Super Friendly Staff. After finishing my errand my car wound not start on a hot Texas afternoon. AAA contacted Santos Automotive when the technician arrived (under 30 minutes) offered for me to sit in his truck while he ran a diagnostic test, determined it wasn't the battery itself it was the terminal connection. Technician got the car started I went to their shop to have the terminals replaced. Super quick. Friendly, Reliable and Professional Service.

Santos Tire and Auto Repair is where you should take your vehicle for repairs. They are dependable, professional and most of all...honest. I've been patronizing this establishment for over 20 years. Their prices are hard to beat. For instance, my vehicle needed rear shocks, one place wanted to charge us $968.00, Santos charged $300.00 less and with better quality shocks. Shop around, you'll end up here.

They were prompt, courteous and professional. They did not try to upsell any unnecessary repairs or services. From the initial call for a tow to giving me the keys back. They were clear from the start with the problem, repair needed and estimate. And the estimate was the final bill. I kept a few of their business cards to give to some friends. Thankful there are still some honest repair shops available.

They stuck with me and fixed my Jeep. I will return if my cars have any problems. Update it came back within a week, and now they want me to pay again to fix the issue I originally took it in for. 5k down the drain, go elsewhere they may be be able to do an oil change but nothing more complicated.

Took my son's car for an oil pan gasket. They called and said 2 other gaskets needed changed, we agreed. Was almost $1300 worth of work we paid for. My son picked up the car and it's a chevy sonic so doesn't have a temperature gauge on it, so it will overheat before the dummy light comes on, then it's too late. The mechanic Alonso did not clamp down the coolant hose so it blew off and stranded my son and his girlfriend who were on their way to the hospital in Grapevine to see me and bring my bag as I had just had a shoulder replacement and was staying over in the hospital. The engine is done and the turbo is done, but of course this punk mechanic who is so rude and tries to talk down to both my son and I that we don't have any idea what we are talking about, says we don't know that the car didn't have a coolant leak as we fixed the oil leak. As much as it is leaking we would have had never gotten the car to them to even fix the oil leak! He had the nerve to give us a quote to fix the coolant leak, radiator needs changed and coolant fan and coolant and he wants $1748.00. So you screwed us and caused more damage and now my son can't drive his car and because it overheated, it has damaged the engine and the turbo! Of course we can't get the owner or whoever is in charge to call either one of us. They have no intention of fixing this Alonso mistake and they are blaming it on my son. I would never take a vehicle to them because I think it was done on purpose because my son looks young and I am a woman and they took advantage and thought we would pay to fix his mistakes! Not happening! But I will be sure to blast the shady work they do and they don't fix your vehicle, they break it more and no one honors the work. Now I have to buy my son another car so he can have a job and get back and forth because I work 2 jobs! I've just had 2 major surgeries in 9 weeks and they screwed up my son's car! It really angers me. I'm sorry the owners wife has cancer and he has supposedly trusted someone else to manage the business, but no one has called us and it's just wrong how people take advantage of you! Inwas recommended to this place and this is how tney now treat their customers! I would stay far away from them!!!!

Paid them to rebuild an engine for $5k, and they said they "did the work." A few weeks later, the same problem came back. Now there's a crack in the engine. Don't trust them; many of their reviews appear a bit suspicious (possibly fake).

Where do I begin? This shop is an excellent example of what not to do! Inefficient, no communication, and slow as molasses. They have had my car for 4 weeks and in that time, not one call from the shop. I did the calling. This is not how a service business should ever be ran. You call the customer. You provide updates and an expected time frame when work will be completed. If you don't love what you do and/or don't have the capacity to do the work, stop taking cars. The unbelievable part is this was a simple alternator repair, smdh. Never again.

Perhaps one of the most professional businesses I've dealt with in years. Honestly, 5 stars is not a high enough rating. My left rear tire came off on I20 and called for a tow. Thankfully, I called the tow truck from Santos Tire and Auto Repair. Throughout the entire repair process, they kept me informed and explained why they were doing what they were doing. I am beyond pleased and can not say enough great things about them. Hopefully, I never need their services again, but if I do and I'm anywhere near them, they WILL get my business.

I will not be using this shop for another repair on any of my vehicles. Owner tried to tell me it was another issue, when it ended up being a bad installation on their part. Beware, waste money and time at your own risk. I wouldn’t trust any major repairs by this shop.
