Bought my parts online and prepaid to. have them put on. When it was time to pick up my car , he had added 300.00 in unauthorized charges and refused to return my vehicle until paid. Not worth the headache.Go somewhere else. They are desperate for money.

I came here strictly for my Lifesafer calibrations. They are never on time here. They are untrustworthy. They overcharged me for my services the first time. I didn’t want to come back this second time but I had to…. Came just for a calibration and all of a sudden they claim they have to replace my camera and my IID. Because I initially declined that they do ANY work on my car, and only said yes because lifesafer said I had to get it done there, they immediately started treating me differently. Demanded I go to waiting room and I’ve never had to do that before. Closed the shade to the door on me while I was in the waiting room so that I could not see them working on my car. Very petty and unprofessional. I drive to Bradford Auto Care in Lebanon,45 mins away, every month in order to NOT have to come to this shop. My calibration takes 5 minutes at Bradford Auto Care. No trouble on either end with them or Lifesafer. A calibration at TGC Auto will take about 2 hours and even then you may pull off and find out that your vehicle has not been Calibrated properly and you have to go somewhere else anyway. NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!!

8/1/23 update... I have to now change my review. This facility is having major ownership issues. My vehicle was held for over 16 months, work not completed, and vehicle damaged while stored. I no longer have any faith in this establishment. very very regrettable. I have been dealing with TGC for almost 15 years and I cannot say enough about these guys. My most trusted mechanic for any vehicle.

Dave saved us. Me and my girlfriend started in Mooresville North Carolina and planned to road-trip across the country 2,100 miles to Arizona for her to go to college, we had her car packed full of everything we own and we broke down and made it to Dave’s shop and he did everything he could until I snapped a spark plug clean off the threads and I thought we were screwed. Dave hooked us up with a friend of his and got us to where we needed to go. I cannot thank Dave enough for his hospitality he really took care of us and I don’t know what we would have done without him god bless you Dave.

Had a heavy coolant leak and couldn't drive I googled mechanics and this is what I found near by he said on phone it be$ 20 for the diagnostic and they close at 5:30 it was like 4:45 when i called bht he said just come in and ill check it out so i did i showed up and it was now 5:20 pm he throughly checked it out and it turns out jt wasn't as bad as I thought. Plus he never asked for any money I'll be making an apointment and going back Monday to have him do the repairs awesome guy he stayed extra late with another employee to help me out couldn't be more shocked at the kindness I mean I was so surprised highly recommend

See sir I was trying to be nice and not say anything and just gave a rating. I went to him because I have family that deals with him. While in possession of my car my f ing tags got stolen, you didn't offer to replace,you had to leave my doors unlocked unless you or a mechanic did it I had like 15 dollars worth of change stolen along with a few cds. You told me you knew what it was kept my car about 3 weeks and still didn't fix the problem I was out of 1857.00 after you supposedly fixed it and you took extra money for my o2 sensors you never fixed and threw the brand new parts in my middle console and if I wasn't looking for something I would have lost 200 more dollars fooling with you!!! You too dam old and need to retire!

Dave was able to quickly analyze and install a new radiator, after I came off the interstate with coolant leaking everywhere. It was late on a Saturday afternoon - Dave did not have to stay to help me get back on the road, but he did! New radiator install was completed quickly and efficiently - I was back on the road again in a matter of hours. Cannot say enough good things about his knowledge and willingness to help. Not many folks like that anymore. Excellent work!

Never take your car there They missed up my AC up and he don’t want to fix it. My car was quiet until he did something with my AC compressor and now it’s making a lot of noise remember, he’s not going to fix your car if he messed it up

If you’re looking for a genuine and honest mechanic, look no further than David and TGC auto. This was my second time using TGC. My car broke down at a gas station across the street from their old location on trinity lane. David answered my call and immediately responded to the gas station and spend his entire day under my hood in a parking lot getting my car back to normal. While his shop is temporarily out of service and looking for his next location, he still answers his phone and will find a way to help you out. Thanks again David!

Everyone else I called from my broke down car on I24/I65 split at Trinity lane exit in 100+ degree heat wanted $150 diagnostic fee just to look at it and that wouldn't be until next day. I called Dave, and he said he'd wait for me and my tow and only charged me $20! He perfectly diagnosed it as my cooling fan but also noted my S belt was a hot mess and only half there. Also, I was 2qrts low on oil, which he put in free of charge. With his instructions, I made it all the way home to Clarksville, no problem. He didn't do the work for me and knew he wouldn't be doing the work for me but was so sweet and helpful anyway. I got the parts at Autozone and had a friend do the work. The check engine light is off and my a/c is blowing ice cold with no hiccups. THANK YOU, DAVE! YOU'RE AN ANGEL!
