I took my 2006 Toyota Prius to Steve after my traction battery failed. He repaired the battery at an incredibly fair price, and he saved me thousands of dollars compared to replacing the battery at a dealership. I will continue to take my car to Steve's for any repair or inspection.

I am from michigan and was visiting family on spring break near Lancaster when my Navigator started acting up. My dad told me it wasn’t safe to drive home and I needed to get it fixed! I was hoping to leave with in a day and a half...so not much time!! I’m SO thankful I came across Steve! He went above an beyond taking my truck last min, and making it priority so I could head home on time! Very fair price and great service! Steve and his guys are great! I'm from Pittsburgh and was visiting in Lancaster when my 04 GLI started to struggle to start. It was showing the ECP light on the dash at times as well. I called many shops and none could take me on short notice. Steve said he could at the very least diagnose the issue for me. He went above and beyond and not only diagnosed, but fixed the issue in the same day. All on short notice and a full shop. He really saved me! Highly recommend taking your car here. Extremely friendly and fairly priced.

I called Steve on a Saturday, not realizing that it was outside of his normal hours. My car was dead and constantly needed jumped to start. I had gotten a previous repair done, but that shop told me that my battery was fine. It only took about five days before it started hesitating to start. Steve took my car in after hours to look at it. Being that he specializes in electrical work, he was able to tell right off the bat that I needed a new battery. He did several tests to confirm, as he wanted to make sure he wasn't changing the battery for nothing. He tested for drains, he tested the overall charge, and he was very open and transparent throughout the entire process. He set me up with a new battery and my car has been running beautifully ever since.

Mr Steve over charged me a total of $745.97 from $499 for a piece of heating hose that broke. His mechanic was cutting corners and cut the hose off instead of removing the clamps, Causing more damages and charging me for his mechanic’s mistakes. Never connecting the new hose causing the engine to continuously overheat after paying $745.97. All Mr. Steve could say was that he was sorry and that I have two free oil changes on him worth $80 each.

Steve’s Automotive Technology went above and beyond to inspect my vehicle. I called last minute not expecting them to have openings on the same day, but by chance they had the time to not only look at it, but complete the inspection. Stickers were placed on my vehicle a few minutes after hours, and they zip tied my fender which was haphazardly damaged. Fair and reasonable. Does what you need done at a great price. Steve and his staff are friendly and helpful. The alternator went out in my wife’s car and they were able to fix it the next day for nearly half of what the dealer wanted for the same job. We get all our inspection work done there. If you don't feel like reading a full detailed review, I'm just going to leave the sentence "Steve is the man" and you can just take my word for it. But for those of you who care about detail, I've been seeing the same mechanic for the past 10 years but he does not like working on hybrid vehicles. I took my car into Steve simply to just have a diagnostic run so I could plan out how much I need to spend on fixing my car. From previous scans of my cars engine issues and my own online research it was a possibility that I would either have to sell my car or spend $5,000 replacing my battery. Because of Steve's knowledge of hybrid vehicles I ended up not having to resort to going to the dealer and spend thousands of dollars that I did not need to. Literally having a diagnostic fee and about an hour of my time taken up and my car is running perfectly fine now.

It's VERY hard to find a decent car garage in Lancaster; I have been going to Steve's since 2022, and it's been the BEST choice I ever made for my car! Their mechanics are knowledgeable, can provide explanations, and will even give you honest opinions. I love that they are about GOOD business, and NOT making money off of people and ripping them off. I have never left their garage feeling uncomfortable or unsure about a car repair, which is a first for me! I will continue taking my care there, and have even recommended them to family and friends looking for a decnt garage to go to. Thank you Steve's PLEASE keep doing what you're doing because it's rare in Lancaster to have a good garage that is affordable, honest, provides good customer service, honors their client appointments (which us HUGE for me), and has good mechanics that know what they're doing and can provide a very detailed explanation!

I had an emergency while vacationing in Lancaster. Steve's was highly recommended for expertise and honesty, so I called. I was initially told that they were all booked for that day but would fit me in on the next day. When I explained that I was from out of town and needed to leave Lancaster that night, they immediately put me in, and they stayed TWO HOURS AFTER REGULAR CLOSING TIME to get me on my way. And remember, this is knowing that I don't live in Lancaster and likely will never need their services again.
