Sidi repinned a fender liner on my car and charged me $240 for the service. He did not purchase a new part or install a new part. He repositioned the current fender liner with pins and took off a couple of pieces of that current fender liner that had become frayed. And for that, I paid $240. I did not feel like arguing with Sidi about the price after experiencing his lack luster communication skills. I was completely gauged and wish I would have never called him in the first place. Buyer beware.

The mechanic who attended to me from this company was named Mohamed. I am seeing alot of positive reviews for Mr Sidi and it is a real shame that there is someone like Mohammed on the team to tarnish Sidi's good reputation. My car had a fault and i called on the services of this company and Mr Mohammed showed up. He diagnosed the car, worked on the issue and left. But, even after he left the issue still persisted. I called and told him that it seemed there was no difference even after he fixed it and he said to give it some time. After a couple days, I called him that the issue was still there and so he agreed to come back (keep in mind I would have to pay another consultancy fee every time he comes, I think is about 175$). He came back and looked at the car again and said there was might be something wrong with the engine. He said we could try replacing a part and he would order the part, then comeback and see if that works (again, i have to pay another 175$ when he comes back, this is just for him to show up, not including labor and parts). He came back later in the week, replaces the part and gives me the horrible news that it did not work and my car's engine was bad. He then shows me the cost of a new engine online (ranging in the 6000s) and offers to buy my car, to get it off my hands. He offers me 2,000$ for my car, a 15,000$ car! I politely refuse, pay him and begin to consider my options. A couple days later I decide to get a second opinion. I go to a mechanic shop and they fix the issue easily and my car is functioning perfectly again. I dont know if Mohammed was just inept, negligent or fraudulent. But, I would not risk hiring their services ever again

I was having an issue with my transmission and thought I had accidentally put the wrong type of fuel in. Called his business and he showed up quickly. He told me right away that it wasn’t that, and it was a specific problem with my gear. I was out of state from NC buying a car, and had no tags so he went BACK to his house, printed them off for us and drove back for no charge. He stayed with us probably 3 hours and only charged his fee for travel. I can’t thank this man enough, he is honest and cares about cars. 5+ stars!

Sidi goes above and beyond! My engine overheated just as I was starting my 5 hour drive home from Alexandria, and because it was a Sunday, I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get any help from a mechanic until the next morning. However, Sidi arrived at my location within about 10 minutes of my initial phone call. He quickly assessed the issue with my engine (a coolant leak) and charged a very fair price for the repair, which he completed in the cold and rain! In addition to ensuring my car was safe to drive home that day, he let me know about some longer-term fixes and replacements I should consider when I arrived home. And he also texted me the next day to make sure I'd gotten home safely! I'm so grateful for all his help and would recommend this service to anyone.

I'll say this, he is good at his job and he tries his best to be punctual, but these are the reasons I wouldn't give this business a 5 star - there are hidden clauses that I think he makes up as he goes because he said he is an independent contractor and only discloses them when you try challenging him. - the parts he purchases has no warranty and he doesn't tell you this until the job is already done. - his parts are 300% above market value (at least in my case and based on my comparism online). So if possible ask what you need and purchase on your own. After the explanation he tried to give and threatening to get my car towed and charging me more if I asked more questions "being difficult" as he called it, I gave up. I was miles away from home, been driving 10 hours already and had about 3 more hours to go, so my total came up to about $700 for a duralast belt tensioner. In summary, I'm happy he was able to fix my car but his prices are scary and I wish I had taken more time to ask more questions and do more research before the job began.

I called him for a diagnostic paid 175 just for him to tell me he did not know why my car did not start and told me it could be different things and he said he already had lost time and he needed to make money mind you he broke a piece that goes connected to my battery and the parts he took off he did not place them back I will not be calling him you better off going to a shop for that price

I had given up hope that anyone would be able to help after calling multiple locks smiths and mobile mechanics ON A SUNDAY until this mobile mechanic came to my rescue. Nobody was sure what I was even talking about when explaining what car trouble I was having but when I called here he was confident that he would be able to replace my push to start button that had fallen into the dash and if not today guaranteed me he would come back with the extra supplies that may be needed. I am so glad I discovered Mr. Sidi's Mobile Mechanic business. My vehicle unexpectedly died, so I had it towed to the nearest Nissan service center. They kept my car for two days but were unable to determine the issue. On the third day, they finally diagnosed the problem but still couldn't get my car to start. They provided me with an estimate of $6,000 for repairs, which my warranty wouldn't cover. Frustrated, I had my vehicle towed back home to look for a better solution. After doing a Google search, I found Mr. Sidi’s Mobile Mechanic business and decided to call him for assistance. After explaining my situation, he came to my house to inspect the vehicle. He shared his thoughts on what might be causing the problem and started working on the car. In less than an hour and a half, he was able to bring my vehicle back to life. My s-class is buried in the bottom level of an underground parking garage in Arlington, VA. Woke up to a dead battery and had Sidi out by the afternoon to assist. Sidi was professional and up front about all costs. Despite what some of the other reviews here are saying - which almost scared me off - Sidi was very clear about how he was sourcing his materials, his costs, and what he's passing on to the customer. He even went the extra mile to troubleshoot given limited documentation exists for such models. He got everything working in short order and I also felt his pricing was better than what most others in the area quoted. Absolute top tier mechanic!
