The team is amazing. Fair prices are honest with diagnoses. Basically this is NOT going to tell you that you need a new part or air filter every time you get an oil change. Local people helping local people. May I mention it’s a very clean shop with state of the art tools and technology. I manage a body shop and I take my personal cars here and they take care of all of our vehicles when working with insurance companies we need to choose vendors that warrantee their work and give proper diagnosis for documentation purposes in a collision repair. Bottom line these gentlemen are honest and respectable Ismial and Juan are the best, ask for them you won’t regret it!

These folks replaced distributor and starter without my permission then get bill for $1800. when picking up my vehicle asked why charge so much also why replace those parts nothing wrong with my car when drove to shop. This what owner said i got overhead and bills to pay imagine how angry was getting but try keeping my composer. So left at that after getting his explanation why they replaced those parts. So as go look at the work was done noticed loose wires in engine bay area dash, signals engine fan not working at all. Asked why are these like this guess what the owner says, "it was like that" and to top it off said he would charge $800 to fix it and that was a discount. Bra I was livid all kept running through my mind was my Lord please forgive this guy etc.. can't trust any business now days that just worries about there overhead instead of doing the right thing and fix what you broke or damaged insuring your customer that keeps you in business. My satisfaction is absolutely 💯 fail. Would let me post pictures terrible.

I give this place a 5 star rating .. They were polite and efficient at doing an oil change which another garage in mid Carmel Valley refused to do ..I was told my car was too old..a 1998 Toyota Camry (I love my my Toyota Camry )... Salinas Car Care had no problem in changing my oil... should I need any other services I'll be coming back to Salinas car Care... It's nice to have mechanics that you can trust and they were highly recommended. Thank You Salinas car Care !!!

Ismael and his crew are top notch. I own a service company and have brought a lot of trucks here for maintenance and repair. Every time they handle everything I need with the highest quality and customer service. I had a fuel pump replaced and 6 months later my check engine light came on. Took it to another mechanic because I was out of the area and they said fuel pump needed be swapped. I called Ismael he told me bring it down it’s under warranty for a year for both the part and labor! This is unheard of. He could have easily charged the labor. His honesty, integrity and overall customer service are amazing. This is what a mechanic should be like.

First time we met Ismael it was after hours and he made the time to receive our vehicle from a tow truck off the interstate. Our vehicle is a 71 International and Ismael dug right in finding parts and fixing up our truck. He even asked what "his" name was! Drum brakes, master cylinder, tie rods, king pin, transfer case, drive line and then at another visit the WHOLE front axel. This shop is incredible.
