I can’t ask for more how friendly and helpful all the staff here. I’ve been going to this shop for inquiries, suggestions and advices about cars but never had actual car repair. The owner/manager Dennis is very approachable, helpful and friendly not only that he will treat you like a family. First week of this month, I called my insurance about my hit and run of my 2012 FJ Cruiser. They set up an appointment for the adjuster and they asked me if I want to have my own body repair shop for my car. I said “yes”, and I told them I will bring my car at the Santa Clara Auto Care, as soon as they will give me all the paper works. After that, I went straight to Santa Clara Auto Care to give all the details to Dennis about what the adjuster told me about my car. Since this is my first time to get involved into insurance-body repair shop. Dennis help me a lot, because they are some damages on my car that the adjuster didn’t add on the list. I was very thankful that I choose this shop not only because they are very helpful and friendly but I trust them that they will take care of my car. August 19, 2019 when I dropped off my car. I was very confident that my car is in good hands. A week after, I got a call from Dennis that they approved some of the parts that the adjuster didn’t add in. Dennis did all the works thru my insurance about the supplements of my car. Today (August 31, 2019) my car is all done. Looking like a brand new FJ Cruiser again. I couldn’t thank enough Dennis and the crew for a job well done for my car. I highly recommend Santa Clara Auto Care for your car.

This past Saturday, I had a lucky break. The owner (John Federico) and his mechanic resolved an urgent problem with my car and refused to charge me for it. They were very kind. Not to mention very capable mechanics. I saw how they fixed my vehicle. I was on Scott Blvd when I realized my engine cover under the car was about to fall off. It was almost 4:30pm. I thought I better rush to nearest Toyota dealership but on further thought, it would be too late to get there. Hence I googled and found Santa Clara Auto Care which was minutes away. Luckily, they were open. They were there to catchup on a job. Nevertheless, they took time out to help me. I am really grateful for their kindness. The owner also has other shops in the area that specialize in Mercedes and BMWs. We chatted and I got to see his reworked antique chevrolet. I am not certain but it looks like 1969 Camaro. The owner is a real car lover. So nice to have met him! Thank you!

Went to the Santa Clara Auto Care to install the brake pedal cover, original BMW accessory. The first time, they didn’t do it right. The cover was tilted. I went back right away. They adjusted a little bit. The technician said I can come back during the day and they would fix it again if I am not satisfied. I went back several days later. Dennis said he would fix it. The result was perfect. They even used the lever to make sure it’s straight. It’s what I called an above and beyond customer service and I would recommend anyone this shop.

My family and I absolutely cannot speak highly enough of John and the whole team at Santa Clara Auto Care. My family’s treasured 2003 Mercedes SUV was rear-ended on the highway and declared “totaled” by our insurance company who insisted it was not worth fixing. However, we didn’t want to let go of it just yet and decided to ask Santa Clara Auto Care for a repair quote, “just to see.” John picked up the phone and walked us through the whole process from beginning to end and patiently explained all the options to us. It was such a blessing to talk to John and finally have a conversation with an experienced professional who we could trust to give his straightforward, honest opinion. The car wasn’t starting, so we just emailed in some photos of the damage for the preliminary assessment. John looked at them right away and told us immediately what he thought would be fixable. He actually even asked to put us on hold for a few minutes so he could call his parts dealer right away and check if there were any replacement parts available, because he was not sure the parts would be available for such an old model. We also described all the struggles we were facing with the insurance company and he gave us some truly helpful information about how to navigate our insurance situation and negotiate for the best possible settlement. Then after we finished talking on the phone, we got a follow-up email right away – I think within one or two hours – with a full quote estimating the cost of all the repairs and replacements. Now, nobody in our family knows anything about cars so we were asking a lot of dumb follow-up questions (like, what’s a crossmember? what’s a rear body panel? and so on). John was so patient in answering all our questions and making sure we understood everything in the quote. But we were still feeling a little nervous – what if after we brought in the car, he found some more severe damage that didn’t show up in the initial pictures and the cost of repair “blows up”? When we told him this he offered to come inspect the car in person at our home! He took a thorough look at everything and assured us that he felt confident in his initial quote. Throughout the repair process John gave us updates every 2-3 days, with photos of how the repair was going. We told him how little the insurance company was offering us for the settlement money and thanks to the skill of the Santa Clara Auto Care team (plus I’m sure a little bit of luck!) John was even able to reduce the cost a little bit more from his initial estimate. Not only did they complete the repair to absolute perfection, they left the inside and outside of the car spotlessly clean and polished – it looks brand new, and way better than it looked before the accident. They also insisted on buffing out some other dings and scratches that they noticed, even though it had nothing to do with the accident. When we picked up the car, we even received a pleasant “bonus” surprise: they had found a pair of glasses that my mom thought she lost, and left them neatly in the seat pocket! The team’s attention to detail and standard of care is totally incredible. These are experts who are proud of their work and won’t settle for anything less than perfect. I would never wish for anybody to get into a car crash, but if you find yourself in that situation, Santa Clara Auto Care is the place to go. It was a true relief to work with a professional, honest, trustworthy business and feel absolutely confident that our car was in excellent hands and that we were getting a fair price for an astonishing level of skill and workmanship. Especially in a world of big, faceless insurance companies and a wasteful consumer culture of just buying new things when the old ones don’t work anymore, it gives us such hope and relief that there still exist small businesses like Santa Clara Auto Care and people like John who are dedicated to doing honest, professional, and excellent repair work. We will be recommending Santa Clara Auto Care to absolutely everybody we know!

If you are looking for a professional, trustworthy and high quality auto body repair shop, Santa Clara Autocare is the place to go. My Tesla Model 3 was hit (while parked) and incurred damage to the passenger side rear wheel panel and this was the first time I dealt with having to get vehicle repairs done. John walked me through the process, my vehicle was examined and he worked directly with my insurance company on additional supplements. He kept me updated during every step of the process, explained the details of what was being done, the progress and made me feel confident in the repairs. His team even uncovered damage to my bumper from just a visual inspection would not have found. The "blending" (yes a new term explained to me) of the repaired areas to the rest of the vehicle was seamless. Truly an amazing job. It's difficult (as a woman) to obtain services (in certain industries) where you feel like you are not being taken advantage of. Go to a place you can trust. Go to Santa Clara Autocare.
