I do go to speed checks a lot. Gas is the cheaper. They did have gambling machines that you could sit and meet new people.

There all great gas stations and small convenient stores, also most definitely love playing the machines, games, or most would say pushing the buttons but this store on 10th and East Ave I had got $21 from my friend that didn't know he was already inside pushing buttons and I was to get him a pack of cigarettes and me a Black & Mild and I gave the cashier the money and he never gave me my boys cigarettes but gave me the Black & Mild and change and he claimed he gave them to me and threaten to call the police and I walked over to my boy gave him the change and had him check me for the cigarettes which the cashier charged me for with the Black & Mild and still nothing was done about my boys cigarettes or money for the cigarettes and I was told that they wouldn't even check the video footage to see that he never gave me the cigarettes so I don't know about that store but for the most part I know all the other Speed Check's are great & no problems 👌👍💯😎

They are somewhat time efficient but be sure to pay close attention to the price of the items you're buying. They don't mark their items individually and they have overcharged me on more than 1 occasion. Their items are already overpriced to begin with.

I have now been in this neighborhood for 6 years. I have known both of the speed checks in this area to be not only deceptive but completely inconsiderate and sometimes outright disgusting. I cannot keep my silence one more day after having been accused of stealing something from this location on 10th and East avenue! I have actually helped people purchase their items when I was in line just to assist the cashier because of the obvious tension and the mere fact that the person had obviously manipulated the cashier before. I have no problem whatsoever assisting people when they need a couple dollars here and there I've gone as far as paying for a person's whole entire order because I would want someone to do the same for me. The biggest problem I have with both of the speedy checks in my neighborhood is the fact that they do not mark prices on anything and I'm almost positive they do so because they know that lower income persons with SNAP benefits come in there and the cashiers take advantage of that fact! I've purchased 10 items before and paid almost $40!!!! And then to make matters worse if you don't pay enough attention they will double charge your card! It is actually happened to me three times now and I only recently complained about it because I had enough! I stopped going to the speedy check closest to my house because I felt uncomfortable due to the cashiers advances towards me! Not to mention, the clientele that frequence this speed check is disturbing to say the least. I was bit by a Pitbull after the owner of the pitbull refused the dog food that I had purchased. I do not blame the dog at all she was definitely hungry but when he pushed the food back at me she bit me because she thought I was taking the food back! I hope that poor dog gets help. The employees at the speedy check were not concerned whatsoever even though they allow that man to panhandle in their parking lot daily! After I was done working third shift I went to purchase my usual snack at the 10th Street speedy check and I was accused of stealing. I thought for sure the cashier was kidding but then I called when I returned home and the cashier repeated what he had said and when I tried to get clarification he hung up on me! These creepy speedy checks are popping up everywhere with their obscene lighting and their drug paraphernalia and the fake gambling atmosphere! They need to be chased out of our town! There's no pricing on anything and it only benefits them. If you ask for a receipt they become disgruntled and give you a makeshift receipt that provides pricing details at most. They never really want you to know what you're paying for each item and which item costs how much. I've never been so disgusted in my entire life! To be spoken down to in broken English that you can hardly comprehend from behind a plexiglass wall is one thing but it's an entire another insult when that person has been in our country for 6 years at least!!!! I am not racist and I am not One to judge or stereotype but I am almost positive if I were in their country for 6 years and I didn't follow their customs or try to learn their ways I would be In a much more aggressive situation. And trust me I'm putting that mildly. If anyone else agrees with me that the speedy checks and these fake gambling sites are parasitic, please speak up with me!
