I'm a customer, I've referred my mom, and each time we have went they took care of us. They are fast, friendly, no frills, and don't waste time getting your vehicle in and out. The most important piece is they are very reasonable. I switched my mechanic and I have not looked back.

Was recommended to Sumner's by my dad. Been going to Sumner's for over ten years now. It's the only mechanic I trust. Anytime I go there I know that my car will be taken care of. The people there are great. They're nice, honest, down to earth, and they always show genuine care and concern. The prices are reasonable. I alway come out of there a happy customer. Service like this is rare now days. I recommend Sumner's 100%. Best mechanic I've ever been to.

Honest, Friendly, and Professional Service I brought my 14-year-old car in for a repair estimate, and Truman’s team went above and beyond. They thoroughly inspected the vehicle, clearly explained the issues, and gave me a detailed breakdown of the costs. When I decided not to go through with the repairs, I asked what the estimate would cost—and Truman simply said, “No charge.” That kind of honesty and customer care is rare these days. It’s refreshing to find a shop that values people over profit. I’ll definitely be coming back for future service, and I’ll be recommending them to friends and family. Sumner Auto is a reliable and fair auto shop. As a woman, it can be hard to find a shop where they treat you like a reasonable human who can understand the mechanics of your own vehicle. They will walk you out to your car and show you what they see, and let you make an informed decision. And they offer fair and reasonable pricing. I have never felt pressured to get something done I don’t need, and they give me options on parts that will safely meet my needs but not break the bank. I can always get the car in within a couple days, and device is quick. Also, Truman is awesome.

Dropped my truck off on a Wednesday, within an hour and half of dropping off, they called me and told me what was wrong with it and made sure I was okay with the price before doing any physical work to it. They ordered the parts for me, and got the job done was sooner than I had expected! Great customer service and great work! The guy at the front desk, i believe his name was Truman, he was great to talk to! Super nice guy! Will 100% becoming back next time I need work done!

We are having a horrible time with the manufacturer and getting the right parts for our car BUT, Sumner is doing everything they can to help us and make it right! Staying in constant communication and trying to get our vehicle fixed the RIGHT way! We have also taken our cars there for years to get oil changes and regular maintenance. My partner and I moved to Cincinnati almost 3 years ago, now, and we've used Sumner since then. They have done everything from oil changes to helping assess a used vehicle before purchase. For my girlies out there, they are extremely respectful and do a good job of not assuming that because you're a women you don't know cars. Between my partner (male) and I, I am the car person, and when I told Sumner Auto Care that, they didn't bat an eyelash or speak down to me. On several occasions, we have taken our vehicle in for a weird noise or broken horn. On the noise concern, they weren't able to find anything, and when I asked what I owed them, they said nothing. I believe it was Brandon who even joked "listen, if I could charge you for something, I would, but there's nothing to fix." I assumed they would charge for just looking at the car, but they didn't. On my most recent trip, my horn had stopped working seemingly out of nowhere - they got in and found I was missing the sparkplug that allowed the horn to work. So they put a new one in and when I asked how much I owed them, they said just to leave them a review and they'd call it good. I have continually been impressed with how friendly, welcoming, and accepting Sumner is. Truman is the main desk person, and he treats me like his own niece. He walks me through each repair without patronizing me, is realistic about the cost verses quality of something, and gives sound advice about what to look out for and how much of a priority each repair is. I can't think of any reason not to go to Sumner - They do great work and have the interpersonal skills to go with it.

I have gotten my brakes replaced once and oil changed twice at Sumners for my 2019 Hyundai Elantra. It is a frustrating car with many problems, and they have always been very honest with me about what needs fixed and what doesn't with my limited budget. The oil changes are cheaper than the chain places like Valvoline, and they seem to do more of a check of everything on your car. I would highly recommend coming here for not only your regular oil changes, but also any maintenance that needs done. Very trustworthy, very friendly, very affordable. I will not be going anywhere else unless I move out of town. They asked me to leave a review, which I typically do not, but felt like others should know that this is a reputable business.
