Aaron did a incredible job with my harley softail custom. He got it tuned and it just purrs now. He did a great job with changing all my fluids and cleaning out the minor things and I can't ask for more than that. I highly appreciate and recommend taking your car or motorcycle to him.

Amazing service!!! I ran out of coolant in my car while driving home, and pulled into the parking lot without realizing that it was a car shop, and a very nice man (didn’t catch his name) came and filled my car right up in no time at all. So nice, and God bless for such a nice person.

The battery in my wife's car died on a Sunday morning, I called to see if they were open on Sunday. They weren't, but they opened up so that I could get a new battery. Excellent customer service! They also sell one of the best brand batteries available for about the same price as the competition sells their more generic crap batteries for. Thank you start specialists!

Start Specialist may not be the prettiest building, but there is something to be said for results. They have kept the overhead low and passed the savings on to the customer! My starter was done within an hour an half, the price was less than half that of anyone else I got a quote from. I've done business there for years and have never been disappointed! I have dealt with star specialist for years, they have always done great business. As President and vice President of the stock car club we operated on a shoestring budget anytime we needed electrical repairs on Old equipment they were more than happy to donate time parts and effort to get us up and going again. I have purchased batteries from them for years I have also had many alternators and generators worked on. These people are good to a fault, unbelievably good people you won't be disappointed.

Not even sure where to start. At the beginning of a RV holiday and genset won’t turn over. Genset is enclosed in a cabinet very hard to easily access. Start specialists - with no appointment - left scheduled work and focused on our RV step by step as we were on holidays. Panel by panel. Step by step. Check after check. Until they found the three issues and repaired them all. They could have bailed at least twice. Crossroads at those times involved taking everything still further apart and creating still more work to reassemble. But they never did that. They stuck with it. All afternoon. With smiles. Good attitude. Amazing people. Highly experienced. All character. You have our gratitude forever!

I had a vehicle issue that was causing leakage and knew it needed immediate attention . I reached out to 5+ shops who were booked out for multiple weeks. Josh was able to get me in same day . Although they had other things on the schedule he made room for me. He was quick to diagnose my vehicle , find the parts, and gave me a transparent detailed breakdown of the cost which I felt was very reasonable overall. They even stayed a little after hours in order to make sure my car was taken care of. I was able to pick my car up that same evening and I’m so thankful. Thank you Josh and the Specialist team for getting me back on the road !

The only place you need to know for electrical issues, batteries, etc. Cheaper than Walmart or Costco (and they install for free). They add the moisture barrier, and can diagnose an issue CORRECTLY the first time. Recommend them to all my friends, especially for those new to Idaho. Don't be taken back by the grungy building. They are top-notch. My first experience with them was with a car that kept running the battery down (but not all the time). I took it to the auto parts stores to check it out...replaced the battery a couple times, alternator, etc. The guy at Start Specialists diagnosed the voltage regulator in about 3 minutes, and had it replaced in less than a day. The last battery they put in my car lasted over 7 years. Cannot say enough good about these guys.
