I can't express enough my gratitude for the care I received this morning when it was raining pigs and chickens and my wiper blade on my driver's side suddenly broke! I was out there in the rain, trying to fix this thing, not knowing it was broken and I was literally soaked down to the bone. When I told him I accidentally left my wallet at work (in Boerne no less), he replaced my wiper and told me not to worry about it. Nobody does that these days and I can't thank him enough for helping me this morning! I'd like to swing by and pay him for the wiper!!

Not trustworthy!!!! Purchased a battery here two years ago and came out to it dead this morning. Ernest checked it and LIED!!! Said it was all good it must have been MY fault. I went to AutoZone and they said its a BAD battery!!! These guys are scumbags! They will rip you off!! Do not trust!!

The service was good but the billing can surprise you. I got charged $50 for coolant. Couldn't get any more info. The best coolants go for $20. And their labor is expensive and unclear.

Very nice staff and clean garage. The men I dealt with were very helpful. However, I had to come back twice for my issue: overheating car/ leaking coolant. Ultimately the issue was resolved, but it made me 2hrs late for work one day. Also, their estimate for fixing my A/C which was $800+ seemed a bit too high so I didn’t take them up on it.

So I took my car to the shop. Spoke with John who is supposed to be the lead mechanic. And honestly I felt like I was a burden. It was as though he didn’t want to hear me explain what was wrong with my car. And I felt rushed. I understand these guys have work to do, but I believe in treating the customers with respect. Anyways, my car wasn’t starting and it was clearly an electrical issue. John assured me that it couldn’t be that and that he would take a look at the throttle for some reason. I came back the next day and was charged $100 for him to clean my throttle. He said that there should be no issues. Literally hours later my car shut off again while driving. I went to another mechanic and all he did was clean my batteries terminals. Charged $30. And my car is running great. No more issues. Save your money and go to an honest and courteous mechanic! I went with Cruzrs Auto Mechanic!

I'm so happy with my experience here - I got my oil changed at another business and they tried to scare me saying my car was in "critical condition" and I came to colony car care to get a check up and see if there were any issues that needed my attention. Went here to get a diagnosis on my vehicle. Turns out the motor was bad and they do not replace motors. But, John was very knowledgeable and courteous. He didnt charge me for the diagnosis and let me store my car there for free until I could have it towed. They have been at this location many years and have an excellent reputation in the community. Update: Been having issues with my two tires the last month. Slow leak in both. Had to save $ to get the tires replaced. John let me swing by every few days to fill the tires up. Always took care of me right away. Super nice guy. I would recommend this car care spot to anyone. It's been over three years since my previous review!!!

DON'T COME HERE! This place is over priced and a rip off. I was better off going to an actual dealership. Charging me $100 just to check a loose wire on my battery and tightening a bolt. Pfft...I could've done that myslef. Autozone wouldn't of even charged me for checking my battery. Not to mention, they had me waiting and waiting to pick up my car, poor customer service.

John is the best. Not only as a mechanic, but as a human being. I’ve taken my car to be serviced multiple times, so there have been times when I’m happy, things are simple and it’s an quick oil change.. or I come in crying because my battery just died in a parking lot and I had to get it jumpstarted to get there. Dramatic, I know lol… But when it comes to car “things” it can be a little scary, especially since my car is getting older and I just want to be safe when I’m driving. So he has always been very kind as a person and listens when I’m upset or when life is good! It gives a comforting vibe and energy to know that the shop is right around the corner, and if I need help, John cares as a person to figure it out with me. Both my car and myself can walk away knowing all of our issues were seen, heard, and taken care of. Thank you John for being there for the customers who truly appreciate YOU! :)
