What a pleasant experience... Mike is honest and the prices are MORE than fair... I was in and out with a new affordable Radiator in under 3hrs... I was quoted a price and I paid under quoted price which is VERY uncommon... I would HIGHLY recommended this place to anyone I ever talked to about Radiator services... I needed the radiator outlet replaced, and they did a perfect job replacing it, and as part of the service, they cleaned the entire radiator and also repainted the whole thing!! Very knowledgeable and I will use them again!!

Most excellent auto repair experience in recent memory. Luis is HONEST, polite, courteous, understanding and accommodating. The work was done efficiently, accurately, and completely. The car was delivered clean, and as promised. BEST OF ALL: the final total bill was LESS than the original estimate! When was the last time that happened? I came to Standard Radiator after reading the outstanding reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. As a grandfather on a tight financial tether, Luis gave me every inch of that leash and some more; not once snapping it back. HIGHLY RECOMMEND A+ If I could recommend it more, I would.

Dude helped me put to remove a stubborn bolt on my suspension. It required every trick in the book to remove but he never gave up and worked on it for about an hour. Didn't overcharge. Nice to see people help with random headaches that other shops rather not touch.

I've been looking a long time for a local mechanic with a solid and ethical reputation. After being charged astronomical and unnecessary charges ( dealership ), I asked people on FB for recommendations. Based on input, I chose Mike's Standard Radiator last December and decided this is my new place for car repairs. My car needed some work recently, and again, I know I've made the right choice. Mike and his mechanics get the job done. Mike explains exactly what the car needs and offers to show you by pointing out what he sees. Mechanics I know I can trust to do a job right and not not gouge you. Most major repairs are typically half of what you pay at car dealers. Shop is always busy. Update: highly recommend that you make an appointment if you want your car serviced. Update: it is essential that you make an appointment to have your vehicle serviced.

Mike is Awesome! He's got a little shop out in Corona, but him and his crew do good work. After he took a look at my vehicle he showed me where my condenser on the radiator had a leak. Best mechanic shop you can find. Really an honest mechanic. My parents have been coming here for years, and the level of service continues to be outstanding. Just to give you an example, after a diagnosis, Mike called us to let us know what the problem was. After looking around for the part that needed replacing, he called us back to inform us the soonest he could get it was in a week. To get us back on the road and not have us waiting for a week, he went above and beyond and took the part from his own car and put it in ours. Who does that?! I am blown away by the kindness and expertise they demonstrate to have at this shop. Good luck finding another place like this Gem.

My husband handled most of the business with my car here. I think the service was a bit overpriced than what we're used to, but we're in a different County now and learning. I understand they have to make a living as well, but $150 for a diagnostic test? I don't think I've ever encountered that one before. We had minimal work done; just enough to drive that bad boy safely off their grounds and hopefully take elsewhere more reasonable. You may receive different service, but this was our personal experience.

I started coming here at the recommendation of my grandma and I haven't gone anywhere else since. Mike is a genuine, honest, hard working mechanic. He helped me out with my car so much, especially when I was in college and I still go to him to this day. He always figures out whatever car problem I bring him (and I've brought him some pretty big problems, sorry Mike lol), he does the work in a timely manner, and he's very fair in terms of price. He's very kind and knowledgable. As a woman that has no knowledge of car things, I'm always wary of being taken advantage of due to my lack of car knowledge, but I don't worry about that at all at Mike's, he is always transparent and honest. He has even taken his time to explain the car stuff to me and give me advice on how to maintain my car in working conditions. I will continue to come to Mike for all my car problems and I 10/10 recommend him to any and all of my friends.
