Mike's knowledge of 70s Datsun Z cars enabled him to better route the vacuum lines on my 280 so my timing would make my car faster and they rebuilt the springs on my distributor. Excellent job.

I have a Subaru WRX that needed a 5MT clutch replacement; it was overdue and slipping. I wanted to upgrade from the OEM to a stage 2 clutch and new lightweight flywheel assembly. Other shops didn't want to help me with it, i didn't have the time to do it myself, and another shop recommended Sportscar Performance. I'm very satisfied with my choice of having their team's help in getting the job done. They swapped the clutch & flywheel assembly, replaced the rear main seal, and the oil separator plate gasket for me. Very quick & precision workmanship. I look forward to using their services again.

I called Sportscar Performance regarding a SMG Transmission issue for my 2004 e46 M3. And asked them if they could read the codes cause the COG transmission light is on. I informed them I pulled codes 36 and 37 with the BMW INPA diagnostics software. Which points to gear position sensor and gear position angle. They said they could look at it but never answered the question about having the appropriate diagnostic software. So I dropped of the car for diagnostics anyway (BIG MISTAKE). Two weeks later I get a call that it's looking like the hydraulic pump ($5k part) isn't holding pressure but need more time to be certain. I inform them that the hydraulic pump had been replaced three years ago and I/ you can here it prime when the door is opened and it's NOT popping out of gear, which are clear indicators that the pump is working. They said maybe it's not holding pressure. I asked if they got a code for failed hydraulic pump. No answer to that and to check back a little later. Two more weeks pass. Now the car has been at Sportscar Performance for a month. I decide to stop by on my day and the car is just SITTING OUTSIDE. They told I owed them $185 for diag. So I paid it to get my car without any issue. A few weeks later I decide to try a different mechanic. Called them confirmed they had the proper diagnostic software and dropped the car off DIRCTLY IN THEIR GARAGE, this is important later. Mechanic calls me the next day and said its the "Hood Lock"($150 part). I approve the repair and get my car back running in a WEEK! No more COG light and the transmissions shifts fine. Take the car home to my garage where it stays. I have a two car garage at my house the and this car lives in it! Now that the car is running, it's time to wash it. Once the car was washed by hand. I've never washed this car in an automatic carwash ever. Always by hand. I notice HAIL DAMAGE ON THE ROOF, TRUNK AND PASSENGER FENDER. There were several storms that month my car was at Sportscar Performance and now I have hail damage that was not there prior to failed diagnostics. Like I said earlier, the car was just sitting in the parking lot a good distance from the shop. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE UNLESS YOU WANT POOR SERVICE

I’m a 15+ year customer of Mikes. He’s tackled our 91 jag many of times! Recently, our QX60 was having issues with the computer module. Randomly our A/C controls would not respond. Unfortunately, our car warranty had just expired. We took the car to the dealership because we needed a loaner car at the time. After 5 days we got the call from the service department. $11,900 in repairs! We were shocked! Being retired we weren’t enthusiastic about spending that amount on an old car. we also didn’t want to buy a newer car at the time, so we picked up the car and decided to do our research. My husband suggested taking the car to Mike for a second opinion. After all, he’d worked on our jag for years. Mike asked us to give him a couple hours to diagnose the proble. He gave us a call and said, you’re going to like what I found! Our car was fixed and we walked out the door owing less than $200.00! I can’t express how grateful we are for his honesty! Obviously the dealership was out to sell us a new car!!! So fraudulent!!! If you’re looking for a honest skilled mechanic …Mikes your man!!! Sports Car Performance has never advertised because they don’t have to!

Amazing mechanics to work with. Mike is very knowledgeable as well as his technician Keith. The experience and service are incomparable. It’s surprising there aren’t more reviews. They were able to bring my little old Mercedes that sat forever back to life. They also ordered additional parts that I asked for post service for me. The pricing model aligns with their work. Fair work for a fair price 🤝 Truly a one stop shop that can suit all needs.

Rudest people ever. Doesn’t let people speak, saying they are busy when owner was just sitting in the car and starts giving attitude. Don’t bring your car to them just not worth it.
