This was my second visit to Tallman's. This time it was for an oil change and tire reseal. I had an 8 am appointment, I was on my way home before 9. I was very satisfied with their service and Scott is very professional and courteous. I will be using their services again soon for my NY State inspection in a few months. As it has for years, my experience yesterday confirmed my faith in Tallmans. Over this last weekend, our F-150 drove as if an emergency brake was half on. Dropped off with no appointment and filled appointment, our problem was identified and fixed at a lower price than expected and by the late afternoon I was myself keeping my own appointments with time to spare.

It's hard to believe that just a week ago, my husband and I were sitting in the right turn only lane on Genessee Street in Utica, New York, having broken down on our way to Vermont. We quickly contacted AAA Northeast for help and were greatly relieved to have a tow truck driver arrive within 10 minutes and take us to Tallman's Tire and Auto Repair. I cannot say enough positive things about Tallman's and call out to Anthony Ficchi, who listened to our plight and somehow got our new alternator and battery installed in record time! We were back on the road less than 3.5 hours after the breakdown - amazing!! And we were still able to hit the almost century old bakery in town - The Florentine. All in all, Tallman's was fast, courteous, actually more than courteous - after all, we are from Wisconsin and yet Anthony still went out of his way to help us out of our predicament. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

You guys were very accommodating! I showed up early… about an half hour. You had a mechanic just finish up with an empty bay! You took me in right away for a NYS inspection. I had a minor issue… you fixed it immediately… and I was on my way within 30 minutes! I would recommend you to anyone is is looking for great service!

Sent my son in law for an alignment. The alignment appointment was made online. The online verification only stated ALIGNMENT! This appointment was made at the recommendation of another Outstanding garage. The garage that did the recommendation had completed ALL work and had inspected the car. The ONLY thing that the car was in need of was an alignment. TWO DAYS LATER, I OPENED UP MY CREDIT CARD STATEMENT TO SEE A $462 charge! I contact my son-in-law he tells me that they told him he needed two rear tires. Their argument is, they said my son-in-law says he needed two tires and an alignment! This is nonsense! What garage takes two PERFECTLY GOOD TIRES off of a car and replaces them? Oh, and for the record, these tires were just bought last February. They were less than a year old. I bought these tires from Tallmans in Rome. I thought I was dealing with a stand-up business. I guess I was wrong!!!
