I took my 1996 Subaru in and had the head gaskets and all the oil seals done as well. They did a great job and delivered the car ahead of time. Great place with AWESOME service . I recommend him to all my friends

The only reason Im giving this place 1 star is because I had too in order to even write a review. So when I called suns they quoted me a fair price and booked me for the next day @ 9am sharp. So 9am SHARP the next day I show up with my wife and 2 month old baby in our other car so I could drop off the van and he tells me sorry cant get you in until another 3 days. I said okay but I really need this done so I can get back to work he says no problem. So 3 days later 9am sharp again I show up having to wake my wife and baby again and he tells me now its double the price from his original quote. I ask why and he says its a 4 hour job to change spark plugs. He goes to the computer to show me and his computer says 2 hours and I said what are you talking about 4 hours, he then started to tell me his computer is wrong and all these excuses. So I left and went to another mechanic shop called Brothers Transmissions on 300w and they got me right in and done the same day in less than 2 hours, even for cheaper than Suns first quote they gave me. I originally chosen suns because of the good reviews on here and city search. Makes me wonder if its his family and friends writing the reviews because I had a horrible experience.

Sun did his usual great job of repairing my car. I came to him with an issue that required some troubleshooting to determine the actual problem. When I picked up my car the next day, Sun had discovered and fixed the problem. The more important thing here is that he could have “repaired” something that really didn’t need to be fixed and charge for repairs that I really didn’t need. Instead he only addressed the part that had failed and charged me for that…. which was much less. If you are looking for a honest person, Sun is the guy you should bring your car to for repairs. Oh yes, he always does a great on repairs.

SUMMARY: FRIENDLY, HONEST, GOOD PRICING. You'll also feel educated & confident when you leave. I really don't like making accounts to make reviews, but Sun's Auto was a big exception for me. I'm a big web user, search reviews, ratings, and make decisions based on others. I will have to echo everyone's positive reviews about Sun's auto. My family has gone to Sun for 15 years and I have tried other mechanics during those times. But I always come back to Sun. He's very reasonable, honest, and educational. He really does make an effort to help me understand the issue and what's required for him to fix my cars. His pricing is fair and frankly, because of all my great experience with him, I'll give him a tip, because of his friendly effort. He deserves it & earns every penny. He's just another human being helping another human being. He has an immense positive impact on the community and he's probably unaware of it. Go to Sun's Auto, you'll see what I mean. Wow, We will come back anytime we need a repair! We're telling all of our friends and family about Sun's autoshop. He replaced our radiator for half the price of anyone else we received quotes from, and not only that, he went above and beyond to have our car ready quickly. Definitely recommend.

Had a great experience with Suns auto! Don’t let the initial look or location of this shop throw you off. Not only did they diagnose the issue after my warranty company’s service center couldn’t, the gentlemen at the front desk also took the time to not only explain to me what the issue was but to actually grab a spare system and show me exactly what was happening with my car. As a female who often gets the run around from just about every other mechanic shop EVERYTIME I have to take my car in this was excellent. They were polite and professional and did everything in good time. I definitely recommend these guys.
