I pulled into town on July 2, 2012 after literally driving half way across the country. On hearing a terrible noise in my brakes, I found Schwerin Brake Service near our hotel using Google. I drove in to the shop late in the afternoon and was treated fairly, competently, and immediately. They offered to stay late to do the job, but I offered to come back the next morning, since our hotel was close by. The brakes were fixed perfectly (what better city could you be in for a brake job than San Francisco?) and the price was very fair.

I was referred to Oscar by a friend and he took my diagnostic report from Toyota and went through it and told me what had to be done, what Toyota was grossly overcharging me for and what didn't need to be done at all, but Toyota was plumping their bill at my expense. Oscar is extremely trustworthy. He won't rip you off, gets the jobs done quickly and doesn't talk down to women as many other auto repair shops will. He opened the hood of my car and showed me what needed to be replaced. I used him for my auto repairs that time years ago and have been ever since.

Went in on a Groupon deal to get a standard oil change done on my 2010 Mazda 3. I called in the same morning and Oscar was able to get me in before noon that day. He was able to have the car in and out in 45 mins., even though it was obvious he was quite busy (there were at least four more cars in the shop when I arrived). Friendly, professional service and a good price through Groupon too. I will be back in the future for my auto maintenance and repair needs.

I took My car in for some brake pad Replacements at 8am. When I arrived they were already working on cars. As I pulled up a very nice man approached me and asked me what brought me in. He gave me a very reasonable quote compared to other places , and said he'd have it ready in a couple hours. Just to clarify, I didn't have an appointment, and by 10:30am-11 he called to let me know my car was ready to go! Oscar went above and beyond with his customer service. I totally made me feel comfortable, considering MANY shops take advantage when a woman comes in by herself. I will totally come back for any future needs in my car (wheels, service, oil changes, you name it ). Keep up the great work Guys! Thank you

Oscar is excellent. He is honest, patient, and explains things well. The prices here are very reasonable. The first time I went for my heater. He got it working after giving it a few whacks so I was only charged diagnostics. The second I went for more complicated reasons. I ended up needing a new solenoid. I ended up getting an oil change as well. I was happy with everything. I will definitely keep coming back here and recommending it to others.

Oscar, their lead mechanic, helped us with our MINI Cooper brake, calpers, and rotor repair. We needed a full replacement and came to Schwerin because we thought our first quote was really expensive. Schwerin came in less expensive than another automotive shop and they worked quickly and diligently to repair our vehicle. They let us store our car over the weekend and over night and were very flexible + communicative with timing. We were extremely happy with the results and recommend them highly, we'll come back again for sure!
