John met me first thing in the morning, in a parking lot in downtown Nashville where my alternator had gone out. He was quick, honest and very professional. I also had a fuse that blew when the alternator went out and John called around looking for the fuse and had to drive to a Honda dealership to get the correct one. He stayed with me to make sure I didn’t have any issues with the security codes on my radio and rear entertainment system. He literally went ABOVE and BEYOND to get me back on the road to our family vacation in Gatlinburg. John charged exactly what he quoted in the beginning. He was great about communicating and keeping me updated. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went. I was back on the road in less than 2 hrs! Unbelievable service! Truly a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ experience!!

John is one of the most professional ,friendly, knowledgeable , mechanics I have ever experienced. I was travelling broke down in the evening and was quite a way out of his service area. He came anyway and changed out my alternator. I went on my way the next day. John called and texted and checked on my journey. I broke down again with the same issue in Illinois. Went to another mechanic there and he got it going again. Decided to cancel my trip turned around to drive the 900 miles back...started to have issues again...John was in contact the whole time. Got back to the original breakdown point. Figured out O'Reilly Auto parts sold me a faulty alternator...( I bought the alternator there and John put it on) ... O'Reilly's tried to blame the problem on other sources. John called them and they finally agreed it was their faulty part. John is replacing the faulty alternator as soon as they get a new one in. John has gone above and beyond what most mechanics would do. I highly recommend this business to anyone who wants a good caring mechanic who takes pride in his work. God bless John.

When my car wouldn't start he came by only 30 min after I called and easily got it sorted. Was super friendly and helpful and will be first one I call if anything happens again! Luckily I only needed a jump start. Turns out the auto-shutoff stopped working on my lights and they drained my battery.

Reviews are accurate. This was the simplest , most stress free experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I highly recommend and would use again. Update: called him back a year later…his website says he does tires. He does not do tires y’all.

John sure did save my rear end! I live in Central Illinois and I was traveling down to Alabama to see family when I suddenly broke down with an alternator failure just north of Nashville. I am lucky enough to have some friends in town who let me bring my car there. After an attempt to replace the alternator myself, I finally admitted defeat (Stay away from European cars! lol) and called John. He asked me for details and came out that day to take a look and was able to fit me in the following day. He was prompt, communicative, and extremely quick! He got the work done in no time at all and was off to his next job. I attempted to get the car started (as I needed to put some bits and bobs back on the car after the alternator was installed that I had removed prior to John coming by!) and ran into issues with having it crank but not start. Knowing I was from out of town and attempting to get home, John called me that evening, to ask how things went and if I had been able to get going. When he heard I was unable to get the car started, he told me he would come by the next day to take a look for me! Completely stand-up guy and true to his word. He came by the following day (WHILE NOT FEELING WELL!), got me running and refused to let me pay him anything else and kept in touch as I was heading home. I owe the positive outcome of this whole endeavor completely to John and his help. On top of that, his prices are FAR below what I was quoted from multiple other places. You absolutely cannot go wrong using Roberts Mobile Mechanics for any of your car repair needs!

Unbelievable service! If you are shopping for a mechanic, then look no further. My BMW was in front of my house for 2 weeks. I could not find a reliable mobile mechanic, until I found 'Roberts Mobile Mechanics.' -- Great service. Great outcome. It can be hard to find a good mechanic. You can not go wrong with this company. It is so great to have a car that works and I owe it to these guys. Obviously they can work on European Cars, which is a big plus. I can only give them my highest recommendation and I am very grateful that they came right to my house and fixed my lovely car. Call these guys. Honest, professional, and great outcome. Have you ever had an auto issue arise that should still be under warranty only to contact the autoshop and get the run around plus extra charges that don't quite make sense? Long story short , I’m from out town & my alternator suddenly had went out. Of course my insurance company took their sweet precious time . I called John about a week for my 2005 Camry , I told him it wouldn't start & I was in a bit of a panic but he asked me a few questions and said he'd be out in about an hour. Roughly 40mins later he shows up and i have to say, I wasn't expecting that level of a diagnosis & i was very impressed with his confidence in the diagnosis- Alternator & Battery! So, I asked John to get the alternator & I asked if he wouldn't mind just putting in the battery I already had , im not quite sure if he really liked doing this ,only because he wasn't confident that it was a good battery. I didn't hover over him while he did his job but i can say this man knows what he is doing, he likes what he does & he's quick & smooth. I will call him again. Oh yeah and the money -- John is reasonable - when you figure in drive time , part cost - labor its better than dealerships and mechanic shops because you get the convenience of him coming to your location.

Saved his number from a long time ago seeing him on the road and glad I did. He came out for me and helped take care of my elderly neighbors who can’t help themselves (both suffering from cancer and strokes) to fix their Tukon when other mechanics couldn’t. He came out on a weekend and gave his weekday rate which was commendable. He did a good job all around and was very thorough knowing what he was doing. I don’t care about his pricing but he is affordable. Not cheap and not expensive but affordable. He has the experience to get the job done and get it done right. This Yukon is now running better than ever and his fee to fix what other mechanics couldn’t was reasonable and comparable. I would recommend this man for anyone who needs expert help getting their vehicle running good.
