Easily the worst auto-service experience I have ever had. I set up an appointment for a drop-and-go appointment and dropped my car off at 7:06am (prior to the required 9:30am drop off by-when) using the key box and texting the phone number that was written on the box. I attempted contacting the office several times throughout the day via text message, phone calls with the office, and phone calls with Safelite's Customer Care line. I was unable to get a hold of anyone to determine the status of my vehicle. Eventually, at 4:33pm I received text message communication that my vehicle "should" be ready at 5:30pm. The email confirmation for the service stated it would be ready by end of day (around 4pm-5pm). The office closes at 5pm. When I arrived at Safelite, the desk staff did not express any concern or apologize for the delay in service and communication. My vehicle was ready for pickup shortly after 5:30pm and appeared to be in working order. The technician did not inspect the vehicle with me. I cannot express enough that this was an incredibly distressing and dissatisfying experience. I will not be returning to this location for any future services.

I scheduled an appointment online and got a quote. After I dropped off the vehicle, they called me and let me know they didn't have the part but they could order it and do the service two days later. Good thing they called me because I got a text letting me know the price was double than what I was quoted so I could call back and cancel. I can't imagine if they had gone through with the service and tried to get me to pay over $1000 just for windshield replacement. Look elsewhere.

Had glass replaced by Safelite in Maryland. Didn’t get charged for recalibration. Made an appointment to replace glass on a different vehicle at this location… they wanted to charge $750 for recalibration. They can charge what they want, but I’ll take my vehicle to a provider that isn’t going to try to price gouge me. I’ve included proof that other Safelite locations don’t price gouge.

Filed a claim with my insurance company to get my power sliding back glass replaced on my truck. They estimated it would take 2.5 hours and it ended up taking twice that time as the tech admitted he had never worked on a power sliding glass rear window and had to watch YouTube videos. They also burnt up the regulator because he kinked the cable. They stated the manager would be in touch and never received any call or emails regarding the replacement of the regulator. Very disappointed in the service this facility provided and the knowledge of the technician after damaging my vehicle. Safelite should train their techs and or at least have someone knowledgeable on how to repair a power sliding glass.

Not sure why any insurance company uses this place. Had an appointment scheduled Monday got a call right before I am about to drop it off saying the windshield came in damaged so they would not be able to service vehicle. Ok cool things happen. So then a lady calls me to reschedule and I ask her how long will it take and she says 2-3 hours. I say ok I’ll bring it and come back. Not one thing was mentioned about it no longer being an appointment. Go to drop it off and they are like it won’t be done till after 4 because I don’t have an appointment! WHAT? The older lady at the front desk was like I didn’t do it and you are yelling it me. Like NO I’m not yelling but I am very frustrated that you are basically telling me now I am going to need to reschedule for a third time, since I have children in school who obviously need to be picked up before four. Lack of clear communication and HORRENDOUS customer service at this location. DO BETTER.

TLDR: My technician Ethan never showed up to my appointment, however, he still filed a claim with my insurance company. I contacted the Safelite via phone and email and received no response or recourse. I ultimately had to drive 72 miles to another Safelite location to have my windshield repaired. The technician ultimately committed fraud. I truly hope this review leads to change. Full Story: My tech, Ethan, was scheduled between 8 am -12 pm. He called at 12:15 and advised he was on his way and would call again when he arrived. At about 12:50 I noticed a Safelite technician across the street, a few houses down from mine working on a Kia sedan (see grainy photo). I drive a Kia sportage, an SUV. I assumed Safelite groups repairs together based on neighborhoods and thought I was the next stop. 10 minutes later I see the technician enter his vehicle and speed past my house. I waited a few moments thinking maybe he was turning around. I then receive a notification that the repair on my car has started. A few minutes later I receive a receipt and message advising the repair is complete. Still, the technician never stopped by my home or called to say he had arrived. I called Safelite and was routed to the local office. A representative advised she would call the technician and give me a call back. This was over two weeks ago and I am still waiting on that callback. I also sent an email to customer support explaining the issue but have not received a response. I called Safelite two more times and was disconnected after explaining the situation and then was told by another rep that the technician probably couldn't repair it and there was nothing they could do. The representative asked if my car seats were red and black and I advised they were not. At this point it was clear that the tech worked on the vehicle but still Safelite provided no recourse. My insurance company had to submit a warranty revisit (even though it wasn't repaired initially) and I drove 72 miles to another location to have it repaired. The new location confirmed no repair had ever been attempted. This is just a gross case of pure incompetence and a clear dereliction of duty. I'd rather drive without a windshield than ever attempt to have it repaired at this Murfreesboro location.

I brought my car in after my windshield cracked when I filed with my insurance and confirmed my appointment Juan the store manager called me within hours to verify my appointment and even asked if I wanted to bring it in earlier if he had availability. Once I arrived I dropped it off and all the techs were very knowledgeable and took great care of my car and it looks SO much better. Once picked up they walked me through aftercare. It took about an hour and half to fix. I definitely recommend this place.

I paid for my 3rd windshield replacement with Safelite. I waited all day (12-5 my appointment slot) for them to replace my windshield only to have someone at 432 call to cancel my appointment. Yes I was totally t'd off. I told him that I wanted my money back which he replied 3-5 days. The 1st time there they messed my wipers up. I had to get their corporate to finally fix their mistake and no I was going to Lexus or Toyota to fix it. I was told by Safelite that I must've gone through a car wash. Not true. This was my last chance with Safelite.

Alex at Safelite Murfreesboro, TN was amazing. He was very thorough in explaining to me the process of my repair. He was very polite and patient with me as well. He did a great job repairing the crack that I had and did a great job adding the rain repellent. The job was quicker than I thought. Definitely recommend Alex and the safelite team to do you vehicle glass repairs.

Would leave 0 stars if possible. They are rude and not helpful. I had an appointment scheduled for 3 weeks and drive an hour to have my windshield replaced. At first he offered to let me pay and have my insurance refund me. After I complained about their poor customer service, he canceled my appointment after driving an hour. They had 3 weeks to inform me that they didn't have all the information they needed, but choose to wait until I couldn't even do what was needed to keep my appointment. Go somewhere else!

After replacing my windshield the tech left without cleaning up the glass and debris from replacing the windshield. I had to spend an hour cleaning it all up also when contacting the customer service they said the manager would call but after 4 business days still didn't hear anything. The new windshield looks good but the customer service is terrible.

Hey Safelite is great but they are also corporate so they are double the price of any local Joe. Thanks me later 2 start because you gave me knowledge on why I shouldn’t be charged.

I skeptical about this place based on the bad ratings but I had a great experience. I initially had a very small crack in my windshield but it grew to be very large. I appreciate the fact that the told me it had to be replaced instead of just trying to repair. I had to drive there twice, but the staff was very nice and kept in touch with me throughout the process. Other than this location being somewhat hard to get to, I would recommend this place.

I want to give 0 stars! I confirmed an appointment on Friday. It said the glass was ordered. Today I took off waiting ,only to get a no show! I called and they said the customer cancelled due to being undecided! That was the biggest lie!Why would I cancel when I have confirmed and you said the glass was ordered. They could have just said they didn’t have the manpower instead of making up a story inconveniencing me! I had to take off for this! From reading the comments this is a common thing! My insurance company goes through them! Had I known all this I would have never chosen them!

Wow, is all I gotta say. My insurance wanted to charge me $1000 as my deductible. So I decided to pay for it myself. When I got there, I was meant by one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met. When I sat down, the technician came by and told me that he was getting ready to work on my truck and it would take about an hour and a half. 45 minutes later, my truck is set and ready to go. The only thing that I see that’s wrong is my oil change sticker is gone, which is fine because I am going to get one in a few days. Five stars is very fitting. Thank you, Billy for the great work.

I was told if the repair to a small crack was not to my satisfaction, Safelite would apply the $190 to a replacement windshield. Not long after the work, I reported the repair resulted in no visible improvement (still the same old crack), so I wanted to move to a replacement. Then the representative shared the bad news - a windshield replacement, even with the $190 credit, would cost over a $1,000. I immediately reached out to Auto Mirror, and learned they would replace the windshield for $580. With all due respect, it felt like a scam. It would've been helpful if the technician had just told me replacing the windshield would definitely be the better route. I'm not paying over $1,000, on top of the $190 I already wasted, for a new windshield on a 2015 Subaru. Very disappointed.

The reviews are legit. I went here for a new windshield. $700. Didn't even replace the weather stripping. I have a 10 yr old car, so naturally, the weather stripping is done for.. If I'm paying $700, it better be done right. Don't go here.

I would leave a 0 if I could. These reviews are clearly accurate. I made an appointment online for a new windshield. Paid in full as well. They said the appointment would be between 8am amd 12pm. Its now 1:30pm and I have called 3 times to check where the technician is or if they will be here at all. They cannot answer anything. They don't text you, email you just nothing. So I've sat here waiting on my day off for almost 6 hours for a no show. What a joke of a company.

I made an appointment to get my windshield replaced for today (November 25th) at 10am. I got there ten minutes early as suggested. By 10am, the technician came to the lobby to greet me and explained how long the process would take. I also received text messages as I waited. This is an excellent place to take your vehicle to get window replacement. Prior to my appointment I received a call from the customer service representative to confirm my appointment. Very professional in my opinion. Thank you safelite of Murfreesboro Tennessee. I will highly recommend your services.

Safelite replaced my windshield, but the overall experience was very disappointing. The technician was unable to calibrate it at my house, so I had to schedule an appointment at the Murfreesboro location. Because I was leaving for vacation, it took a few weeks before I could get it in. Immediately after he replaced the windshield, the plastic cover over the camera and sensor assembly above my rearview mirror fell off. When I called him, he told me to bring it to my calibration appointment and they would fix it there. At the shop, they tried to glue the cover back on, but it fell off again almost immediately and is now ruined. My vehicle is left with exposed wiring and sensors. What was supposed to be convenient turned into multiple appointments, delays, and an incomplete repair. I would not recommend Safelite based on my experience.
