Good experience at Elk Grove dodge ram The only think that I didn’t give 5 stars is that when I test drove the truck. It was dirty I was told that they can’t wash them until purchase is maid. Then you see the paint defects which I found one decent size scratch they did addressed and I had to take it in the next day for repair. Not the end of the world. But another 4 hrs of waste time waiting. Overall good experience with the service provided.

Mice chewed up wiring in the engine. Worst time of year considering the holidays. I took my car in to Elk Grove Dodge for diagnostic check and repairs. Staff was friendly and professional. Thank you so much Lincoln Lee and mechanics for all the work you do. Meet Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone!!

I dropped off my Jeep at Elk Grove Dodge Service department on December 12th at 12.30pm for an engine overheating diagnostic. The service rep Diego Fonseca did not get back to me on the diagnosis until December 16th. During this call I asked him for an approximate timeframe to fix the issues, as I needed to find an alternative means of transportation. He said he would need to order parts and would call me back immediately to let me know the timeframe. I never heard back from Diego! I sent him a message on December 23th, but did not hear back. I left him a voice message on December 24th and still have not heard back.

Brandon Barroga gave exemplary service and a down to earth attitude to go with it. We didn't just discuss business; we discussed personal. Which bring the rapport to another level between customer and business. The exact kind of service i expect out of any company!

Ordered a pickup. Took longer than expected but it eventually came. They stuck to there word on price even when the numbers were higher than quoted. The pickups are all overpriced anymore but that’s just how the world is not their fault.

My service advisor, Big Red, was outstanding. All of the staff were friendly also. I am satisfied with the work the technician performed on my jeep jl.

The staff has been consistently rude. My service advisor was changed twice without my consultation. The advisors communicated with each other about me in my presence, as if I were not there. The gentleman I ultimately worked with had a very poor attitude.

I scheduled a regular maintenance oil change, the service was over two hours which is a bit better than the previous one which took more than 4 hours. After the oil change and inspection I was told that my drive shaft and sway bar and links are bad and need replacement, my extended car warranty approved all repairs. I was told to come back in a couple of days to drop off the truck for repairs, I came two days after and was told that drive shaft needs to be ordered but rest of the parts are in stock, so they couldn't start the repairs, I waited for several weeks and had to keep messaging about parts arrival since i didn't receive any texts or calls unless I called or texted. When the drive shaft finally arrived I called in advance and asked if all parts are in stock I was told yes it's all ready, I arrived that same morning and was told that one of the parts was used for someone else so they had to order it, I took time off work and spend two hours on the road each time for nothing. When they finally received all parts I dropped off the truck and was told it may take day or two, it ended up more than a week because parts were wrong and they had to reorder them few more times. After more than a week again I kept messaging and calling about updates on my truck, I think if I didn't keep asking I wouldn't receive any information, the only time I'd receive updates is after my message first. Finally I get a call that my truck can be picked up however they could not install suspicion parts because they couldn't order the right parts for my suspension, so truck was in the shop for a week after drive shaft was already installed but technicians couldn't find the right parts and I was driving rental cars the entire time. This was very frustrating experience for me and my family, it cost me time and money, but more frustrating after I found those parts online myself within minutes, and alignment was totally messed up so I had to stop at the shop and get it fixed because steering wheel had to be slightly turned left to be able to drive straight. I have to say I'm patient enough and able to understand different circumstances, but this time I was very bad, there was lack of communication, lack of care, extra cost that was not planned, and unprofessional technicians that couldn't realize what parts my truck needs after the first inspection. This service was very poor and frustrating, I doubt that I can trust your service or recommend you to anyone.

Update: communication is STILL horrible. I brought my vehicle back for another check engine light issue. I dropped it off before 8am on a Saturday. Without saying anything, the service manager (different from before) said they’d call me by the end of the day with an update. They didn’t. It’s now Monday night and I still have not heard from anyone and have no idea how long my vehicle will be there. Totally unacceptable. I will not use this dealer again. Original review: Horrible communication! Our vehicle had the check engine light come on so I asked them to diagnose the problem. I specifically asked if the light needed to be on or if the error codes/cause were stored because we didn’t want to have to leave the vehicle for a long time to diagnose. I was told it was no problem and that the light did not need to be on. Well, the day came and went and nobody contacted us to let us know that we would not get the vehicle back. In fact, it was at the dealer for over two weeks and I practically had to beg to get a single update!! Kudos to the technicians for working hard on our vehicle and thanks to Chrysler for having just extended the warranty on our high voltage battery (which was the problem), but shame on our service manager for not communicating well (not answering our texts, not giving us regular updates after repeatedly asking for them, not washing our car when it was sitting in their dusty lot for >2 weeks, etc.).

Came in with an on again off again dead battery issue in my Ram with 21,000 miles on it. (there is never anything left on in the truck, or doors left open) This has been a problem with several of the Ram trucks in our fleet. They had the truck a day and a half, charged the battery, and said everything was fine. The next day I parked the truck at the airport for a business trip, three days later when I returned at 11:50pm the battery was so dead the doors wouldn't unlock. Try getting a jumpstart at midnight on a Thursday in the airport long term parking lot. I'll try another dealership in the area and maybe they'll do a better job.

Absolutely horrendous customer service. This will probably turn into a bit of a tyrade. Cliff notes of experience at very end, so skip to there if you want those instead. My truck went in for an emission problem and was quickly diagnosed. Unfortunately the repair tech had a family emergency, hope everything resolved positively, and my designated service rep went on vacation. So all work on my truck came to a complete standstill. Its obvious that there is no system in place to make sure customers needs are still met if the designated people aren't at work. Once the parts were scheduled to be received by the dealership, a week later, I had to call multiple times and was bounced around to multiple people trying to get any info about progress on my repair. Twice I was told I'd receive a call back with an update but never did. I was finally able to get in contact with a Service Manager, who was actually incredibly helpful and sincere. He said he would "look into it" and call me back. He followed through with this and moved my truck to the top of the work orders, of which was #3 somehow at the time after a week and a half at the dealer. I got my truck back and within a day, the check engine light came on. I get it, not everything can be diagnosed easily with the new complicated Diesel emission systems. So back to the dealer and my same service rep. Per "Big Red" I need a new catalytic converter and fuel injector. So since he "felt bad" about my previous experience of round 1, yet he promptly requested I give him "all 10's if you get a customer service survey" for his non existent customer service I received, he tried to make it seem like he moved mountains for me and "spent hours on the phone with Stellantis, and convinced his parts guy to lower the price." So after the repair, which was done expediently, I picked up my truck and the paperwork stated I had a DEF injector replaced and not a fuel injector. When I asked him about it, he said the paperwork was a mistake and it was definitely a fuel injector that was replaced. When I asked what cylinder, he of course said he did not know but "will call me first thing tomorrow morning." Well two days later, and still no call, I call them and got a hold of another service manager. He as well was knowledgable and gave me straight answers. It was definitely a DEF injector that was replaced and not a fuel injector. Thanks for nothing Big Red. Overall experience, mechanics do good work and the service managers are who you need to deal with if you end up with "Big Red" as your service rep. He is either ignorant or just doesn't care. Also there's it appears no process is in place for continuity of timely service if those assigned to your repair end up leaving on vacation or sick.

Big Red was great, very welcoming and accommodating! Was able to help me out with some service coupons as well so that the oil change and rotation wasn't an arm and a leg! Great experience overall.

I brought my Dodge Durango for the 120,000-mile recommended maintenance, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. My service advisor, Bryan (“Big Red”), walked me through three different package options, clearly explaining what each included, why they might be chosen, and even offered a thoughtful recommendation based on my future plans for the vehicle. During the inspection, they discovered a cracked radiator. I was contacted right away, given a clear explanation of my options, and provided a transparent quote with no surprises and no pressure. The entire process felt upfront and professional. What stood out most was how helpful and informative Bryan was throughout. He made everything easy to understand and kept me updated along the way. On top of that, he shared a personal story about recently adopting three kittens after noticing a cat sticker on my car, which made the whole interaction warm, welcoming, and personable. Elk Grove Dodge delivered not only excellent service but also a great customer experience. I left feeling confident in the work done and very well taken care of.

Took my brand new 2025 ram 1500 in for first maintenance oil change. Drove my truck off the lot to heart engine gasping for air. When I got to where I was going I popped the hood to see my air filter compartment wasn’t put back. I took care of it myself the dealership wanted a review so I explained what happened. I received a call a couple days later. They said the manager wanted them to give me a call to apologize and ask what happened. He said he would let his manager know and I would receive another call a couple days later. Never heard back on the situation

Well I went through sales and service and had a great experience through both. Aaron my salesman was nice, knowledge, and listened to everything I was looking for, his sales manager Nate worked hard to get the most for my trade in and price of the vehicle. Stephen islm finance walked me through all the options and got me a great rate for my purchase and additional items I was looking for. Then when I had to bring it to service for due bill items and one item that wasn't covered under warranty Brandon took care of everything. He cared about my time, what was right for me as a customer and making sure everything was done right. Great experience overall.

Took my truck in for its first service. Not the best experience. Gave 2 stars because the staff were friendly. Otherwise, this would be a 1-starr experience. Started off my pre-scheduled maintenance appointment being told they did not have the parts to address my safety recall, and that the truck needed software updates that would take multiple hours. Since no one called me ahead of my appointment to let me know, I hadn't planned for a multi-hour visit. I opted for the scheduled maintenance- oil change and rotation. After I left the dealership, I received a call informing me that they put the wrong oil in my truck and I needed to come back. I did. They changed the oil again, and said the mistake happened because the factory put the wrong oil cap on my engine. They ordered a new one and offered to call when the part arrived, within about two weeks. That was a month ago and I still haven't heard from the dealership that my part is in, or to reschedule for my safety recall and software updates.

Brandon at Elk Grove Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram provided excellent service during my routine maintenance visit. He was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly without making me feel pressured into unnecessary services. The whole process was smooth and efficient. I really appreciate the great customer service and will definitely come back for future maintenance. Thank you, Brandon!
