Took my 2023 Pathfinder for service to change the oil and filter and check a problem with the navigation system. The navigation system shuts down randomly and often does not come on when the car started for 15 or 20 minutes. They said they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and told me to bring it back if the problem got worse. They did not do any diagnostics to check it. Since then it has been down every day for several hours at a time. No radio. No navigation. No backup cameras. Follow up… I took the car back when the problem got worse. They kept the car 3 days and said it was fixed. Told me I had a bad usb connection on my phone that was causing the problem. Said if I plugged my phone back in and the problem returned the next repair would be my expense. On the way home the problem was still there. I took the car to Elevated Nissan in Merriam and they found the problem (a loose wire behind the fuse box).

My parents recently had a very disappointing experience at Nissan on State Line. Everything started off great — they came in with a pre-approval and worked with Gretchen, who was kind and helpful. The process seemed smooth, and they were even able to take the car home that same day. A couple of weeks later, they found out that a full loan application was never actually completed. The dealership had given them the car based only on the pre-approval, and then later told them they needed to return it. What made things worse was that someone in the finance department mentioned reporting the car stolen — even though the dealership had all of my parents’ information and clear communication with them the entire time. It felt as though Nissan’s mistake was being turned around and blamed on my parents, as if they had done something wrong when they were simply following the process they were given. This situation caused a lot of stress and confusion for my parents. They understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism made things much harder than necessary. I truly hope management reviews this situation carefully and ensures other customers don’t have to go through something similar.

Jeff in the parts area let’s just say if you have blue eyes blonde hair. You will get serviced a lot faster with better deals. He’ll dig deep for that good deal. Don’t be brown skinned. Quick serve with a no deals just simple prices. Brain the manager will make it seem as if it’s not like that at all

I purchased a certified used 2023 Rogue in August from State Line Nissan. I regret it having to deal with them anymore. Nobody bothered to check the seat heater switch at purchase because it was August! They tell me now it’s over $800 plus tax. The car was only 1 1/2 years old, purchased “Certified Used” and a couple months after I purchased I have an $800 repair item that they won’t stand behind. I’ve had other equally frustrating issues with them. They seem to try to take advantage of their customers like me. I don’t care for the way they treat their customers.

Mike Tolbert in the sales department for State Line Nissan helps make purchasing a vehicle painless and even pleasant. I have purchased two vehicles through him and plan to purchase my third one from him when that time comes. Mike politely asks the right questions to make sure that you are purchasing the car you want, rather than the car a dealership wants to sell you. He will work at your pace and will very patiently go over different types of payment plans to make sure that you know your options and are comfortable with the one you ultimately select. He responds very quickly to phone calls and text messages and will work around your schedule for any in-person appointments. He will help arrange delivery for your vehicle if needed. He will give you a great trade-in value for your used car. I've had very positive experiences in general at State Line Nissan and people like Mike are a big part of that. Edit: Jeremy in the sales department at State Line Nissan will also make it an absolute breeze to get your title transfer paperwork completed if you are utilizing a trade-in to purchase a vehicle. Everyone I've had the opportunity to interact with thus far in the sales department is a class act and just genuinely friendly and helpful.

The service department here is beyond exceptional. I have a 2017 Rogue Sport SL w about 164k miles and over the summer it had an issue w the wiring harness. Brad and Dana were so helpful with my situation both financially and mechanically. They offered great solutions, offered assistance, and were exceptional in their communication. To Ed, Mike, and Jeremy...THANK YOU!!!! I came in Saturday, December 6th to buy my Nissan Rogue. Jeremy was very kind and went over everything with me (documents and financial stuff) and explained things clearly. He understood that I don't have experience buying cars, and helped me understand what everything meant before I signed the documents. He was super personable and made the experience enjoyable. Mike was an amazing salesman and answered all of our questions about my car. He is very good at what he does. He even helped us figure out the android auto on my car after we had already bought it and helped me set it up on my phone, and gave me a USB cord to use and keep, which I appreciated. Ed was so fun to work with, and willing to compromise. He knows how to make a deal where both sides are happy. He really listens, and isn't just in it for the money. We went to Mazda, Subaru, and Chevy dealerships prior to this one, and State Line Nissan was definitely the best out of all of them.
