I had my transmission rebuilt here 7 yrs ago only had a minor issue some time after the repair broght it in they just had to adjust something and it never failed it was the second rebuild first one not done by them but where I bought it only lasted 4 months on first rebuild my rebuild here has out lasted the rest of the van lol I've known others to have rebuilds done at other shops and the rebuild has failed right after warranty I now live 3 hours away and if I ever need a big job done I would definitely bring it here the quality of work here is the best

I have just started going to st cloud transmission this year. I have had them do would on 2002 GMC 2500hd truck. From oil change to replacing Transfer case. And I have total confidence in these guys Only shop in tone I will use from now on. Plus Kurt the mechanic there WhoI deal with is an awesome guy and is very honest with me.

It started as a good experience when, I was told by the mechanic that checked my car, that it was not my transmission that was bad, but was most likely some sensors, or at worse case some minor transmission work which would be around $500 to $600. Then after they replaced some sensors and I was told it was fixed. It was NOT. The next day I spent $250 for the repair and got my car back. Upon driving away I still noticed the transmission problem when driving my buick LeSabre . After a return visit they totally changed there story and I was looking at $1600 for transmission rebuild Ended up having the transmission rebuilt at another honest and respectable service center.

be careful with these guys. we had a used transmission put in by them, they said the seal looked good and didn't' need replacing. barely a year later the seal is bad and now we have a costly repair or a junk car. i suggest you look for a place that stands behind their work better. A seal in good shape shouldn't leak after one year and only about 5,000 miles driven.

Was on a deadline and was told 3 hours earlier that it wouldn't be a problem (was just getting 2 tires mounted) I got there as they were supposed to be ready for pickup and they had not even been touched. He then had the audacity to charge double what it would have cost to get done elsewhere. In addition to all this he destroyed the finish on my brand new powdercoated wheels. Would go literally anywhere else before I would have service done by him again. I've also had 2 transmissions done here and both of which didn't last. I've since moved my business down the road and been nothing but happy!

They do very good work and very honest and they go through every with you before they do any work on your vehicle . They call you to let you know what it cost and how long to take to fix the problem on your vehicle . Very nice and a good business to deal with I would go back to them agine .

The quality of service was superb had Kurt help me out with the transmission pick out and the types of coverage with each plan and had the new one (I bought used) in no time. These guys are next to none, they have excellent customer service and friendly staff and are one of the best shops I have been to. I highly recommend this place to my friends and anyone else who needs some work done. Call them for other car concerns, they just don't tackle transmission work! So call and see what they offer!

EDIT: Avoid this transmission shop at all costs. A year ago, I had them “rebuild” a transmission for my restoration project. After an entire year and seven trips back to their shop, they still couldn’t figure out what was wrong with their own work. No solutions, no accountability just a massive waste of my time and money. In the end, I demanded a full refund, but they only gave me half of what I originally paid. I took it and walked away because I wouldn’t trust these guys to touch my vehicle ever again. If they refund me the other half, I’ll take this review down and move on. But as it stands, this is the worst auto shop I have ever dealt with in the St. Cloud area, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
