I recently deleted a very negative review for the burg one year ago I brought my truck in for a no heat issue was told it was a actuator door they replaced it and charged me $1200 that did absolutely nothing then said I need heater core $1900 additional did not do that im out the $1200 since then a new office manager heather started read my previous nasty review went thru the paper work for the job found some questionable reasons for the $1300 contacted me !! To come to a acceptable compensation [she could of buried this under the rug] without hesitation reimbursed me all the labor and taxes Heather is with out a doubt a honest and trustworthy person the burg definitely going to well by her definitely have my business back

I LOVE the BURG! I literally had 3 local mechanics not call me back, so I asked a downtown restaurant owner who she uses and she was EMPHATIC! The BURG! They’ve helped me a ton the last few weeks (I had a number of problems…) They would be a bit of a trek from Disston, but they gave me Lyft rides! They are smart, organized, personable and honest. And they love DOGS! As long as I live here, they’re for me. ***UPDATE: I needed them again and they’re still THE BEST. Above and beyond!

Firstly, let me say that the employees that work here are polite and respectful. My husband brought in my 2013 Toyota Corolla for not starting and we thought it was issues with the coil packs upon them looking at my car. They needed to run additional diagnostics which we approved for them to do. Unfortunately they found that my car was putting off abnormal engine levels after testing it and deemed the engine totaled and that the entire engine would need to be replaced i was given a quote for roughly $10,000 as upset as I was about this, I respected their opinion and their education as they were the experts a month later. I decided before I send it to the scrap yard let me get a second opinion, I took it to another shop where they were able to determine that the engine was in fact, totally fine. The alternator was locked up upon replacing the alternator. Good as new no issues and so while I do, in fact, think this was a mistake And nothing that they did intentionally as again they were totally polite and respectful. However it only cost me $200 for a new alternator incomparison to $10,000 for a new engine or car.

After going here for almost two years for regular maintenance, they've lost a customer due to dishonesty. At the last oil change appointment, I was told my front control arms urgently needed replacing due to cracking on the bushings. The quote? Just under $1,500. Went to Rising Sun Automotive for a second opinion. They quoted me a much lower price (a little over $1k), but then when they looked over the car, they called me and informed me the control arms are nowhere close to needing replaced. There are a few cracks in the rubber, but it's nowhere near needing fixed. Shame on the Burg urging me to get the work done when it wasn't needed. I came to you because of your honesty, but not anymore!

Never a good day when you have to take your vehicle in for service but this place makes it so much better. I've been here twice now and both times have been very efficient. Today my problem was resolved in less than 30 minutes (tire patch-I made an appointment the evening before) Never had such quick service ever in 20 years of driving! Lobby is clean, has snacks and they guys are nice enough to change the music if it's something you can't stand on the radio. When you inevitably need an automobile mechanic go here!

They give thorough explanations (with photos) of work needed and if they can't fix it they will tell you where there is a reliable place that can. I LOVE the Burg Automotive! I’ve never experienced such a knowledgeable group of people. Everyone is pleasant and so helpful and patient explaining anything and everything related to your car troubles. And if you forget what they told you, the over-the-top, detailed auto reports are amazing! Photographs with markings showing exactly where the problem is and complete explanations. Not your average auto shop, and thank God! First time in years my husband hasn’t been able to take my car for an oil change so I went alone; and for women, we know going alone can be a nightmare. What a breath of fresh air. Luke scheduled my appointment last week and was there to greet me today, he and Devon the mechanic were transparent with every detail. I got to see the bottom of my car, and was shown where I may have future issues, why, and how to maintain, prevent or fix what needed it. Devon demonstrated with a flashlight in corners and crevasses hard to see with the naked eye. While I waited for 60 min only, in the lobby, there was snacks, free WiFi, coffee, phone chargers, dog treats, music and it was cool but not freezing. Everyone working was pleasant, in a good mood, thorough and made me more educated about my vehicle without making me feel stupid. At the end I got a detailed list of all the recommendations with pictures and full cost, itemized and detailed. I may never go anywhere ever again. Thanks guys for a great experience.

I came in for an oil change and maintenance check up and had a fantastic experience here! Everyone was super friendly and knowledgeable, and they gave me a detailed printed report of what may need attention in the future with actual pictures so I could understand! I loved that they explained things clearly but weren’t pushy at all stating that my brakes still had a good 6 months left. The last place I went to always tried to get me to do unnecessary work, so it was refreshing to find a place that’s honest with great prices. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Every team member was fully engaged with my automotive repair concerns from start to finish. They brought me into the shop, placed my car on a lift, and walked me through exactly what was going on. Their honesty and professionalism were outstanding — they even took detailed photos of the trouble spots and sent them to me for reference. It's rare to find a shop that is not only technically skilled but also caring and transparent. Without a doubt, this team is exceptional.
