I didn’t go here, I live in Sacramento but, my son & his gf would have been stranded in Reno if they hadn’t went out of their way to make time to fix their vehicle and provided excellent customer service . They were packed and still made time for them even though they didn’t have an appointment and showed up last min. This means a lot to me! Glad to have my loved ones back safely !

This is one of the slimiest businesses that I’ve ever had to deal with. I brought in my car for a simple AC recharge. I was quoted $150 for the procedure. When I arrive back to pick up my car they informed me that they were not able to recharge my AC because my AC system was out of date and needed to be replaced. They then continue to bill me $150 for the service that they DID NOT perform on my car!! I argued that since they did not perform the service they had quoted me for that I should only be charged for the less than one hour of labor of inspecting the system. They insisted that $150 was for labor and quote “diagnosis”. You can’t argue with slime or stupid so I gritted my teeth paid the $150 and left. If you’re looking for a good HONEST automotive shop this is not the one. Go find a more honest and respected business elsewhere.

The owner here is fantastic and I would've trusted them with my car, but they failed to follow up with me, so I had to look elsewhere. Everyone here is very kind, but my mother said the front desk person she called was a bit snippy with her and a bit unprofessional. Again, great owner and mechanics who talked me through the issue and even showed me exactly what was wrong. The only thing is the front desk man could be a bit more professional.

The Auto Hospital is by far the best place in Reno to take your vehicle to. They treat you fairly and you can always trust they will take good care of your car and do the the job right the first time around. Troy has a talented hard working team of employees and an outstanding business. Steve also kept me up to date on my Trailblazer every step of the way when it broke down on me recently no matter how busy they were. When in with the misfire, decided not to do the work there and just pay for the diagnostic, which then the Came out with an idol in an issue. Call Troy, what's told? There would fix itself in a few days because he cleaned the throttle body. After a few days replaced, the throttle body still not fixed.Replaced all the parts required on the diagnostic. When brought to his attention refuses to contact me refuses to talk to me. Has other employees tell me that it's my fault. And I can pay to get it fixed.

Just to give a heads up for anyone seeking auto repair, maintenance or freely advice given, The Auto Hospital is a number one place to go. I have taken my car here two times for repairing two different issues and I will continue to trust the mechanics here for more work needed. Troy, Steve, and the other guys (I've not gotten their names) are all highly trained, knowledgeable, very honest mechanics that explain everything they would do, will do and how they succumbed to their conclusion. I've met Mary, and we chatted about camping and such, Cody, at the front desk with enthusiasm and a friendly welcome. I truly appreciate their quality service. Not to mention their family oriented atmosphere where I feel I just made new friends. So go ahead, join us lucky folks that are completely confident our vehicles are in good hands and you won't be blindsided with outrageous estimates for unnecessary procedures. Have been a customer of the Auto Hospital since April of 2019. They service both my Ford vehicles. Troy, Cody, and the team do a far better job than any of the Ford dealers in the area. On the most recent used Ford I purchased they found the new brakes put on by the dealer were not the correct type for the vehicle. I know when they do a routine service my vehicle will get a complete safety check. The timing of their oil services is somewhat shorter than that recommended by Ford. But I know that in the harsh conditions of Nevada, I can travel confident knowing my oil is up to par. Highly recommend the Auto Hospital.

The auto hospital replaced my steering rack (06/2021) and did a great job. I had it replaced just months before by someone who really messed it up. The auto hospital was able to get it done correctly and now months later it's still working perfectly! Update 11/2024: Still no issues with the steering rack that they replaced or the cam position sensor they replaced.

I am so pleased with the work Troy did for me! I had just bought a 1990 Mazda Miata, and the air conditioner wasn't working, so I called many shops and nobody would deal with it, said it was too old. When I found the auto Hospital, Troy said no problem and fixed it at a very reasonable price! Hopefully I don't have too many issues with this old car, but if I do, the auto hospital is the only place I'll go.

Auto Hospital in Sparks did an excellent job on my vehicle. They diagnosed and fixed the main issue quickly, and had everything completed in about a day and a half. What really stood out was their integrity. After diagnosing the problem, they also replaced a motor mount, completed an oil change, and fixed another seal, none of which were part of the original quote. Even with the additional work, they honored the original quoted price. No surprises, no games, just honest work and solid turnaround time. It’s hard to find shops like this anymore. I highly recommend them if you need reliable service in the Sparks or Reno area.
