I highly recommend this place! Me and my kids broke down and we live hour away.. they crossed the street where we was broke down at and helped us and he also drove the vehicle to get us to the shop safe! I spent nearly $400 on a simple inspection for a noise and to find out where an oil leak was coming from. After my car being there for “several” hours, I was then told my car needed to be there overnight. Finally the next morning I was given a bill for the inspection and told they couldn’t “find” the oil leak. That it was probably “excess oil” from a previous oil change. I parked the car in my garage and left out of the country for a few weeks only to return to an even larger oil leak on my garage floor. I do not recommend this company to ANYONE!

I hate to do this. The service manager was a nice person. I blew a hole in my radiator new years. Towed it to a AAA approved mechanic. I received an invoice totaling about $3k in repairs. $800 for spark plugs $1100 to swap a radiator. In what universe does a $200 oem radiator for a Camry and quite literally 10 minutes worth of work to swap a 10mm and 13mm bolt? I couldn’t believe it. The manager called and said he could get it down to around $1000 out the door for a radiator install. $200 and ten minutes it took me. I reported them to AAA. It’s illegal to charge a diagnostic fee when I didn’t approve it. I had no choice but to pay $150 for them to release my car. If you had two eyes a brain and a finger you could have found the hole. This is how they treat disabled Americans. Run from this shop. I will say the service staff was polite and tried. But at the end of the day they said the company would never allow it. File with the bbb. Complain to aaa. Or pay someone $2k to do your spark plugs and radiator. What a crime. Gimmie a break.

Everyone was excellent. The pre work estimate was very helpful in keeping me informed of the possible cost of service. I've tried dealing with larger companies but I always come back to The Car People. They are straightforward and honest with me and advise me of my real car troubles. Since the job would take a while, I was given a ride home so I could wait in comfort. I'm an impatient person but being home calmed my anxious nature. I paid my bill and happily drove home knowing I was safe on the road. I've told all my friends and family about this company. They may be small but they are mighty in service.
