It's hard to find a mechanic that is trustworthy and know that your repairs are done right the 1st time. That is exactly what you get when you come here work done right the 1st time and you can be assured that you want be taken advantage of . Honest, up front, repairs done right .π

I went to Stevens Auto for a second opinion on my new car. The trim had started to separate from the car and I was told by another auto body shop it was my fault because I must have hit or run over something causing the trim to be jolted loose. Stevens auto found a simple plastic pin, misshapen and not holding the trim, and they were able to fix that and reinstall and the trim fitted smoothly. I thanks Stevens for their help and going the extra mile.

Great diagnostic for my heating and evasive electrical issue on a vintage truck. Even had a hard to find part manufactured at great savings... very pleased. Truck drives better than it ever has!

This place is a gem in the pile of rocks of automatics world. Very thorough, willing to work with you, but won't lie to you about what is wrong with your vehicle. Like it or not. Honesty and helpful! That's a refreshing thing to see in an automotive shop these days.

Had a vibration in the wheel and i asked for a balance. That did not help and weight fell off a few miles later at high speed. Came back for a fix and they did, but still vibrating. Had another wheel balanced and another weight feel off. Not going back even for a fix.

I don't know anything about their actual "service", because the day I pulled in there (on a flat tire) they were locked up tighter than a drum! It was 1:00 in the afternoon, after the lunch hour would've been over, and I sat there waiting for SOMEONE to be there to help me! Needless to say, I waited until 2:00, and called numerous times, but NOTHING! Drove my car to the nearest Chevron station, yes on a FLAT, and they gave me FREE AIR!! Enough to get me to LES SHWAB to get some real service, a real tire, at a good price! Will never go to this place ever again! Undependable to say the least!

A very disorganized and lazy company. They don't get back to you promptly. After 2 days they still didn't diagnose my car and I had to take it elsewhere. I still had to pay $135 for diagnostics, even though they didnt diagnose it. He told me that $135 was for just the "electrical" side of things and that if he fully diagnosed the mechanical issues it would've actually costed more. What? The front desk guy isn't friendly at all. I am guessing he was the owner. As a business owner, you should be friendly and personable but this guy was everything but. There is hardly any parking as it is clustered with old cars. Take your car somewhere else. Edit**************** Steven or whatever your name is, I specifically asked you to diagnose the EPS light signal and the turn signals. You took forever to do anything even though I had made an appointment. Then when I called to ask what the diagnosis was, you had all these weird excuses as to why you hadn't diagnosed the mechanical issues. You said you were going to order a part for a $800 sensor that had nothing to do with the reason I initially came for. I was never questioning my other auto guys. I loved those guys! I went to you because they went out of business. They would've handled everything much differently than you have and it is unfortunate that they are no longer available.

I went in for an alignment problem. They did a vehicle inspection and adjusted a belt for a total of $145. Took them about an hour. I'm not an expert mechanic, but I would say they over-charge as many other car repair places do.... very frustrating For this reason I won't be coming back even though they were very nice.

Went in to get snow tires put on wheels I just purchased and was charged $87.00. They didn't even give me a discount for not having to remove and reinstall the wheel on the car.I brought in 4 wheels and 4 tires off the car just to have the tires mounted. Less Swab removed the tires off the car and reinstalled them with the snow tires the season before for $40.00. This place is a total rip off. They even told me it would be done in an hour. I came back 3 hours later and still had to wait.

I've been going to Stevens Auto Service for years so they know me and my cars. Very important. Recently I noted one of my vehicle's battery was on its last leg. So I got in within 30 minutes, had the battery checked and replaced within a hour! You think I'm going over The I5 bridge to get service where I bought the car? No way! There's nothing over there I can't get here without the traffic hassle.

Stevens has always been helpful and never taken advantage of our family. They are reasonable and fair.. One time we took our truck in because my husband thought it may need a front end rebuild. They took it totally apart and called us to say that everything was fine and nothing needed replacing. After, they put it all back together they didn't charge us a dime. When my husband doesn't have the time/space to work on our own cars we always go to Stevens. Thank you for being an honest business!!!

Not a US Veteran or US service member friendly business. Years ago I took my classic MG midget into them for a muffler addition and re-hooking my engine fan back up. I didn't hear for them for two weeks. I called them for quote price. Troy's Stevens wife at the time (the one who looks like a toothy dumb Wrestler on crack) told me the cost to repair my car was $3100 and if I did not pay it they were going to keep my car. I told her I did not OK $3100. She told me that she was a "private investigator" and then if I didn't pay them the $3100 they were going to ruin my reputation. I laughed at her threat and I told her that extorting of US military officer is against the law. I called the police and Washington state attorney generals office. I got my car back and they got their money. Well folks, they're nothing but a bunch of low life crooks. Lying, extortion, and manipulation is their main dish.

Still stranded and very disappointed. Went in for a preventative maintenance and upkeep. The car had no major issues before entrusted to Stevens Auto. After their service, the car is in terrible shape. When I brought the car back I was told by Troy that he would need an additional $500 to fix these new issues that had not existed until they worked on it. Sincere disappointed and disheartened by this seemingly reputable business, which has cost me my livelihood.

I am from Texas and was buying a vehicle off of Ebay in Vancouver but wanted to get it inspected before I pulled the trigger. For $90.00 they went through every system, including checking the oil in the differential, measuring the brake pads, rolling windows up and down, and working every system on the truck. They also took it on a test drive and let me know how it performed in all pf the important aspects, I was blown away by how extensive their inspection was. Great guys. Highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a good place to take your auto. They were REAL, HONEST, PEOPLE. my blower motor for my fan stopped working. They had it diagnosed, part on hand and fixed very quickly! It is sad to see how some folks will leave such poor feedback just because they have an expectation based in narrow viewpoints. It is expensive to own a business, have modern tools and equipment, have skilled and educated technicians, not to mention keeping the lights on.. So, ask yourself, what is your time worth? And how much of that time is saved by having a knowledgeable person or company do something for you? Look beyond your nose people.. Thank you Stevens Auto, a Satisfied customer

Troy Stevens has great service at very fair prices. I've gone there to have minor things looked at, as well as major work done. I've compared service and pricing to other shops, but after taking my vehicles there (I drive for a living), and my wife's car - I will probably go no where else now. When you depend on your vehicle to make a living, you find someone who is dependable, fair and honest. That's what has kept me coming back.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Charged 1300$ for an alternator and I picked my car up but it wouldnβt start and they fixed nothing but for more money they could fix it? No thanks! Absolutely scamming people

I am considering purchasing a Fiat soon. I walked right in and asked a few questions that Troy seemed happy to answer. I will be taking my new ride for an inspection there. I'll write another review after that. I just wanted to share that Troy made me feel okay to ask questions up front. The shop dog however gave me quite a start. (I was assured that he was harmless)

Troy is a good honest guy that will take care of all your auto needs. He helped me with my Lexus and worked around my time constraints as I was traveling through Vancouver and was needing to reach my destination. Thanks Troy.

We took our red 2007 mazda RX8 to this place because we were having transmission/clutch issues. After a couple weeks, we should have known when they couldn't even figure out how to start the car correctly without flooding it, that we should have taken the car somewhere else. You can't start a rotary motor. Move it ten feet and turn it off, then restart it because it will flood if you keep doing that without revving it to use the gas left in it. Anyway, we got the car back, and since it's just our fun car, we don't drive often, not even 1000 miles, it stopped shifting . We called them and it was longer than a year so he said no warranty and even though the mileage hadn't reached the warranty max he said it would cost me over 2 grand to look at because there was no way they put it in wrong , that it was impossible. He said if the parts are bad, he can try the manufacturer, but most likely, it would have to be done all over again, and it was something we did. I called him twice over the period that the car would not work. He never once said he'd look at it, and if it was his fault, repair it. Never once. He was so adamant that there was no way it was his fault. There was no way I was going back to him to pay for everything all new again . When I knew in my head, we had not driven this car rough over the mileage of the warranty. It just wasn't right for him to say that no matter what was wrong, I was gonna have to pay over 2 grand regardless. So I took it over by the air academy on millplain. I told this guy what our problem was that we just had it all replaced with new clutch and everything, and he was very surprised that Steve wouldn't back his work or even offer. So I let this certified mechanic at Freddy's work on my car and guess what. He only had to adjust the fork on the clutch and guess what. It runs great. Don't trust Steve's automotive . He was very rude to us and made us feel like we were stupid and he was God of cars. Well, Steve's automotive, you made a mistake, and you're not perfect. I hope you read this and maybe change your attitude towards your customers. It would be real nice if you tried to make this right I know Freddy could verify your shop made the mistake that his shop fixed.
