spark plugs. Returned today to install and the car is running smooth again. He absolutely knows what he is doing and I will call him again in the future. A great job I could not be happier. Thank you my brother. Rich M.
