Beware. Physically damaged my brand new 2023 Tundra and refused repair. First car wash for my brand new one week old 2023 tundra and it was significantly scratched right down to the metal by this car wash. I immediately alerted the local supervisor who assured me that it would be taken care of, and walked me through the process of filing the claim. He told me that they should be in touch with me within a couple days. One week later, after not hearing anything, I called them, only to find out that my claim had been denied, with little other information about the denial other than they stated that the damage was pre-existing. With no actual evidence to back up this claim. I will never use this car wash again, and will go out of my way to make sure that none of the people that I know do either. A completely unprofessional organization.

Their standard wash did nothing. They don't pre scrub and the pressure was so weak it didn't even get dust off the car. The entire right side of the car has a whole strip of dust still on it for the full length of the best. In entry there was a sign that informed customers that all their vacuums were out of order.

I went to this car wash this week. I bought the $18.00 car wash. Went thru the first time specifically stating that I needed my wheels done and that my bumpers from my trip the previous evening. After my first run thru I noticed they didn't get my wheels bumper or window. I went back thru not one but 2 more times! These pictures are after 3 times thru and still left with bugs on my bumper and window! The gal informed me they are "not allowed to use the brush anything but glass so it dosent scratch anything". My mind is blown that after $18.00 and 3 runs thru my car is still dirty. So I had to go to a manual wash car wash to get the job done. We will not be back.

At approximately 12:15 PM on June 13, 2025, my husband and I went to Surf Thru Express Car Wash to wash his pickup truck. We entered the wash area with the direction of two employees who were having difficulty aligning the tires on the drag line. Eventually, they were satisfied, and the wash routine began. My husband shifted the truck into neutral, removed his hands from the steering wheel, and the dragline pulled the truck into the wash area. Approximately halfway through the wash area, the dragline ejected the pickup to the right of the drag line. There was a scraping noise in the area of the right side of the pickup. The attendants stopped the dragline. The attendants tried to push the pickup back onto the dragline without success. Finally, my husband asked the attendants if he should try using four wheel drive to regain the dragIine. They replied YES. He put the truck into four wheel drive and was able to back the pickup back onto the dragline. The attendants restarted the drag line and the rest of the wash proceeded without incident. He had NOT touched the steering wheel until he tried to help by putting it in 4-wheel drive. The incident dented the right front fender of the truck and left long scratches on the fender and bumper. We took the truck to get an estimate for the repair. It was over $5,000. Our insurance company asked us to get an estimate from a second company. Meanwhile, Surf Thru said that they were not at fault because my husband had his hands on the steering wheel which was not true. He only put his hands on the steering wheel when the employees directed him to do so to put the truck in 4-wheel drive and back onto the dragline. They said Surf Thru had 30 cameras and would be able to show that my husband was at fault. Our insurance company demanded that Surf Thru send them videos from their cameras as proof. To date (August 9, 2025), they have not sent the videos to our insurance company. They are claiming my husband had his hands on the steering wheel, and that we damaged their equipment, without their having proof! Our insurance company paid for the repair (around $2,000), but NOT the $500 deductible. As far as we know, they are still waiting for the “proof”. And we are still waiting for the $500 back. I repeatedly called Paul , the site manager; Zack, the area manager; and Jason, another manager, requesting a call back. The only person I spoke to was Paul, who couldn’t get off the phone fast enough. They all claim that we were at fault, and they don’t know the name of their insurance company. Really? Not very astute! If you have an accident on the road, you are required to get the name of the other person’s insurance company. That is our experience. Surf Thru is a hazardous car wash and was not honest with us. Unless you have a lot of free time to pursue repairs and an extra $500, I recommend looking elsewhere to wash your vehicle.

I always come for complimentary wipes and air fresheners. NEVER had a problem since living in bend. Woman at the door was having a power trip. As i said whenever any of the men are working they always provide world class customer service. This woman was not cool, will not return to this wash? i'd go to the other surf and turf wash on the north side. Way better

This place is a total scam. Went the other day and was in told they were running a special to pay $20 for a month of car washes. The lady told just to bring my receipt back when I wanted another wash. Went another two times without issue and today the male manger Billy said no I had to pay another $20 if I wanted to get my car washed. He said there were forms to be signed and when I said none of that was discussed with me and she didn’t have me fill out anything. He was rude and said too bad it’s going to be another $20. We left without paying and will never return.

Warning!!! Surf thru express stole hundreds of dollars from me by continuing to charge a monthly payment on my credit card when I had cancellation documentation. When trying to get a refund I was unable to get to satisfaction even when presenting documentation. I wasn’t able to get to speak with management or owners. Very unhappy and they will have no more of my business. I will go anywhere else!!!

Worst wash in town. I spend $100 per month on memberships for my four cars and I'm about to cancel them all. It's been dissappointment after dissappointment. They refuse to hand brush any part of your vehicle anymore even the windows. The automated part of the carwash does a terrible job on the rear of any vehicle so they used to get around that by hand brushing and pressure washing but they won't do that anymore. They've recently started refusing to pressure wash the car before it enters the wash which means all the winter cinder from the roads gets ground into your paint by the automated brushes. Now my cars are dirty and damaged. Awesome. Just what I was looking for. Emails to customer service go absolutely nowhere.

Car Wash Nirvana for all of us car washing nerds! In Summary: - Friendly Service - Fairl Prices - Good Wash - AMAZING extras - sinks, SHADE, pressurized air, mat wash I got a coupon and thought I'd try it out. I was met by a friendly staff member who offered one of the following free - air freshener, dash wipes, garbage bag - she gave me all three! The wash was good, the vacuums are strong and the nozzles stay put. What blew me away were all of the extras this place had. First, they have sinks so I can get my own cloths wet. Second, they had the most amazing pressurized air guns for getting all of those pesky tiny bits of dirt out of the many crevices of your car. Amazing! Next, they offered the usual coin-op cleaning items. Bonus was the mat washing machine. Adding to the experience, most of the vacuum bays are in the shade, making it a much better experience than vacuuming my car out in the blazing high desert sun. Other amenities - handicap bays, bathrooms, and drinks. They even offer a monthly plan for multi-car families. Surf Thru, I commend you for perfecting the car washing experience!

A complete ripoff! The entire wash takes 20-30 seconds. The front brushes barely touch the front of the vehicle and miss all the dead bugs. Then I was told AFTER the wash and spending $20 that the bug wash was down. There are no towels provided to dry or work on the dead bugs yourself. I won’t go back!

I’ve been paying for the $34.99 premium membership for over six months. Not once has it been an easy or quality wash. The sticker is not recognized and I’ve replaced it three times - so I always have to sit and wait for an employee to come out and scan it. Pictures are from today - after TWO WASHES. It is still dirty and is drying with water spots all over. Time to cancel and go for the ceramic coat again. Edited to add: I do not have time or concern to email about your faulty equipment. Fix it or reduce your prices.

First time I went through I bought an ultimate wash, there was still some dirt and bugs left over. Thought maybe the sensors were bad, things don’t always work right?! Didn’t mind too much. The last two times I’ve gone through it’s been exactly the same, doesn’t get the hood or grill, and the wash spinners rarely touch the whole car. Bought ultimates every time. I can expect a wash now and then not to come out perfect and shiny. But multiple times in a row? Don’t spend your money at this place, you’re better off going across the street.

The location at 62020 SE 27th St, Bend, OR 97701 is terrible service. Have the "fast pass" made me wait then moved me to the cashier line. Then let 5 other cars pass me because they can't fix their system and I get screwed. All the say to me, "oh want some wipes" no apology for any inconvenience. This was on 3:20 PM on 12/17/2025 and their employees couldn't careless. After I finally go through the car wash I get the basic package wash when I get the higher end wash. Then frustrated I ask to cancel my membership, they say here is a barcode and ignored me didn't even want to ask what this issue is. Terrible service do not recommend.

Went here yesterday and had a terrible experience. I payed for the best wash and not only did the machine not touch the whole passenger side, my tires never got scrubbed, only half my car got sprayed with the bug solution, no part of my car was scrubbed and to top it all off no one there wanted to give me a refund, a way to contact anyone or even a business card and I was told "I got a phone right? Look it up" and they also took my license plate number with out any concent or reasoning. I still want my 20$ back. I payed to get my car washed not to make me wish I just did it my self.

No pre wash station or attendant with a brush to get bugs cleared from bumpers and mirrors. Usually have to go through a few times to get a decent wash. No micro fiber towels or cleaners at the vacuum area. I’ve gone threw 4 times just to get the road dust off the sides, with no affect.

Very good car wash, I always get very good results here, and I really like the quality of the vacuum and compressed air stations out front. The reason I gave it 3 stars is the utterly unprofessional pressure to upgrade at the greeting station. When you drive up, and ask for the express wash, the attendant says: “oh, just soap and water?“ When I asked what he means, he explains how low quality their express wash is and that you should upgrade. Very unprofessional. Kills the whole vibe.
