Friendly staff and vacuums are always in working order. Update: Looks like this car wash is running under new ownership and new business name. The cheapest wash went from $5 to $10(yes, doubled the price). Looks like their business went down since the new owners took over, I can see fewer cars going in there. Definitely a bad strategy to raised up their prices. Place keeps going downhill, two of their vacuums don't work now . This places needs attention

Mediocre wash. What I expected for a $20 car wash. The blowers didn’t get all the water off and there were still dirty spots on the car including the windshield.

I used this exact car wash for years under Fullers with little to no issues. Under the new sparkle ownership they haven’t made repairs after 1.5 months for the tire shine (something I’m paying for). Moreover my car was damaged (2022 Tesla Model X) and my charge port was broken off (it was not a flimsy piece but a fully molded and enclosed piece of the tail light assembly.) They claimed it was “loose trim” and my responsibility. For those familiar with Teslas, my car was in “Car Wash Mode” and I have video recorded by the car for the incident. Please steer clear of here!! I had 2 cars with monthly subscriptions - paying them $70 / month. They were not willing to file an insurance claim. 🤔. Please note all the positive reviews are for Fullers, NOT Sparkle.

BEWARE! IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL! The experience for the car was itself was mediocre; hence only three stars. There was a residue on the car after the wash was finished. After we tried to cancel (three times), they continued to charge us. We continue to have to block their charges w the CC company because they still haven't adjusted their system.

This is the third time in two weeks that cones have been blocking access. Unfortunately, this ongoing issue has been very frustrating. I’ll be cancelling the memberships on both vehicles and won’t be returning.

Been washing my car, Tesla, for over a year with them and it's great place. I think they found their perfect niche and should not change. If they get a competitors, they should think about lowering price a little bit since it's reasonable but not cheap.

I’ve given this car wash too many opportunities in hopes of a better end result but I always end up disappointed. I purchased the $20.00 car wash and my car is still very dirty, so disappointing to pay twenty dollars and still end up with a dirty vehicle. I will upload photos of my vehicle after the wash.

This was the first time I’ve been to this car wash and I was extremely impressed! Big shoutout to Mike. I saw him stay cool under pressure, he had an EV customer having problems putting in car wash mode- handled it like a champ! No eye rolling, no attitude like a lot of places these days. I’ll be back

On 8/21/25 I went thru lane 2 for a $10 wash. My rear window windshield wiper was ripped off and the fixture that it attaches to in the rear window of my SUV was broken in half. I returned a few days later to talk to a manager who examined my car and filled out a report and a damage claim. He said they had just gotten new brushes and they had trouble with them and needed to adjust the speed. He said I would be hearing from the company. I never heard anything. I returned to the car wash and spoke to another manager and he said the same thing - that I would be hearing from the company. My credit card had also been charged $10 when I had paid the $10 fee in cash for the car wash. He returned the $10 overcharge, but it has now been 50 days since the damage was done to my car and I have heard nothing from the company. I got an estimate for repair and replacement of the wiper arm and fixture from Subaru for a total of $259.33. I cannot clean off my windshield when it rains or gets dirty which impairs my ability to drive safely, and it will be even more dangerous when it snows. DO NOT take your car to Sparkle Express car wash on Randall Road in Elgin. They will damage your car and then give you the run-around. VERY dishonest, disreputable company!!

Something went wrong when I was going through the car wash, when some parts were not working. One of the workers met with me at the end and apologized. She asked me to go drive back in after they fixed it (I forgot to ask for her name). Also gave me a free car wash card, towel, and air freshener for the inconvenience. Great customer service!

We pay for the monthly plan, which is $19.95 and I can get a wash every single day. I go there a couple times a week, sometimes more. I love the convenience, the price and the quality of the wash. The equipment works effectively, and really helps in the winter with the salt and grime build-up. The crew there is always ready and welcoming, they wet brush the back end after entering the rails, and they are quick to help if there is a problem at the machines where you choose your wash and pay. Overall, I always have a great experience.

It was my first time there and I was very impressed. I'm glad I took the time to wait in line Your pricing options are 10, 15, or 20 dollars unless you are a member I found it to be a great value for the money. They have attendants there and another nice feature is the free vacuum.

A membership was opened in my name without my authorization. I tried multiple times to cancel and was told they couldn’t even find my account. Despite this, my debit card was charged anyway. I disputed the charges through my bank and thought it was resolved, but I was charged again in November ($20.95), December ($20.95), and January ($20.95) — even though I have not used this car wash since July. This account should have been canceled long ago. Extremely frustrating and unacceptable. Watch your bank statements closely.

This place has really gone downhill. I went to wash my car last week and purchased their second cheapest wash which was 20 dollars, and the vacuum nozzle outside was just completely broken, the suction was so much worse I couldnt vacuum my car properly and my vehicle was left completely filthy in the rear. Friendly people but the floor was wet and disgusting very displeased with this will not be returning. The cheapest wash is also 10 dollars? Completely unreasonable.
