I haven't met these people personally, but they took care of my son's car. They really helped him out when he was in a bad spot. You don't find many people these days willing to go above and beyond, but they sure did! I called to make a payment over the phone and the lady I talked to was so nice, and professional. If I'm ever in the San Antonio area and have an issue with my car this is the first place I'm heading! If I'm ever there for anything I'm making it a point to stop in to meet these awesome people, and to thank them personally!

Carlos Guerra is bad business! I took my car there in sept 2012 and Carlos(owner) took a few months to realize it needs a new motor.. Being it was $3,500 i wasn't able to fix it at the time so Carlos told me to leave the car there in the back until I could fix it.. I would go by and take him and his workers lunch & beer in showing my appreciation for letting me keep my car there.. In Jan 2013 Carlos call my bank and realized I was behind on my payments so he typed a bill of $9,800.. $3,500 new motor that it doesn't have, $1000 for work he never did and $5,300 in storage fees.. He was hoping my car got repossessed and he could make some money off the bank little did he know my payments were up to date when he typed up a fake lien.. When I tired to get my car he said he had to speak to his attorney about storage fees on my still broken car.. I didn't hear from Carlos for months until he sent one of my co-workers to inform me he wanted to give me my car.. Well needless to say I went to speak to him and he acted like my best friend.. He said he would call me that night and work something out for me.. Well Carlos called that night and said $5,400.. They only reason Carlos is trying to work a deal with me is because my lien holder told him he cannot file a lien on my car because he hasn't touched it.. I just want my car back.. Be careful Carlos is bad business..

Take a look at all of the junk cars parked in the lot in front and back. How did all of those cars get there? Do you really want your car to become one of them? I was fortunate to get my car back after paying over $1000, however it still did not run properly and I had to have it towed to another shop. The owner/Carlos kept asking me if I wanted to sell the car & kept putting me off saying he had not gotten to it or it had another issue. My car had hail damage and scrapes due to being left outside, when I was promised it would be protected in the garage. Carlos is a nice guy, but he does not do what he promises. Trust me do not take your car to Lextoy!

This small shop located just behind McDonald's is the hidden gem of the city. Carlos has taken care of my cars for the last (2) years with all my regular maintenance requirements. Carlos, the owner, is very kind and is extremely helpful with your car care and any concerns/questions you may have. Honest people are extremely hard to locate these days, but I strongly suggest stopping in should you need a professional opinion or service completed. Thanks a million Carlos!

Long overdue review for Carlos. I was introduced to him back in 2013 when I was in a bind, literally! My vehicle was at work and decided to not start up. Initially I thought it was just a dead battery so I called AAA for service. The service guy went above and beyond to check my car and informed me that the starter was out. At the time I was down on my luck and money was extremely tight. A client of mine referred me to Carlos at Lextoy Auto. To be fair I did call 3-5 spots to get quotes and also see if they could work me in to avoid paying for a rental. Carlos not only beat everyone’s prices but squeezed me in last minute. I have since gotten a different car but the car Carlos worked on is still running like a champ! My neighbor bought it for her college bound daughter. Years later I needed a timing belt and Carlos really took care of me yet again. Then a couple of months ago my cars check engine light came on and acted really crazy. He was so honest to reset my light and told me to just monitor it. Well this past weekend the engine light came on again and I wasn’t going to take any chances! Carlos offered to just reset it again but I wanted the repairs done for peace of mind. He was so accommodating he got me in and out the same day and even dropped off my car when it was finished. To top it off the price ended up being less than he’d originally quoted. This really was great news after an unexpected expense right before the holidays. I’ll always use Carlos as long as I’m here and he’s still in service. I tell everyone what a great service he provides and he’s extremely fair with his prices. Thank you, Carlos!!!

my '08 Camry was misfiring and had sat up a long time from previous owner. I told him go through this car like it was yours. He did. he tuned it up, changed oil, replaced a motor mount and other things. Don't let the number of cars sitting around the place worry you. Price was reasonable, turnaround was fast, just a day and 1/2. Carlos KNOWS Toyotas, is trustworthy, reasonable, quick, and as a bonus is very friendly and upbeat. What else do you want in a mechanic?

I met Carlos in 1998 and he has never changed. Always honest and do his best to make a lousy running vehicle into something great. My broke down FORD ran for over 100,000 miles after Carlos worked on it. I surely believe Carlos is the reason I have over 300,000 miles now.👍

LexToy is the best! Carlos has decades of professional experience and expertise with Lexus,Toyota,All German, and Domestic! His prices are much much much less than the dealer and he really cares! My brakes just went out suddenly and luckily I it was my day off. Initially he told me Friday but I told him they are fading fast. He told me to get to LexToy and he had me pull right in! And the best part he is right by 210 Ceviche so I can enjoy a margarita and some ceviche while I wait! Thank You Carlos!

Carlos is the most honest and fair mechanic I have ever met! I met him years ago when I had an older Lexus and since then keep coming back with my various vehicles. His recommendations and prices are always reasonable. This is not a big shop so do not expect dealership coffee machines with loaners. Not a large staff so you do need to be patient and have realistic expectations. I always wait and arrange some time off to bring our cars in for maintenance because it’s worth the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Carlos is absolutely the best! I found his shop in 2016 or 2017 when I thought something was seriously wrong with my vehicle. It turned out, nothing was wrong with it. There was a loose piece underneath causing the loud noise when I would drive around and Carlos was able to help me with that. He also did some work on a friend's car for her, as well. My friend was with me when I first met him. Prior to meeting him, I had messed up my front bumper. Carlos was able to help me get it fixed up like new for a very fair price. Which I greatly appreciated. Since then, he has taken excellent care of myself and family's vehicles over the years. He and his crew are all wonderful, kind and hard working. I definitely recommend Lextoy for all of your vehicle's needs. Carlos is kind, fair very knowledgeable and has great connections! You can't go wrong at Lextoy!
