I was in need of replacing a starter motor in my boat the day before a fishing vacation. I could not find a replacement anywhere as it is not a standard gm starter. I called Ken at SAS and told him my situation. This was after noon when I contacted him. He told me to bring it in to see if they could help. My wife ran it in and they jumped on it right away. I told them I just needed brushes to get me by until salmon season was over. Ken obliged and had my starter back up and running in 2 hours and charged me a fair price. Thank You for saving my vacation Ken.

Friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable is the way I'd describe the owner of SAS in Kennewick. I had issues with my 1948 Ford tractor and this guy was a terrific resource. First, he verified that my starter was good then he sold me the right size 6V battery for it. On my second visit he located the correct sheet metal band that encircles one end of my starter. I didn't even know it was incorrect. We really should have exchanged names, I'll be seeing him again. Highly recommended!
