They tried to push tires of very poor quality and claimed were better than known good tires. Likely due to a partnership with that firebrand imo

The employees and the main one in the office they were approachable and nice but the thing is it was to spensive the alignment and the issues continue it's moving the steer wheel and it's not straight 100 and is shaking the car I think the mechanic they don't have alot of experience that's why it was kind of empty the place

I’m really angry. Pep Boys used to be a trusted place to go to for quick and sometimes not so quick repairs. I had problems with no heat on cold days and took it to another place. They replaced the thermostat for nearly $300. Then it overheated, so I instantly took it to Pep Boys. They charged $600 to replace a hose and sold me a battery. I live a mile away and it started overheated just going home. I called them and took it back the next day or so. I left it for over a week again while we were traveling and they did nothing except drive it around. For nine years, the engine temp gauge has been rock solid just below the midway mark. The high speed radiator fan would come on when the external temp was 95°. Now the fan comes on when the outside temp is in the 60’s. The service guys said it’s fine as long as the gauge is not in the red. I took it to another place this morning. They were shocked when I told them what the techs here said. I can never trust these guys again.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Worse experience of my life. Not only did they try to rip me off. When I picked up the truck they had dug a piece out my dash and claimed they didn’t do it. They also charged me $140 for diagnosing the truck and didn’t give any documentation of what was found and the prices. I will be suing for the cost of my dash and a refund of my diagnostic fee!!!

Repairs were timely; work was clean, done correctly, Service Manager "Izzy" was accurate in pricing and what needed to be done in my next visit to Pep Boys Service. Excellent service all around.

Manager and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They were unable to complete my repairs due to parts being unavailable. But did complete work that they could. Manager shared information about the parts that are needed to complete the repairs. I would certainly return to this Pep Boys location for any auto repair needs.

First and last time i come here. The appointment not honored, they forget about you once you are there , if you don’t ask you will be waiting there for longer than two hours just to perform an oil change. Never again.

had an excellent experience at Pep Boys today, and I can’t say enough about the incredible customer service I received. Israel and Chris were absolutely amazing—professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful from the moment I walked in. They quickly diagnosed my battery issue and replaced it under warranty with no hassle at all. On top of that, they installed new windshield wipers and replaced a headlight, making sure everything was working perfectly before I left. I appreciated how thorough they were and how clearly they explained everything along the way. What really stood out was how much they cared about doing the job right—not just rushing through it. It’s rare to find service like this where you feel respected, valued, and taken care of. Israel and Chris are true professionals, and I’ll definitely be returning to this Pep Boys location thanks to them. Highly recommend!

I went in for a 30-45 minute battery change and 4 hours later they let me know my vehicle is undrivable and they have to order an alternator fuse. It wont be ready until the next day. The vehicle was running and didn't need to be jumpstarted when I brought it in for a new battery. I'm sure Pep Boys reversed the polarity on the battery and blew the fuse. They did, however, try to tell me I caused it by jumpstarting it many times.

Please don’t take your car HERE, they are ROBBING people. My wife and I took our daughter’s car there this morning. They told us the Brakes were at a 3, also need all 4 Brakes & Rotors, shocks and struts, and master cylinder needs to checked. Estimated total over $1000. We took the car to Brakes Plus in Arlington off Eden and found out the Brakes are at a 6. Rotors, are great and just only had air in the Brake line. Total cost $80 dollars. Take heed to this warning and don’t believe what they say at this place. They are in the Business of Robbing good hard working people. Taking advantage of people lack of knowledge with cars. If you take your car here and they come back with some outrageous cost, get a 2nd opinion. Brakes Plus, are some honest people and have good rates. Pep Boys, will never see one my cars again and I have 6. This is crazy, that Business are allowed to do this to people. When it comes to Pep Boys, Beware because they don’t Care! You’ve been WARNED!

Never called to ask us what tire we wanted, or to give estimate. We did not want Cooper tire. Contacted us when it was already done and charged an exorbitant 60+ dollars for labor!!! Did not put the hub cap on until we asked them to. Did not put the spare tire away until we asked them to. Did not re-program the TPMS sensor!!!! Charged us for extended road hazard coverage that we did not want and would have declined should we had been consulted prior to doing the work! THIS WAS BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST, IF NOT THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. We will do what we can to prevent others from suffering the same.

The hubs and I have had to visit twice in the past few months for our vehicles. Both times we've had a good experience. Although we're always given an estimated time of service to be completed, we always opt to wait at home. The wait tends to be a little longer than figured, but it's still done. And it's good work. It's a good chance we'll be visiting again in the future.

The employees were really nice people however they were not nice to my tires/rims. I went to go replace my tire sensors and they damaged 3 out of 4 of my tires. Seems like they dont really care about doing good work. By the time i left it was already dark outside so i didn’t notice anything. I wont go in person to say anything since i doubt they will care. But anyway, if you have expensive rims/tires dont go here.

Wanted to start the new year with a new oil changed and pep boys was open on for New Year's day. However, the person who actually does all the price managing did not show up to work so no one could get anything done at all. And no one else knew how to handle that. So not particularly an issue with the day but the fact that no one else knows how to price things is an issue.

They got me in and out in about 30 minutes for 2 new front tires on my scat pack. One guy wrote me up, brought my car back, and did the service. He did a great job.

I brought my car to Pep Boys for what should have been a simple auxiliary battery replacement. During the service, the technicians damaged my vehicle’s fuse box, which caused a chain of electrical problems. After the repair, they gave me back my car — but I only made it a few blocks before it completely died. I then had to wait and pay for a tow truck to bring the vehicle right back to Pep Boys. Once back, I was charged for a new fuse box, labor, and miscellaneous shop supplies, even though the issue occurred while the car was in their care. The damage also drained my main battery completely, making it unrecoverable. That battery was still under warranty, yet I had to buy a new one from Pep Boys just to get my car running again. To make matters worse, I asked for my old battery so I could handle the warranty myself, but it was never returned and has gone missing. What started as a simple battery replacement turned into an expensive and stressful ordeal. I expected accountability and better service from Pep Boys, but instead I was left paying for mistakes that were not mine. I hope management takes this seriously and works to improve both quality control and customer care.

I had gone here about late September for a simple oil change, right? Months later, late January, my car's oil light lit up. Pop open the hood and see that not only did whoever work on my car left their flashlight IN THE ENGINE, but my car HAD NO OIL. I do not know who did my oil change but the metal flashlight could have done serious damage to my engine. I even opened it up to see that it was in fact not one of my flashlights. I also do not know how my car had no oil to begin with, but I don't even know what other kinds of damage there could be to the car. Not worth the stress

I cannot begin to tell you what a TERRIBLE idea it is to bring your car to this place. We were stuck due to the warranty company we had with our car. They have 1 technician who seems to never be on duty. We have not once received a phone call updating us on the status of our car. They have had it for over 3 months and any update has come from my husband making multiple phone calls asking for information. Please, please. Take your car anywhere but here. They are in no hurry to help you and will do nothing to inform you of progress.

Do not go here. Was towed here after car died on the highway. They replaced battery and alternator. Drove off the lot and immediately had an engine fire. Called insurance, had Pep Boys fix it. Melted harness, cooling fan caught fire, etc. Six WEEKS later we get it back, and the nighttime running lights aren't functioning, drivers headlight isn't functioning. Called another mechanic to take a look, he showed me there is still a short in the system, AND several engine parts just aren't even attached. Harness is still melted. Headlight wasn't plugged in. I am furious. I have CHILDREN.
