If i can leave so stars i would ! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! i call to ask for the owner, who knows more about what the business offers than the owner. I call in ask for owner and i get a response of " no hes not here, you area calling to waist his time" and hung up

This place is top notch dont even pay attention to the little whiners with bad reviews they probably wanted their jollopies fixed for free Jeff is a good dude with fantastic customer service and his other mechanic is knowledgeable and I trust both with my truck keep up the good work fellas and Jenea is awesome too

Well, let's hope first impression do account for something. I had barely completed my request online when I received a call from Jeff. When I asked or rather told him what I wanted - well needed he didn't hesitate to give me a direct yes or no. The dealer on the other hand . . . I will go anywhere besides Nissan of Fairfield or Vacaville. Thus five stars for the prompt response!

I broke down across the street from the shop and Jeff the owner called me back right away . He walked across the street to help me out. He had my car fix and had me on my way in no time. Took a terrible day and turned it around. I truly felt rescued. Thank you so much

could not get my car to start because the owner left the battery connected with out a wiring harness for 8 hours it blew the MSD coil & ignition then told me he couldn't find the problem, I told him real mechanics find the problem by narrowing it down. also couldn't fix another friends old school. I don't recommend this shop to anyone! Seen another old school stranded at this shop today, I ain't gone lie the Hispanic guy that works there is truly the heart of this shop make sure he works on your car if you do go there. Anybody else is a NO!

I do not know where the bad reviews can be coming from. I think it must be competitors, because my husband and I had a remarkable experience at this shop. First, my husband called after hours and Jeff answered! He was helpful and accommodating from the start. We had just headed out from Moss Landing to go to Idaho to be with my father who is dying of cancer. When we pulled over in Fairfield we noticed our motorhome was leaking transmission fluid. That is when we looked for a place to repair our transmission and found The Pit Shop. We took our motorhome into the shop the following morning. Jeff and his worker (I wish I could remember his name) took all day, and part of the next, to repair our transmission. Jeff came to understand of our situation, and that the repairs had eaten up our gas money for the trip, so he gave ua a discount to help us along our way. We found Jeff to be a scrupulous business owner, and worker, with a compassionate heart. My husband and I highly recommend The Pit Shop!

Awesome guys there! We woke up one morning to a flat tire. The tow truck brought us to The Pit Shop. They asked if we wanted a used or new tire and then went to work. They were so fast and friendly. And the tires are very affordable.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT ever, ever, ever go here for Car repairs!!!! The staff and especially the Owner are EXTREMELY Dishonest and they Lie about anything and everything! They make up stories to trap you into having to pay for services. They will lie straight to your face and say things like "you called them to approve them to do work on your vehicle when you did nothing of the sort!!! They charge you the most inflated prices I have ever SEEN!!! They are horrendously rude and disrespectful! They have NO ethics, morals, or values. There motto is the epitome of (SCAM THE CUSTOMER AT ALL COSTS). Will NEVER EVER have work done by them again!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

Took my '08 Ford Expedition in to have some cross threaded bolts replaced on my exhaust manifold. Owner went over issues that could arise and how long it could take to do the work needed prior to taking on the job. After she was finished he charged my a/c, checked and toped off my fluids, and even took it upon himself to check the bolts on my transmission pan were tight since we mentioned noticing a small leak prior to drop off. VERY happy with the service I received!

Hands down the best mechanic I've found since I moved out to California! I had a very trustworthy dependable mechanic in Georgia, and was worried I wouldn't find that. When the brakes went out on my car, I called around Fairfield to get a good estimate on the costs, and ended up bringing it to Jeff at The Pit Shop. Great customer service, and I was in and out of the shop relatively quickly! And now that my car has broken down again, you can bet where I'm taking it too again... I've already made the appointment!

This guy is crazy! He will tell you one price, but charge you another one. He had my car several days and couldn't figure out what was wrong with my car. I literally called him 40 times, and he never called me back. I called the next day, and about the 3rd time I called, he finally answered. He was rude and short with me. I had to go get my fiancé to speak with him because I felt he was sexist. He even yelled at me. He didn't yell at my fiancé lol. I took my car there because I thought he was a stand-up guy! My fiancé brought his car to him, and the problem was actually a recall issue. He did charge for the diagnostic, but he told us to take it back to the dealership, and they fixed it for free! When lil ol' me tried to take my car to him, he made me feel so disrespected. He was just flat-out rude. Ladies, don't do it!!!

I wish I had never met Jeff! I really think he picks and chooses who to get over on! I brought my car to him because it kept overheating. My husband said it was the fan, I told him to give me a diagnostic to see EVERYTHING that was wrong with the car. He charged me for the diagnostic, but NEVER performed one, apparently! Before the pandemic, I brought the car to him, and he initially said it would be about $500 to fix. When I brought it back, the price went up to $780! He said something about how things went up after the pandemic. I wanted the car fixed, so I said just fix it. After I picked up my car, it didn't overheat anymore, but now the car won't go over 40mph. He then told me I needed a new battery because I wasn't getting enough power to the car, etc. I then bought a battery for $200 or so dollars. The car still didn't run! Now he said it's my transmission. I asked him why didn't you tell me that before? You should have seen that on the diagnostic! He then said that I didn't ask him to diagnose the transmission and that I put it on the invoice. I never received an invoice from him!!! His reply to that was, "You left it on my desk!" I couldn't believe it! All I got from him was a carbon copy receipt. When I brought my car back to him, he gave me a nice typed up invoice that said "transmission problems." I only dealt with his employee at the shop. Jeff was angry with the worker for not giving me an invoice. He even went as far as telling me that he fired the guy because of this! I brought my car back several times, and the worker was still there. I even said that Jeff told me he fired him. The guy laughed and said he would never fire me 😠 over $1000 later, and the car still doesn't run! When my car was there, Jeff also told me his shop had got broken into and someone stole his computer, that's why I didn't receive an invoice (Even though he said I left it on his desk!) Now fast forward a few months later... I received a call from his insurance company stating that his shop was broken into and several car keys were stolen! My car was on that list! I politely told that insurance agent how he was a flat-out liar!!! He NEVER mentioned to me that my car keys were stolen, because he gave me the keys to my car back!!! She even told me the day his shop was "broken into," but it was about a week after my car was gone!!! He was filling a claim to get new keys for my car made! During the time he had my car, I couldn't get him on the phone for anything!!! I was really confused about why a few months after everything was said and done with my car, he called me and left me a message saying we needed to talk. I really think he was trying to "prep" me on what to say to the insurance agent. The freaking nerve of this guy!!! If you value your time and money, don't deal with this guy! He is the worst. He doesn't like minorities or women! Find another shop!!! I wish I had read his reviews before I went to this scam artist!!!

Found my favorite shop in Fairfield. No BS, they just took care of my motorcycle In less than 4 days when other shops refused Sportbikes, this car shop fixed my bike and is working flawlessly. Best part they have a little puppy in the shop and they don’t BS u thanks for providing service to Fairfield
