This is absolutely the best RV roof sealant I ever ever seen in my 30+ years of rv roof maintenance. Ron is also very responsive to questions.

In May (2019) I had the unfortunate discovery that my 5th wheel roof was collapsing. I have a 2010 Crossroads Cruiser which I had purchased a year earlier but I didn't know the roof had "issues", But my brother got up there to repair a skylight and noticed the roof was severely sagging so I search for a place to have it looked at. I knew it was going to be expensive and I might have to scrap the whole RV as spending 20k to repair the roof was more than the value of the 5th wheel. After calling around to various RV repair shops I had one tell me to look up "The RV Roof Man" in Sacramento, CA. I called and he asked me to bring the RV down to Sacramento (an hour drive for me) so I did. He and one of his experts immediately got in there and from the inside was able to fish a camera up into the roof and they immediately found the problem. The top and bottom of the roof was separated by thin sheet metal supports and that sheet metal had bent and collapsed. He immediately gave me an estimate that was reasonable and within my budget and the value of the 5th wheel. So after I gave him a deposit, I left the RV there for the repair. When he actually tore the roof apart he found that the issue was actually a severe design flaw in the roof done by the manufacturer. The roof supports were only separated and supported by the sheet metal separators (see pics.) This design was failing miserably and that he'd have to replace the entire roof from front to back to do it right. He offered to take on the cost of the entire repair if I'd only pay additional above the estimate for material costs. I agreed and he got to work. It took three weeks to do all the work and he redesigned the roof support system and at first said it would add an additional 500+ lbs to the RV weight. I asked if there was anything he could do to reduce that as I knew my carrying capacity wasn't a lot to begin with. So he redesigned the solution again and cut that weight increase by almost 1/2 to around 250 lbs. I said "great" and he proceeded with the repair. As a fulltime RVer I was pressured to get back into my rig so after a couple weeks I voiced a little urgency to finish up the work and he obliged. In an effort to get the work completed quickly he did something he wouldn't normally do, he didn't put fabric on the radius trim molding on the roof edges and just applied his "forever roof" material to the radius trim directly. Because of the uneven bonding of this painted on roof layer on vertical surfaces the edges of the roof clumped a little causing an uneven surface on the radius trim. Not a big issue for me but he offered to remove the trim, strip it and apply the fabric and reseal it with the roof material. But I knew he was already way over cost on this repair and it would have cost me over twice as much to have it done anywhere else. So I told him to not worry about it. If I wanted I could sand it down and apply a smooth coat of the roofing material if it later bothered me and as this only affected the vertical surfaces I wasn't worried about it. The top of the roof is as smooth as glass and looks great. In the preceding months I have traveled across the country almost 9000 miles. I have been through severe hail storms, heavy rains, thunder and lightning and high heat and humidity and the roof has weathered it all perfectly. Even with the golf ball size hail dented my truck and destroyed an old roof vent I had (nothing to do with the roof replacement) the roof came through with flying colors. I would highly recommend you bring your RV to The RV Roof Man for all your roof repair needs. He also does other RV work related to interior issues with your RV (cabinet repair, walls and floors) so give him your business if you want an excellent repair job done on your RV. And he stands by his work and is very conscientious about the end results. He will always do you right. I couldn't recommend him enough.

Ron’s knowledge and customer service is next level. There was a shipping issue and I was approaching my deadline on a customers rv. He had a job in Bakersfield he was packing up for, this man threw extra material in his truck and came to Vegas first to drop off the product for us since the shipper “lost” it. I cannot say enough about how appreciative I am. Now for the product…….its the best, plain and simple.

Ron saved us thousands of dollars in roof repairs and water damage. The manufacturer laid down a fourth of lap sealant needed at the front of our RV. It began to separate and tear just after the 3 year warranty period. Three tubes of Forever Lap Sealant later and we have no issues. RON IS THE RV MAN!💯🥳

I did a DIY roof repair and recovering and purchased gray base, fibre, extreme Primer, Forever RV coating and Forever sealant. Ron went above and beyond with customer service helping me via text, which I really appreciated. My roof is now finished, looks awesome and has weathered a few mighty rain storms perfectly. I definitely recommend this product.

Ron is awesome at what he does and his products are superior to others on the market. He came down to Louisiana and coated my rv roof with his product and it looks great and now the water just rolls off the roof and temps inside camper are better as his coating reflects the heat and his coating stays cool to the touch in our 90-100degree heat down here. Thanks Ron for coming out of your way and doing a great job!!

Ron is absolutely incredible in knowledge of RV roofing. He is prompt and has wonderful customer service. His work is impeccable. I purchased a five-year roof and it has been on my RV and lasting for the last eight years. I don’t use anyone but him for my Roof, his prices are really fair and a lot of times lower than the other people I’ve checked into give him a shot because you won’t be sorry.

Had Ron do a 20 year seal on my 2022 Sunseeker as I had a leak at the corner of the top cap and the side rail where it drains off to the spout. The factory sealant had failed after only a few years even after storing my rig inside. Ron is super knowledgeable and is a hard worker. He fit me in his schedule and completed the job on time. The reviews and comments are accurate he’s a guy who knows what he’s doing and gets it done! In this day and age that’s are rare thing. In hindsight I wish I would’ve brought my rig to him when I first got it a couple years ago and had him seal it then. The small leak would’ve never happened. Anyway i highly recommend securing your investment sooner than later and as a rookie Rv owner I’ve been educated going forward. Thanks again Ron for your services and being a pro.

I just used the “forever extra leveling lap sealant” and all I can say is, WOW!! This stuff is magical! It comes out of the tube with ease and has tremendous coverage. I called the shop to ask some questions and Ron seemed genuinely concerned and interested in what I was asking. He recommended 4 tubes and that was just what I needed. THANKS RON!! Before and after photos.

I have several experiences with Ron, the RV Roofman. First, I had an older trailer (2000 Layton) that had roof damage that AAA insurance would not pay to repair as Ron had suggested. Despite Ron advising that the roof needed replacement, they would only authorize $750 for a "patch". Ron did the best he could with the money paid by AAA to use his product to seal that trailer. I dropped AAA, other than towing after that interaction with them. Now, I have a 2020 344 GK Solitude that we got new in July of 2020. By late 2021, we had air intrusion and lifting of the roof membrane at the front cap. Not wanting to deal with the runaround of the manufacturer claiming that was "normal", we had the membrane removed and a "Direct to Deck Forever Roof" applied by Ron at our own expense. It was worth the expense to have the peace of mind to know that our roof would not leak, causing damage not to be seen for years. Also that all of the roof penetrations and caps sealed with Forever Lap Sealants, so that an "inspection every 90 days" of the Dicor was no longer needed. (I pressure wash and inspect the roof once per year and have had zero issues since having the Direct-to-deck roof). Last year, I noticed that the membrane had failed above the refrigerator, which is in a slideout on our RV. I had Ron inspect it. There wasn't damage to the roof of the slide from water, since the slides are in most of the time, but the heat that had built up above the refrigerator by exhausting through the side, had caused the membrane to be cracked and compromised. Since we had already dealt with the heat issue by adding more fans, Ron advised that we should have our slide-out membrane coated, as opposed to doing Direct-to-deck. This met our needs and Ron explained that this was a cost effective solution since the slide-out rooms do not see the elements as much as the main roof. He could have easily tried to upsell us but didn't. I have had several other times where I sought advise from Ron on how to proceed with repair on RVs owned by friends by both phone call and text. He has always been very responsive. He has given options that included immediate intervention to avoid more damage, options of solutions for DIY repair to "encapsulate" The damage, how to remove/repair the issue ourselves, to send photos to him to have a clearer idea of how to advise us all the way to bringing the unit to the shop in Elk Grove so that he can advise us how to proceed ourselves and/or how and what he would do for the particular unit. Before trusting Ron with our RVs, I followed his Tik-tok and Facebook pages to see his products and installation practices being explained in a clear and understandable way, as well as why his Forever products are superior to other commercially and historically available products.

Ron is amazing at his craft. He is very great at communicating and seeing potential issues before they become issues. I was worried at first getting mine coated because I’ve always looked at coating as a band aid or just something that is sloppy. But I didn’t trust my newer grand design roof and they don’t stand by there warranties. They also like to find a reason why you are the problem. Not does his coating cure great it feels great to. You can feel it and immediately know your set! And also I trust him much more then the corporate companies you buy them from with there “warranties”. He seems like the type that is no bs and will help you when you need and stands by his product. I’m a hard one to please and he has done it for me. Thanks again Ron and team your the man.
