I can’t begin to thank Jay for the wonderful customer service I got. Jay and his techs did an amazing, efficient, and correct job on my new truck! Had my transmission replaced in may for my truck and since then have had nothing but problems. Within 7000 miles I have had to take it back 4 times and on the 4th time the bolts were loose and the transmission was starting to fall out of the truck causing damage to the back of the motor. Many things were said to be the reason for the transmission falling out when it only could have been caused by the bolts in the transmission not being torqued properly according the multiple certified mechanics we took it to afterwords. Once they decided to fix the problem they replaced what had been damaged and I get the truck back and am told that it runs great and shouldn’t have any more issues, I pick it up and as soon as I leave the parking lot it is delayed when shifting, shifts rough, and the service 4x4 light turned on which I have never had issues with before and now I do after they replaced the transfer case. Within 7000 miles and 4 times at their shop the truck still doesn’t shift correctly and has caused nothing but problems and thousands of dollars in more damage. I will never bring anything to them again and I will not recommend them to anyone. The only reason they got the one star review was because 0 was not an option

I was forced to get my vehicle out of the shop, Robert made me finance the Remaining balance. once I get my vehicle back, I noticed the mounts were not installed the fluid was low and the front trim was not snapped in all the way which caused the trim to fly off. I mentioned this to Robert 5 minutes after I took my car out and he stated since it wasn’t there, we didn’t install them. That’s like saying I need new Lugnuts and only giving me four out of five because it was only four there. Robert stated that he would fix the trim and told me not to not take it anywhere far. I also mentioned that the transmission fluid was low and that it needs to be checked while running, and he assured me it needs to be off while checking it once I took it to the Nissan dealership I was informed my fluid was low Since it was not measured correctly. It’s been three months, I have left voicemails and I have not gotten no information Back. I am beyond mad and frustrated because $1200 for a radiator is ridiculous and I told him that The reason why I didn’t want to do it myself was because of the trim on the car. I am not good at removing body panels so I had “professionals” do it. exactly what I was worried about is what happened .I’m gonna have to purchase my own mounts and trim and reinstall it myself since they did a half ass job. I was charged $1200 for to replace the radiator and the job was not complete. Do not come here they will rip you off. Robert Only cares about business not his customers. Can’t wait for the owner to respond with some dumb ass bullshit on why they didn’t complete the job let’s hear it The front trim was never addressed. I have not received a single callback to get the new mountains installed. This company is a bunch of bullshit

I'm from Lincoln and the transmission went out of my 2014 Dodge Caravan in February, 2024 so I took it to AAMCO here in Lincoln. In late December I noticed some oil and some pink droplets on my garage floor. Since I was still under warranty, I went back to the local business again and lo and behold it was closed...out of business. So I made an appointment with Robert at the 6101 L St location in Omaha and took it in today (1/14/25). All the bays were busy, but since I had come all this way he got my van in for an inspection. To my surprise, the leaks were NOT the transmission! Robert showed me the oil was leaking from a oil cooler (?) at the top of the motor and the pink droplets was coolant coming from a leaking thermostat cover. He pointed out what needed to be fixed, topped off the coolant and sent me on my way. Yes, they could fix those faults, but it is inconvenient for me to come to Omaha so I'll have it fixed closed to my home. Not only is Robert the manager, but he is a great guy and has a great sense of humor considering he has to deal with a lot of folks everyday who are going to have to part with some bucks at most likely an inconvenient time. I recently had an exceptional experience with AAMCO that I feel compelled to share. After a challenging situation where a family member, unfortunately struggling with addiction, got hold of my van and added bad gas with water, things were a mess. To make matters worse, he lost both of my key fobs, leaving me unable to start the vehicle. When I brought my van to AAMCO, I was worried about the extent of the damage and the time it would take to fix everything. The shop was incredibly busy, with many cars waiting for service, but the team at AAMCO was dedicated and thorough. They spent a significant amount of time diagnosing the issues caused by the bad gas and the mishaps that followed. What truly impressed me was their commitment to ensuring my van was running perfectly before handing it back to me. As a senior citizen living alone, having reliable transportation is essential for me, and AAMCO understood that. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was in order, even when it would have been much easier to move on to quicker fixes. Without a doubt five stars for being Professionals, Great customer service, the Techs are every bit of that word. They know and will break it down real simple. The Mgr is on point. Robert and his crew have done a wonderful job on 2 of my cars. They did a clutch on my mustang 3 ish years ago and recently fixed my explorer's failing transmission. I didn't give this company one star because you worked on my vehicle. I gave one star for the poor customer service I received and for that I would never let anyone from this company work on my vehicle and yes I did get the work done by another auto care center with great customer service and great work thanks for your concern. wish your employee was as concerned when I came to your company maybe my review would have be different.

I had an amazing experience with Robert. He is very knowledgeable on many different things I asked him about, cost, time, keeping in touch. Called and was able to get me in same day and answer all my questions. As a woman I didn’t feel I was being given inappropriate quotes as some shops do. When I met him in person he was with a customer and was translating Spanish and I thought WOW this guy goes the extra mile. Overall great experience, I’ll be back.

Well I wish we could say that we had an amazing experience with Robert and one of their service texts but we cannot. Fact it was just the opposite almost nightmarish experience. I feel like we were told BS after BS from Robert and you couldn't get a word in edgewise unless if you just absolutely interrupted him then he kind of looked at your weird when he did that. Our first conversation with Robert was on the telephone called and asked for a price to replace a transmission in a 22 Silverado he told us at least $6,500. We said while we've already got a price from somewhere else for $5,000. He said I'll meet the price. Plus he said maybe you don't need a transmission let me check it out it won't cost you anything. We brought the truck to him and here's the kicker my wife is a small person so she literally rides up on the steering wheel with the seat as far forward as it can possibly go. We came by the shop that day a couple times, once in the afternoon and once after dark and we can see the truck had not been moved so we stopped and looked and the seat had not been moved. We contacted Robert the next morning, I told him we'd like to come pick up the truck. He gave us the story again about how much bad stuff was wrong with the truck and that it wouldn't be $5,000 it would be more. When we told him the seat had not even been moved the phone went silent then he just started rambling about all the other repair work had to be done. He said there was dozens of electrical problems in all kinds of other stuff. Wasn't a good ending. We told him we're on the way to get the vehicle we only live 5 minutes away and when we got there his service tech a rather large person with a beard and a ponytail said he has to pull the truck up to the front door and that Robert wants us to come in and have a conversation. As he was fighting his way to get in between the steering wheel and the seat. Because the seat had never been moved nobody had ever been in that vehicle. I told him absolutely not get out of the truck we're taking the truck and he refused, I said yes you're getting out of my truck right now and we are leaving. What the rude person he was. Very sarcastic with his comments he kept saying have a good day sir too many times to count. Very unprofessional. So we ended up getting our transmission done from certified transmission for $5k just like they said. No drama No lies No BS Absolutely no disrespect at all like we received from both Robert and his little service guy. My best advice to anybody thinking about using this company is think twice. Sid Dillon Chevy wanted $5,500 to do the transmission Certified transmission was $5,000 Robert and aamco wanted originally no less than $6,500 but said he was willing to meet certified transmission. But then the next day after we drop the truck off they wanted another $2,000 to fix all the other stuff they said was existing. Which certified never did say anything else was bad, because there was no other stuff they did the same test that aamco did and they said I'm not sure what to tell you but you don't need any of this stuff. There's nothing else wrong with your vehicle. Thanks Robert for your deception. And don't worry Robert I called the corporate office today and filed a complaint. Icahn Enterprises L.P
