1st trip was fine replaced transaxle. 2nd trip was a waste of money and time. My 2020 Tundra and I bought new and now has a 150,000 miles has error code drive/start malfunction. So they had 3 days they said there best guess was it was speed sensor on rear wheel. I think I made them mad because I told them I didn't want to play the guessing game. They told me only one was bad but I had to buy both. That was intentional gouge for more money. Because that wasn't true at all you could buy one at a time. So, I spent $600+ one this trip alone and didn't repair what I needed. But, they are claiming that it's not the sensor they replaced it's okay??? Yet I still have to same issue with the truck. Oxmoor Toyota and Tony's brake and did the samething. I've spent $1000's for the guessing game...🤬😡 I'm disappointed in service and honesty.

Working for o local collision center near SMI for last few months. On two occasions national chain tire and alignment centers could not properly align two vehicles now. I didn’t grow up in Louisville and this place was recommended by a coworker. I will definitely be using them for any car troubles. They had to replace my entire exhaust system and some sensors & they did it in one day with great communication from Miguel! I would recommend to my friends and family!

Had my grandson go there because of the stellar reviews. If you have a domestic car, DO NOT GO HERE. they’re completely incompetent for this. Had a simple problem that any junior mechanic could diagnose. No, they ignored the exact code the engine was showing (which we told them precisely) and proceeded to do a whole vehicle checkup including brakes and differential etc. at great expense. They try to milk you out of every penny by making suggestions on things you don’t need and cost $$$. Honestly it’s either gross negligence/ignorance or outright dishonesty. The rave reviews make absolutely no sense to me. Good luck if you go here, you have been warned.

SMI was able to diagnose and fix an intermittent electrical issue with my Nissan Sentra that two other shops (include a Nissan dealership) plus two trips to AutoZone could not. After months of dealing with other places having no idea what to do and/or trying to sell me half baked and overpriced solutions based on shaky diagnostics, SMI was able to pinpoint the issue and fix it for a very reasonable price. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, and honest as far as I can tell. I will certainly be returning for both my maintenance and repair needs.

Brought my car in there as I was sick of multiple mechanics telling me that the brakes where fine. I felt like I was driving a bus they were so loud. They inspected the brakes, and agreed, I needed new brakes AND rotors. They replaced the same day I dropped it by, and the vehicle is amazing again. A+++ Service. I highly recommend SMI to others!

Not real happy with SMI. Our first time having work done there. Asked to have heat diagnosed and repaired, asked for oil change,asked to fix tire pressure sensor, asked to diagnose radio (not working). Was told that it would be 170. to diagnose the radio and we agreed to that price. They called and said that the estimate would be 866.oo. and also they could not fix the radio and recommended a place to take it. I said go ahead with the other work. After they called and said it was done we went to pick it up. They replaced the air flow actuator flap (which I told them I suspected was the problem, a 241.oo part ?) Which fixed the heat. They changed the oil 109.oo . They did not fix the tire pressure sensor giving the warning light even though it is plainly listed on the repair order. And I wasn't informed that they weren't going to do this when he called and gave me the quote for the repairs. So I thought that that was part of the 866.00 estimate. But when We went to pick the car up found out that the tire pressure sensor had not been repaired. Also when we first asked about fixing the radio we were told it would be 170.00 to diagnose ( which they did not charge us for I will say) but we were later told that they didn't even work on radios which was perplexing considering that it was one of the items we wanted to address. So basically we paid 241.+ 109. for a part and an oil change, which means about 600.00 in labor I guess. Then after we picked the car up and paid they called and told us they they would give us a break on the price of fixing the tire pressure sensors........and I later called him back and told him we could get that done even cheaper than their price at Ken Towery (I called and checked) to sum up, very high cost for so little done....we are not happy with SMI ......we do not recommend.

Apparently a 45 thousand dollar corvette that needs a clutch and rebuilt tq tube is too hard for them to fix. They also said there labor is 180 an hour. Apparently lawyers and mechanics eat caviar and steak all day. Never going to this joke shop again! BASICLY REFUSED TO FIX THE CAR!

Our first service experience outside of the dealership with our audi q7 and i can say without a doubt we won't be taking anywhere else for repairs in the future. Our service advisor Jeff was very friendly, knowledgeable and communicative throughout the repairs. And the cherry on top of their excellent service was that they saved us thousands off of our original estimate from the dealership. Thank you SMI! We will do business again! I chose SMI because they had good reviews and gave me the best quote for an expensive repair I needed on my car. They deserve every one of their 5 stars! They did the work for the price and in the (fast) time they promised, they clearly explained the other issues they found on the car and charged a very fair price to fix those things, they were super friendly and very accommodating. Taking your car in for expensive service is never fun, but SMI made it stress-free and easy. And most importantly, the car runs great now! I will definitely use them again next time I need any car work!
