Had my Chevy Malibu LT towed to The Mechanic Shop on a recommendation after a cement boulder went under the front of my car on the expressway rendering it completely dead. The Guys at the Shop were not only compassionate to my situation, but repaired all issues in an extremely timely fashion. Cost for repairs were very reasonable and their communication throughout was excellent. I've had many repair shop experiences over the years, these guys BY FAR are The Best all the way around. My experience here was great, Mr Brad is a very honest and fair! It’s hard to find an honest mechanic these days. I liked him so much I recommended my godson to seek employment there as he is studying automotive mechanics. I give 5 stars!! Not only were they honest, but very knowledgeable. I had the cheaper guy do a repair, could of messed up the entire engine, the mechanic shop actually saved my truck from massive repairs by fixing what was done and taking out the lose gasket the other cheaper mechanic left inisde. Worth the few dollars extra 100%.

Needed a new alternator for my wife’s car. Called several places to get a quote and the Mechanic Shop was the most affordable with excellent reviews. Over the phone, they were extremely transparent with the cost of labor and the part itself, and guaranteed same day repair. I dropped the car off right at opening and they had the vehicle ready in only a few hours. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and efficiency of their work. I’ll be coming back for all future repairs.

Prompt service with accurate repairs. Fair prices. Always helpful and take time to explain to explain issue to me. My whole family goes to this shop for their auto repairs. I think Brad and the GUYS have practically rebuilt my son’s old Ford Ranger inside and out! I would definitely recommend them, and I do, to anyone needing auto repair!!

Update 5/16/25: I found out the owner has vamoosed to Florida and left Lester in charge. Another senior lady had a week or so ago been conned into paying upfront for a part, not knowing the owner was gonna run off to another state. LESTER has decided, for some unknowable reason, that he's not going to work on her car either, though she's been friends with the shop owner for over 7 years. She went up there today to pick up her part so she can get someone else to install it. LESTER said he didnt have her part anymore (?) and tried to give her about half what she paid. She managed to get a message to the owner, now she's going up there, supposedly to get MOST of what she paid. Apparently this all boils down to whether LESTER likes you or not, and LESTER decidedly hates and despises women, there is no doubt, evidenced by the way he treats women. So if you're a woman, especially an older woman, don't go here to get your car fixed. If the owner continues to allow this awful man to chase his customers away, I don't see any future for this business. ---------- This used to be a great shop. When my husband was alive, one of us would drop one of the cars off, they'd do what they needed to fix or maintain it, you'd come back, pay, take your car home, all was peachy. But all the guys that were there then are gone now, even the owner is never in evidence anymore, and a new guy is running everything. The first time I needed to take my car in after my husband passed away, I'm informed I have to pay upfront or they won't order the part. "New policy." So I spent time and gas trying to do so, but can't catch this guy Lester in the office, and I guess no one can do anything if he's not there. I get frustrated and let him know I am and that I'm upset that I even have to do this, much less chase the guy down to give him my money. Today I call to see if he is in the office, and am informed, not by the owner, but by this employee, that he has decided they won't take my money or work on my car. Mind you, I've been going to this shop for years and recommending it to everyone who ever mentioned needing a mechanic and some folks that didnt. A shame to see a good shop go to the dogs.

I have been coming to The Mechanic Shop for almost a year now for various car repairs and services, and I'm a little more impressed with each visit. Brad is very personable and takes time to explain the ins and outs of what is going on with my car, what should be repaired now, and what to expect down the line with possible repairs. My A/C went out in my car. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, they diagnosed, ordered parts and FIXED my car before end of day! There was a sensor unplugged and they fixed it at no additional charge and my car drives so much better. They really went above and beyond to ensure I left in a fixed, cool, and safe vehicle.
