I’ve been using Russell’s for several years now and they are by far the best auto shop I have come across. As a young woman, finding reliable mechanics is a near-impossible task and this shop has been phenomenal in my experience. They confirm all work before proceeding, don’t try and overcharge or take advantage, and are always polite and easy to communicate with (AKA they actually talk to me like a person). I took my car in for a general check-up and list of potential repairs it may need. They provided the list, did not attempt any repairs without permission, told me exactly what to look out for to know when each part would need repairs, AND weather they thought each repair was worth it (my car is not the newest or the nicest). Overall 10/10 experience every single visit. I highly recommend this shop, especially for women looking for a reliable mechanic.

I have taken every vehicle I have owned to Russell’s for 20+ years, and there is a plethora of reasons why. Not only for their experienced and skillful work, but also their customer service and care to every individual, which has always been tip top! And how can I not mention their reasonable prices that are true for the hardworking, everyday person. I called Russell’s while on the road describing the issue with my vehicle, and they told me to turn around and head straight to them. My car was returned in less than an hour in outstanding condition and I was on my way with the rest of my day. I cannot speak highly enough about what this business has meant to me, my family, and the community. I will NEVER take my transportation anywhere else! They truly are the best for Lafayette in Lafayette.

Finally a Good Honest Mechanic. Why can't more Mechanics be like this place. I was so tired of every place i went being up sold paying for things that didn't need fixed. RUSSELL AUTO SERVICE does not do any of those things. The owner is awesome. He just does a good job, only fixes what needs to be fixed and does the work at a fair price. If your tired of being ripped off buy shady mechanics then bring your car here. He'll do an honest job at a fair price. I live an hour away from him but it's worth the drive to have a great honest mechanic work on my vehicle. I'll never go anywhere else. He has my business for life. The world needs more people like him. If you want to get work done on your car being your car here. It's worth it to know your getting the truth about what work needs done on your car. 5 stars is not enough He deserves 10 stars for being a good mechanic that treats you fairly and doesn't try to take advantage of you. Awesome experience. The Best mechanic I've been to in Colorado. Bring your car here. You'll get great service at a honest price. And piece of mind knowing your not being ripped off.

These guys are a fantastic local shop. I'm fairly handy in the garage, but anything I don't want to (or can't) bother with, I'll take to them. They've serviced mine and my wife's SUVs, and every time they have done a thorough inspection with excellent communication from Rob, fair pricing, and solid work. Definitely a group of honest guys that I'm happy to go back to with my out-of-warranty services.

I waited for over two weeks to get an appointment just to have them check my car to see what services I needed. Morning of the appointment I drop off my car and get a call 30 min later that they have to charge me $160 to check my car!! Never was this mentioned when I made the original appointment. The guy I spoke to said okay, we will get it taken care of anyway, knowing they hadn’t said anything. Another 30 min later and they said no, can’t do it and I have to pay. I rearranged my whole morning to take my car in and they are literally just trying to rip me off. What a poor business decision. This was potentially a $1500-$2000 service and they lost it because of the $160 they were trying to get off me. Not good people - just the idea that they would do this speaks to their character and values as a business. DO NOT GO!

I started going to Russell Automotive a few years ago when I stopped in to get a 2nd opinion on something and they saved me $1,000s of dollars. I've been going there ever since. Great and honest service, excellent communication and letting you know what's going on and costs, friendly, and very fairly priced. They're reliable and trustworthy. The whole team at Russell's is wonderful (Rob, Larry -owner-, and all the mechanics). I would never take my care any where else.

TL;DR: Outstanding service, excellent communication, and fair pricing. Highly recommend Russell’s to anyone—family, friends, and fellow Veterans. My father recommended Russell’s, and I’m glad he did. As someone from out of state, I needed a shop I could trust for a road safety check and to investigate an exhaust leak. I dropped off my car the night before, and the entire team at Russell’s truly impressed me. From start to finish, they were kind, courteous, and professional—walking me through their findings, answering every question, and making sure I understood exactly what my car needed. They quickly diagnosed and repaired several major items: the water pump, exhaust manifold, control arms, and completed an oil change. Even with the amount of work, Russell’s had my car ready much sooner than I expected. The pricing was very fair, and the communication was clear and straightforward at every step. The numerous positive reviews on this shop don’t lie, these folks that work for this shop are fantastic. I’m not normally the type that takes my vehicles to a shop unless I have to but I had some leaks on my jeep that needed some attention and the folks over at Russell’s got me in and out within a couple of days, was extremely reasonable on labor and went above and far beyond what I expected to get me and my jeep taken care of! I will be bringing my jeep back to Russell’s the next time I need some work done and have already recommended a friend to them to get some work done on his jeep as well. Ive been bringing my car to them for 3 years and they always fix it at a great price. They never try tk up charge me. If you were like me and tired of other mechanics taking advantage of you by always over charging you and pretending to fix things that didnt need fixed. Then come here, they are honest guys who just do the work you need done at a fair price. In today's world its almost impossible to find an honest business anymore. But these guys are. And its nice to know that your getting honest help with your vehicle. Im not rich I live paycheck to paycheck and its nice to finally find an honest mechanic. 5 stars is not enough they deserve 10 stars. Bring your car here they will fix it the right way at a fair price. You wont ever take your car anywhere else after coming here I promise. We began using Russell Auto Service when we first moved up to the north side of Denver. This is now the only auto shop that I trust my cars with. They are honest and perform quality work. We had to bring one of our cars into a different shop at one point, and we had a very questionable experience there. Afterwards, we brought it back in to Russell's for a second opinion, and I did not question anything at all about what they told me. We will continue using this shop for all of our future needs
