I can’t thank this shop enough for how they handled my situation. I was traveling from out of town and had a mechanical issue pop up on my way home. Steve was absolutely fantastic — he coordinated everything, kept me updated the whole time, and made sure the process was completely stress-free. Their team was friendly, attentive, and communicated clearly about what needed to be done. Best of all, they had all the repairs completed in under 5 hours, so I could get back on the road the same day. Outstanding service — highly recommend!

I've been to Sun Auto twice now, two different locations (no particular reason for the different locations) and both locations have been amazing. Even when my warranty ends I plan on going back to them if something happens (hopefully nothing does though). I've even mentioned them to my son, my coworker, and my mother. They've been nothing shy of super helpful to me, kind even when I'm freaking out bc my car is acting up over and over, and have fit me in last minute. I can't thank them enough, truly.

I have been taking advantage of by many Mechanics and I was starting to lose my faith in humanity until I went to Sun auto. They were so kind and informative. I don’t know much about cars, but they were willing to show me what was wrong and how they were gonna fix it and explain it and layman terms. They also helped me apply for credit to help cover the cost because it was an expense I was not expecting. I am so grateful to the Mechanics at Sun auto words cannot explain the gratitude that I feel for them. I will forever be a customer of theirs . My car is literally running better than the day I got it.

Steve is always informative and a big help with suggesting any possible future service I may need or things they found while doing there inspections. I had no idea they were in San Antonio, but I have used them in Georgetown, and they were really good there too. They must hire carefully because it seems like a very competitive auto repair shop that want to retain customers.

Recently my older F-150 truck had two separate repair issues. I used Sun Auto on Huebner for both repairs. I received excellent repair service at what I considered to be a reasonable price. I greatly appreciated that for both repair visits, I was able to retrieve my repaired vehicle the same day that I took it in. I primarily worked with Steve at the front counter, and Steve has been spectacular at explaining each repair issue. I have also worked with Richard and Jesse in the front, and they were super, too. This morning I dropped off my daughter’s car at Sun to have several issues repaired. Steve and all at Sun provided me a great value to my repair experiences, and I really appreciate Sun’s respect of my personal time by providing me same-day repair services.

I took my vehicle into this place due to the fact that I couldn't pinpoint the issue myself since I usually work on mine and my family's vehicles, and ended up paying for a whole different issue due to the fact that they OVER pressurized my vehicle upon checking it, $1,000.00 LATER I'm fixing an issue I didn't even have upon taking it in.... $1,600.00 to fix an issue that wasn't even a PROBLEM before taking it in..... I understand "companies gotta make money where they can" but coming from a family who's living paycheck to paycheck ESPECIALLY in these day's, that just ain't right!!! Customer service was great YALL DOING YOUR JOB 💯 But giving people the runaround and causing MORE damage to my vehicle is completely unacceptable!!! This company will make sure you PAY MORE than you actually need to!

I came in for an oil change once and wont go anywhere else now. The Manager and staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. They always run a routine inspection when I’ve taken my vehicle in and if theres anything they find or if they see something that may potentially become an issue in the future they take photos and explain everything very thoroughly and in a way someone like myself (who isn’t very familiar with auto mechanic lingo) understands. There’s never any pressure to purchase or that “upsell gimmick” that I’ve experienced at a bunch of auto shops. However, if I’m going to get any maintenance done on my vehicle, I won’t take it anywhere but here. Thank you to Richard and the Sun Auto team for always taking care of my vehicles needs and taking the stress out of vehicle maintenance. 👍

Seems sun auto just post good reviews because I never saw mine,approximately 6 months ago I took my chevy suburban to sun auto on wurzbach rd the crew there had it for two days the called me and told me they couldn't find the problem and advised me to take it to the other sun auto on huebner rd ,they then told me that in order for them evaluate the problem they would have to remove the left valve cover ,and that would cost 795.00 to diagnose the problem, when they didn't do anything to it they told me I would need a new engine and that would cost 12,000.00 I then took it to another shop who didn't charge me anything and sent me to a transmission shop who fixed the problem for 1,200. 00 and has been running awesome since,so for those of you who don't good mechanics sun auto is good, and I'm sure this won't be posted because sun auto only post good reviews

I am very pleased with the care that Sun Auto gave to my vehicle. Sometimes things require the easiest fix. My vehicle was having issues due to low voltage and a battery change took care of the problem. Thank you to the service manager Roel and the technician for doing an awesome job. I would recommend Sun Auto because they don't quit until they have diagnosed the problem and come up with the proper fix. Thank you very much.

The front desk workers are very helpful and Consistently Gave me updates about my car every time I asked. They were very respectful and extremely nice. The worker that did work on my vehicle, I believe accidentally broke Ignition switch. He did not make anybody aware, but I immediately went back and showed the piece that was broken to the front desk. Front desk Workers offered a free oil change next time on them & apologized profusely as well. I would still highly recommend.
