Went in to have my battery tested to see if it needed replaced, rather than trying to sell me a battery I didn't need he tested it and made sure that it was in working order and recommended only replacing it when it went bad even if it was 5 years old

I was in need of replacing a starter motor in my boat the day before a fishing vacation. I could not find a replacement anywhere as it is not a standard gm starter. I called Ken at SAS and told him my situation. This was after noon when I contacted him. He told me to bring it in to see if they could help. My wife ran it in and they jumped on it right away. I told them I just needed brushes to get me by until salmon season was over. Ken obliged and had my starter back up and running in 2 hours and charged me a fair price. Thank You for saving my vacation Ken.

Friendly, accommodating & knowledgeable is the way I'd describe the owner of SAS in Kennewick. I had issues with my 1948 Ford tractor and this guy was a terrific resource. First, he verified that my starter was good then he sold me the right size 6V battery for it. On my second visit he located the correct sheet metal band that encircles one end of my starter. I didn't even know it was incorrect. We really should have exchanged names, I'll be seeing him again. Highly recommended!

SAS is one of the best kept secrets in the Tri-City area, I have done Business here for years (about 20). If your alternator goes bad, bring it here to see if they can repair it before you buy a new one! Great service at a very reasonable price I have NEVER had a bad experience here.

Sas tested my alternator for free and when they didn't have the part they weren't shy to recommend somewhere else. Side note to the employee with the since of humor that put a smell me sign on the coworkers back I loved the workplace fun. Even if you were told to remove it.
