Star Auto Repair is the best. I recommend everyone to take their car there for repair. Rene and his staff are very professional. They get the job done right and in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable, they don't charge you for things you don't need like other places. I highly recommend them to everyone. I wouldn't let anyone else work on my car.

Got a flat right outside of here this morning thanks to all of the lovely spring potholes, and thankfully was helped by two gentlemen waiting for the shop to open. They recommended the place highly, but I had to go to work down the street — came back over my lunch break on their recommendation and got a new tire for $40! (My old one was too far gone.) Fantastic. I was so impressed with their service and availability.

These guys were awesome! They took me without an appointment, on a holiday no less! They checked my vehicle out thoroughly and made me a list of things that needed repairs but were not pressing. There was a safety issue with one problem. They were closing early yet they stayed about an hour after closing to fix the problem so I could drive 2hrs back home safely. Outstanding!

I recently took my car to Star Auto and I'm very satisfied with my experience. I needed a car inspection for my job and they were the cheapest by far. I got other quotes for an inspection and one was $115, whereas Star did it for $35. I needed suspension work done and again they were $75 cheaper than the cheapest quote I got. They installed struts, ball joints, and sway bar links in a little over 2 hours. I would say that the only hang about this place is the place itself, there are all kinds of leaks in the ceiling. With that being said, big deal. I got quality work done fast at a reasonable price. I will take my business back to Star in the future, no doubt about it...

They saw me Saturday morning, no wait! Didn’t miss work, and didnt have to pay for Ubers!! When I had questions, I was helped me immediately. Very fair prices, and a great staff. As a single mom I was never talked down to or felt taken advantage of. Highly recommended!!

Highly recommend. I got 2 cars towed in to get worked on. The mechanic communicated very well on every detail about both cars. Everything Woodhouse messed up on one vehicle was found and corrected by Star Auto in a couple of hours. The cost of labor and parts cannot be beat. Very professional. Very educated mechanic. The owner is professional. They care about their customers and their customers vehicles. I would give more stars if I could.

I took my car to this shop. They quoted me $468. A week later, I'm calling to ask when a good time to pick up my car. They tell me there's an issue they need more time to check into it. Two weeks later, they quoted that its going to be an additional $1,4**-ish dollars totaling around 2k. I said I didn't have that kinda scratch. We couldn't work anything out. So then they leave my car on the road so it'd be impounded taking my plates off. My car battery was magically dead as well. Then, I had to pay to get my car out of the impound.

This is a shady place! Watch out please I took my car in and they were fixing my clutch. They told me my transmission was broken... and still put my clutch in after telling me that afterwards that I just owed them $100 for looking at it. So then I owe over $500. Why would you put a new clutch in if the transmission is broken. Mind you this is a couple weeks before Christmas. Absolutely horrible place.

Honest, thorough, and fast! What more could you ask for from a mechanic? The crew at Star Auto fanatic! They have great at getting me in and out quickly. I had two issues recently. First, my car was overheating on the interstate due to a coolant leak. I limped it to a gas station and filled it with antifreeze, then called Star, and they got me in right away and were very thorough in investigating the cause. It turns out the radiator cap went bad. Cheap fix due to their honesty. Secondly, I had a check engine light. The scanner showed a misfire on one of the cylinders. Again, they did a number of things in troubleshooting, and it turned out to be a loose connection and only charged me the $40 diagnostic fee.

Man these guys don’t mess around! I went in yesterday at 9am for a having a really bad coolant leak, and was out by 12pm with 2 new coolant hose replacements They work fast and efficient, not to mention how kind and respectful they were. 12/10 definitely recommend 👍🏿

Extremely disappointed with Star Auto Repair. The service was unprofessional – staff seemed indifferent and provided no clear updates about my vehicle. Despite waiting for hours, my car wasn't even looked at. The waiting area was uncomfortable with no proper amenities. Other customers appeared frustrated too, suggesting this isn't an isolated incident. When I finally asked for an update, the response was dismissive. Left without getting service after wasting my entire morning. Would not recommend this place to anyone expecting timely, professional auto care. There are much better repair shops in town that value customers' time and business. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

Great guys. Hard-working and honest. I was driving down the road and I had some problems with my axle. They tightened it up for me and showed me what the problem was. They understood my situation and were willing to work with me. So I am going back next week to have some work done. I can’t recommend this shop enough.
