I would recommend this shop to anyone needing some work done on a steering column. I was having an issue with my 05 ion not giving me my key back. I called and they looked at my car right away. Perry was very knowledgeable and explained everything to me when he called with the quote. The part took a day or two to get in and Perry had it fixed very quickly after the part came in. The price I paid was reasonable and exactly what he had quoted me. I will definitely come back if I need anything else done related to the steering column.

Key to my honda element had deformed my ignitions wafers. Perry and his son replaced the keys with new ones and rebuilt my ignition with no issues. Fixed the problem in 6 hours explained everything they were doing and cheaper by half of what the other guys were! Highly recommend! Again took my element in for similar issue took great care of me and charged me even less than previous time! Cannot say how much these guys are the shiznit!!!

My wife's car was broken into and attempted to be stolen, they tore apart her steering column, mashed up her ignition lock and broke her door lock. We called Steering Column Repair and they were able to order all of the parts based on photos we sent of the damage, and within 3 days could get the parts and were ready to work on it. We dealt with insurance headaches for a few days before we could take it in, insurance was fighting us on whether or not they would consider them in their network. Eventually we convinced them, and when we finally got her car into their hands, they turned it around and fixed it in a couple of hours, and said they already had planned out what they needed to do ahead of time. After all of the insurance issues and stress this caused us, we greatly appreciate how fast they got her car fixed and how well they communicated with us. Would highly recommend this business for this type of work!

Perry was awesome!! Knew I was in a tough situation and everything was priced fairly. My car was Hotwired and he had someone come to my apartment and fix it, then drove to his shop where he made more repairs. Service was timely and paid spectacular attention to detail.

Great Plains Auto worked with Steering Column for YEARS, this is how I found out about them. Great company and repairs are pretty quick once they have the parts! If it's just your steering column, I would avoid filing a claim and just pay out of pocket!
