I had a recommendation on nextdoor to take my car to Emmetts for a headlight issue. I called on 9/6/18 to get a price & the man I spoke w/ said he would check & call me right back. That was 3 hrs. ago & NO call back!! I won't take my business to ANY company with that kind of customer service, EVER!!!

I took my vehicle to Emmett's to get an oil changed and the tires rotated and balanced. The rotation was way overpriced. I had to take my truck back due to an oil leak after the oil change. They "fixed" it and then it leaked almost all the oil out within a matter of hours. I will never use them again.

This is Rebecca Way. As my 5yo grandson and I were driving down I-65, I lost power. I was able to pull into an auto repair shop that thankfully turned out to be Emmett’s. They fixed my vehicle that week, and every time I’ve needed something for my family fleet of older model cars, it’s back to Pat’s shop we go for fair pricing, kind service, trustworthy work and knowledgeable technicians who are experienced and value integrity and work ethic! I would not go anywhere else!

Very disappointed in this automotive center. My car broke down when I was passing through Nashville and I had it towed to the nearest automotive shop which happened to be Emmett’s. Looked it up online and saw all the good reviews and felt good about having it towed there. So the following day I called and let them know what happened and explained I had an extended warranty to their response being “we don’t do anything with warranty companies.” They didn’t even try to work with me or the warranty. Honestly they didn’t seem like they cared to do business with me at all. I asked well can you at least do a diagnostic to see what the issue might be and of course he “didn’t have enough time.” It literally takes 5 minutes to hook it up and see if it throws any codes. With all the good reviews it really caught me be surprise on how unwilling they were to help. The only reason they’re getting 2 stars and not 1 is because they didn’t make me pay a storage fee to hold it over the weekend. I will not be giving them any of my business ever and I’ll make sure every one in the Nashville area I know doesn’t either.

Took my car in because it was making a scary noise every time I drove it. They squeezed me in on a busy day and fixed the problem for $50. Turned out it was a small part that just needed to be tightened, but since I don't know much about cars, they could have easily told me it was something more serious and charged me more. I would have believed it. Thankful to have a mechanic I can trust in the neighborhood!

Pat and the staff here are wonderful. They are kind, honest, and work quickly. They ran some tests to figure out why my check engine light was on and identified the problem (catalytic converter), then didn’t charge me and recommended someone who could fix the issue. He has a remarkable history at this location and a former shop on 12th Ave. It use to be a former Texaco gas station, it has a wonderful appeal it’s like going back to a little town in a hallmark movie. Seems like a nice shop, im sure they do fine work. The reviews are wrong, they do NOT accept drop offs/walk ups. The owner is also very stingy and picky about what he chooses to work on. That could be a good or bad thing depending your viewpoint. To each their own, but bad experience for me as a first time. I would recommend you call first and make sure the owner actually wants to work on your car.
