UPDATE: So I finally had the ability to get my car to a new mechanic. Apparently, the prior mechanic at this location stole my catalytic converter. I was advised to speak to an attorney about this matter. Despite them saying their under new ownership, I'd never go here again. As you can see earlier on I posted he was a nice guy the original mechanic, but now I find out I was completely conned. The shell was left in with broken pieces that clogged the car up. They claimed prior mechanic died, idk if anything they are saying is true. Please be cautious with these people. Very disappointing people like this prey on those who need help. When I called they also tried saying they just let guy use the shop, so that's also weird. Don't risk it, it's been more expensive than it needed to be. Their reviews may be inflated because I'd not be here posting again months later if it was really as amazing as others claim. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• During these rough times I think it's important for people to know that this shop is not the best when it comes to catalytic converter replacement. The job cost me a lot, and did not last a year. They also claim to let people use their shop and provide receipts with their company's name on it that apparently are not part of the shop so watch for that, and confirm who you speak with is actually employed by them. It's unfortunate that the man that originally did my work lost his life to coveid and he was very kind, I believe if he was around he'd done whatever he could to help, and I don't think it was his intention to do a job that lasted less than a year. However, these other people seem to be sketchy. 1st call they said find the receipt, 2nd call they said they don't do that type of work, and the man that did it originally didn't really work for them, then they said they changed the name, and purchased the business. If you need real work done do not go to this shop, go somewhere that is willing to back up their work. A more established company. Maybe their only good with their family and friends, idk this is my experience though.

The shop must be paying for positive reviews or having friends and family post, because Santos is the opposite of honest and respectful. He will be happy untill you tell him the product failed and need him to honor the warranty. Mr. Santos mocked me and implied I'd need to consult with an attorney before hangging up on me. The work done on my car didn't even last a year for the next smog test and costed almost $600, I am in the process of filing a legal complaint against the shop.

Im long overdue on this review… I’ve had my car back for about a month now and all I can say is that I highly recommend them. Truck runs so smooth. It was a big job replacing cylinder head gaskets but they explained everything in detail and were in constant communication! Best customer service ever! Kind of felt robbed there. Took my car in running and got it back inoperable. Then cost something over $600 just to see why it stopped running. Told me I need I new transmission so gave the okay to order one. They didn't order one and then told me they the transmissions for my car are out of stock and I need to wait 1 month. I was left with a car that needs to get towed, $600 less in my bank account, and still no idea what they even did to my car. Needless to say I called other mechanics and they had no shortage of transmissions. They found the problem fast, got me a new transmission installed and running better than ever for half the cost of what I was quoted from this shop. Maybe other people had a better experience but idk. I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

I always receive excellent service, and the prices are always fair. I had been taking my car to the dealership, but when my battery started to get faulty, they refused to help until the battery was completely dead. I was able to get an appointment at SVT without any issues, and the mechanic, Jose, was super helpful. I don't think I will ever go to a dealership again.

Jose at SVT has been our family mechanic for years. My husband and I have had our BMW X5, Chevy Silverado (he rebuilt the engine) and our Polaris RZR serviced by Jose. My parents are also customers of his (Ford Edge, Ford F-250) and we all drive to him from Orange County! Jose works fast, is honest and stands by his work. He will often show photos and videos explaining the problems and what he’s fixed/fixing. He’s very trustworthy and incredibly knowledgeable. I’m so happy and relieved to have finally found a shop we will use again and again!
