I just spoke with Corey, about 30 min till they closed, to get a car there for repairs at a different time. Unfortunately for me, Corey was just about to leave the shop. Unfortunately for him, that's not how a business is ran. Corey should have realised that even though he couldn't work on it at the time, but he could get to it another time. But, since he was in such a hurry to leave, he didn't want our business. So, I will return the favor and not give him our business. Don't waste your time here, just like I have.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! One word- CROOKED. My dad is on a fixed income and these people tried to get him after he took his car apart. Original quote more than DOUBLED AFTER they had the car apart. So then we had to have it towed a SECOND time and my 70 year old Dad had to fix it in 20 degree weather himself. PITIFUL TERRIBLE SERVICE. This place should not even be in business.

Here is my Experience with this company, I recently found out my truck's Slave cylinder went bad, I had it towed to this company I told them what I thought it was and for them to see if it was the part mentioned that was bad , also asked them while in there to check my clutch. The slave cylinder on my Truck is inside the transmission . I get a call back from them saying it is the slave cylinder and my clutch needs replaced also . I continued with the conversation with these guys and the cost, The cost was $100.00 more then other local shop's in the area . I went for the repair of the slave cyl and told him the clutch would have to wait. A day later my truck was ready . Being I don't drive my truck due to company vehicle I decided to drive my truck nearly for the 20th time since owned it , nearly 40 miles later I get a noise in my transmission . park it at home and pull my drain plug to the transmission and no fluid drips out, I call these guys asking them to look at it , stating that I just had work done by them to where the noise is coming from, his reply yes . I take back to them. He listened to it and said I will check it out . I get a phone call saying it's the Front bearings of the transmission $2800.00 will be the cost, I continued to talk to him and his reply to my question ,If you want me to make sure, but I'm pretty sure that's what it is it will cost you $400.00 to make sure, But right now your cost is only $55.00 .I get my truck home and the transmission fluid was at the right level. This company is a bad choice for auto repair . Not only do I suggest not going there I highly suggest telling all the locals of their shady Ethics .

I chose this place because it was local, they use Napa in the online advertisement and because they actually answered their phone during business hours. Wow, a waste of time and huge disappointment. The diagnostic service was nothing less than insanely put. The same guy who had answered the phone the two times I called told me, "there's no way of knowing" how many times, in how many ways??? I was out of town with trailer problems. I called them and they told me to bring it in so they could take a look at it. I did, they replace the axle in my trailer and had me back on the road in a few hours. Very nice and friendly guys. Extremely helpful. If I ever have car problems and I'm in the Indianapolis area, I know where I'm bringing my car. Thanks guys.

The owner Mr. Strange was rude, disrespectful and tried to more than double the bill on a simple gasket change totalling over $1,400.00. He refused to do the work when he couldn't explain why we needed this extra work when asked why. Absolute terrible place we have to have the car towed and fixed eslewhere. Crooked and manipulative are the best words. Please do yourslef a favor and do not use this shop both him and his son are beyond disrespectful and rude as can be.

Everyone there is very nice and friendly. But I took my car there once and they broke the door handle and just placed it back life it i wouldn't notice, I did not say anything because the car was really old and really did not care. I bought another car explained to them what it was doing and they told me to bring it the next morning and they would check it. They literally only checked one thing (i was there less than 5 minutes) and told me it was the transmission and they couldn't do anything about it. I took my car somewhere else and it wasn't the transmission.

I brought in a used vehicle I was looking at buying. They test drove the vehicle, put it on a lift and went through everything. They pointed out the areas of concern (nothing major). Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. They even let me under the car while on the lift and pointed out what they saw. I have been through auto mechanic training and worked on my own vehicle for years and they knew what they were talking about and made great observations. I bought the vehicle. Thanks Strange's Garage for your help and professional opinion on my purchase. If I lived in Indy they would be my new mechanic shop but I live an hour south of Indy.

I was in town for a few days visiting friends , im from NY , and I broke down on the highway, scared and worried, these guys came and found my car and took my car in even though they were busy with other vehicles… amazing people!! I would recommend this garage to in and out of towners !!! They even told me to call them back in case I need them before I head home ! I thank god for strange’s garage!!! And they did not overcharge either !!!!!
