Tony Castillo’s exceptional assistance and such remarkable kindness made my first-time Subaru (and first-time ever new car!) purchase an absolute dream of an experience this weekend, from start to finish! I still can't believe how incredibly generous he was with his time, listening and completely understanding exactly what I needed, and with never even a moment's pressure, helping guide me through all the different models and options to settle upon what ended up being the perfect decision for me (a beautiful 2026 Subaru Forester, with all the extra safety options I needed), and I truly cannot recommend him enough, and also Keith Mayers (who was a complete pleasure to meet and work with as well!), and the entire team at Subaru of Portland! It's funny to think how nervous I initially was about buying a new car, but from the very first call, Tony made me feel completely at ease, and his warmth, compassion, expertise, authenticity, and all-around realness made what could have been an intimidating experience for me a completely positive one instead! And the joy and confidence I experienced purchasing my Subaru from Tony and Keith, and how very kind and welcoming they both were to me through the whole experience, is something I will never forget. Unbelievably bad experience today. Their service department refuses to pick up a phone. I still have a few basic questions that their AI bot can’t help with. I’ve left 3 voicemails since early this morning, every couple hours when I still haven’t heard back. I finally called their receptionist at the dealership and asked to talk to a real person and not be put through to the AI bot. I explained that I’ve been trying to ask some basic questions all day. She then immediately transferred me to the AI bot. When I called back immediately- suddenly the receptionist wasn’t taking calls. - Real professional… I also tried the chat bot on their website which was equally useless. Requested call backs there. The phone numbers it provided me with to call were all disconnected. I’ve never seen a company work so hard to turn away business. This is insane. Nick’s auto on Mcglouglin and Everette Auto right across the river were happy to take my calls and get my business. Good luck treating your customers like trash subaru. I’m done trying to

I can't thank Ariana and the whole sales team enough for getting me into my new Crosstrek. Ariana worked with me for over 6 months through a very tough situation. She was amazing through the whole process. The whole sales team worked with me on a very difficult issue with the trade in and we finally got through it. They are all awesome! Barb in service was also great in helping me get my hitch receiver installed. If you are looking at buying a new Subaru, definitely go see Ariana and Subaru of Portland.

I had a really good experience at Subaru of Portland. Everyone I worked with, from sales through finance (Robert/Keith) made it painless, and with no pressure. Everything was explained clearly and it all went smoothly. And to my surprise 3.5 hours from selection, test drive, to signing off. Two days later, I purchased some add-ons and the parts arrived quickly, and service was scheduled within 2 hours of approving the estimate. Barb in service took great care of me and my Crosstrek! My son bought his first car today! YAY! It was the best experience ever. Papa is AMAZING. I can't say enough about his kindness, patience, and overall presence. Every step of the process was ideal. He even put a bow on my son's sweet used Crosstrek. Leo lost his dad suddenly in July, and the serendipity of having Papa being who we worked was nothing short magical. We drove from Central Oregon to buy one of the few remaining 2025 Outback Wilderness on their lot. Brian Manning was our sales rep, we negotiated some over the phone and he held the car for us for the day so we had time to drive up there. Ariana was the first person to reach out to me after I inquired online, and she was wonderful to work with—very personable and easy to talk to. Took my car in for a programming recall and to ask about a problem with my steering wheel. The steering wheel fell in the grey area of being covered under the warranty and they weren’t going to cover it but Kfir fought for it to be replaced for free and they were able to do it under a good will policy. He put the order in for the part, they were able to fix it, and he was super understanding/flexible of my work schedule for when I was able to pick it up and return the loaner car. Shoutout Kfir for all your help getting my car taken care of, you’re awesome and I appreciate you! Very happy to have my car back 😅

From the drive in to the drive out, this was a 5 star experience! I brought my dog with me and everyone was pleased to see him and greeted him! The customer lounge has 2 dog beds, water bowls, and even a dog washing station! There were snacks and coffee for humans too! The estimate was clear and the service was very quick! Edit: within a week Subaru reached out to me and they resolved my concerns in a timely manner. Had a lot of service here and things have been generally good not great. This time had to wait 3-4 weeks for service to be complete and my car was returned much dirtier than when I dropped it off and someone hit something with my car because there was a scuff on the front fender. I was able to buff it out at home pretty quickly but I was pretty disappointed to see my car looking so bad, inside and out, when I was really looking forward to getting it back for so long. My car isn't anything too special but I take good care of it and I was expecting a higher level of care

One of the worst car buying experiences here. When I bought my sti brand new from here the sales people were horrible! I was already pre approved and wanted to test drive a sti and the sales guy literally put a blank piece of paper on the table and said to sign it that I was gonna buy the car. It was so embarrassing, I should have left then. Lucky for them I wanted the car and was gonna get it regardless but would never buy another car from here again.

We'd been shopping around for about a month and were so tired of all the crazy sales tactics/mind games other dealers tried on us. We ended up walking out of four dealers total. When we walked into Subaru of Portland, it was a totally difference vibe. We felt immediately welcomed, were never pressured, and ended up leaving with the car we wanted at a great price. Biggest perks: they listened to us, they didn't pressure us, they were sensitive to our needs/boundaries. Everyone was super nice – like one big family over there.
