Overpriced. They charge $150 for the car's inspection (required by MD) and if the inspection fails another $75. Other shops charge $90 and if the inspection fails they either don't have an extra charge or $45. Great customer service until they have the car is in the shop then their attitude is negative.

Joe was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I didn’t have an appointment and stopped to see if he could help assess a screw in my tire. He willingly looked at the tire right away, and made sure all of my other tires were at the correct pressure. I was so thankful he squeezed me in right on the spot. Highly recommend this place!

Horrible customer service. I spoke with the guy that works on the cars (possible owner) to schedule a tire replacement and alignment. Got there at the scheduled time, called since no one was at the window. Spoke with him about where to drop off, confirmed that it would take 1.5 -2 hours as he said over the weekend when I made the appointment. He confirmed that time frame but was very rude then told me he had alot to do. He said when do i want it back. I mentioned that if it was going to take about 2 hours around 10 would be fine. He was raising his voice and was very rude, he then hung up on me while I was at the bay window. I told the woman at the window (she was there while this was happening)that he had just hung up on me. He then came out yelling at me, told me I was taking too much of his time (I literally was trying to drop off my vehicle to get stuff done and get the instructions on how to do so and when it would be done) and he told me to go to Good Year (we had spoken about Good Year when I called about prices and he was bad mouthing them on the phone) that he wasn't going to do my job. He didn't want to do it. I was so confused as to why this was happening and why he was treating me like this, as I had not been rude, disrespectful or loud. I did infact go to Good Year and they were super helpful even with out an appointment. They were very kind and when I mentioned what happened there was someone in there that had a horrible experience at tire network also, as well as a man that delivered to them in the past and spoke on how horribly he was treated.

The Tire Network is the best.! I needed to change my tags over to Maryland. I had my car inspected in PA a few months before and figured I wouldn't need major repairs. I took my car to Goodyear, and they told me I need new routers and it would cost me $300. They were extremely pushy about me making the repairs. As a female I often feel like the auto industry as a whole tries to take advantage of me so wanted a second opinion. When I called the Tire Network I explained my situation to the owner, Joe. He too agreed that something sounded fishy and to bring my car in. He reinspect it for free because he didn't want me to have to pay twice for the same service. Upon inspection he found that I did not need need router and in fact my brakes and router look practically new!! He explained every step of the inspection what the results meant, and what repairs I might need in the future. Joe even met me at my work and picked up and dropped off my car. The people at Tire Network are honest hardworking people and truly care about their customers. I will never go back to Goodyear!

Joe and his family at The Tire Network are amazing. My car decided to not start as I was attempting to leave the Starbucks in my neighborhood and head to work. Called Joe and he walked me through a few things to try and get the car started. We couldn't get it to turn over so he asked me where I was and said he would be there shortly. He arrived and was able to get it started. This wasn't just a simple jump start either. I was able to drive it to his shop to get the repair done. It ended up needing a new starter, but I also told Joe that I needed an oil change and rear brakes. Once at the shop he offered to drive me to my office as well. The car was complete the same day. Joe coming out and getting my car to start saved me a large towing cost. Incredible customer service. Thanks again, you guys are awesome.

This place is a complete waste of time and money. Save yourself the hassle and find another place, especially if you are a female and/or needing a vehicle inspection. I honestly don't know how they are an authorized inspection station and should absolutely be reported. I scheduled an appointment for an inspection as I'd recently moved from out of state. I showed up at the scheduled time and they had no record of my appointment. This is when I should have walked away, but they said they could get me in and that it would be 2.5 - 3 hours so I made the unfortunate decision to proceed. EIGHT hours and several phone calls later I am standing outside of their window because they had not called that my vehicle was finished and it was near their closing time. The vehicle did not pass inspection, which was ok because it's an older model and I understand Maryland has a very stringent standard for registering out of state vehicles. What was not ok was the excessive amount of repairs that were mansplained to me as though I am just an ignorant female that will believe and pay for anything I am told. I was promised an estimate for the repairs that were allegedly necessary would be sent to me the following Monday and SURPRISE, over a month later and I still have not received an estimate. I went to a more reputable shop where again, my vehicle failed inspection, however the repairs were fair and legitimate and within 4 hours they had my vehicle repaired and inspection passed. Save yourself and go elsewhere to begin with!

AAA messed up my car and couldn't get the spare out after a flat. I called The Tire Network at 4 pm on a Saturday and the owner drove in to help me (they were closed for the day!). He fixed my flat for a reasonable fee and helped me figure out how to deal with AAA. Thank you!!!

This is a crooked company and these people are not trust worthy. I had a just discovered a piece if metal is my tire causing ut to leak right in the middle of a job. I called around quickly to find out prices and availability. He quoted me $200 for the tire , a bit high but not unreasonable, and that he could have me out the door in 30 minutes. I stopped what i was doing and headed over. Just as i arrive my tire went completely flat. I walked into the shop only to be told rudely to stay outside and wait. After 10 minutes I call in to see if I can get someone to help me. They finally do and they come back with the paper work the total was $260. I asked if he would price Mach good year which was only 205. He laughed and told me to take it to them. I asked if he was able to do it right away as I was working .. he told me he would do it in a few hours..This is a crooked company and these people are not trust worthy. They lie on the phone to get you in then give you differnet pricing when u get their

Don’t take your car over there if you are looking for a diagnostic check or to replace a door handle. Owner wanted to charge me $400 to replace 1 door handle (old Toyota Sienna 2011) and on top of that ordered the part before discussing with me the cost or if I wanted to go ahead with the transaction. After being informed about the cost, I obviously didn’t want to proceed with the transaction and politely tried to tell the owner that he should have discussed prices with me before ordering parts. Sadly, owner got defensive and just told me to pick up the car and pay for diagnostics. I arrived to pick up my car and was surprised with a bill for $230 dollars. Just to look at the car… save your dollars and shop around. I’m giving 3 starts because i purchased brand new tires from them and one of them got a huge hole. Owner was able to give me a new tire for half of the original price and the job was done fast and service was effective. My only suggestion for the owner is to improve his communication with clients.

I’d like to share a wonderful experience that I had at Tire Network. Recently, my dashboard lights were on and Joe checked and repaired them in a short amount of time. I’ve been using Tire Network for years. They performed my vehicle’s state inspection and have fixed numerous other things for me. I highly recommend this family business. Above all, Joe has kept my car in tip top shape since 2005.

I have been bringing my car into Joe and his son for years and will continue to do so for years to come. They regularly go above and beyond, are honest, take time to explain what is going on, and answer all of our questions. (My curious kids have a LOT of questions!) They are a locally owned business and an important community asset in many ways. (More on that below). They are great communicators. I have messaged Joe on the weekend and he wrote back quickly. Joe also calls with estimates and tell me my options before doing the work (i.e. This is broken. Do you want to buy a new or used part to replace this? Here are the prices.). When I was stranded at work at the end of the day (because the uber I had scheduled never came) they stayed open super late to make sure I could pick up my car because I needed it the next day. A few times I thought the price he quoted me was high, so I shopped around. It was the same price the other three places in Baltimore and Glen Burnie were also charging. It turns out cars are expensive to maintain. When I told him I wanted to sell my car, Joe taught me all the steps I need to follow to not only make sure I follow the steps for the MVA, but do it safely. He also gave be great advice about pricing and how to not fall for scammers who are out there. He is like an uncle or cousin in the family who knows all this stuff and is happy to help. Funfact Joe is a volunteer fire fighter and has helped save neighbors lives. The Tire Network is also a drop off point for expired fire extinguishers (in case you have checked yours and are wondering what to do with it now that you know it is expired).

Since you want to comment on my review and LIE ... the Maryland State Inspector removed two of the items you said failed inspection. He passed two of the items you failed. Can I state this any other way so you can understand? So don't LIE. I did not expect the vehicle to not have any problems, I just didn't expect an overpriced inspection failing items that should have passed. So, buyer BEWARE unless you want an overpriced inspection that fails items a Maryland State Inspector passed. AND BEWARE if you don't want to be scammed with parts priced well above OEM. Where ya getting those parts from? I purchased this car for my college student. And if you think 200K is high mileage on a 20 year old Honda, then you're not a very good mechanic. I don't expect the car to last forever. Nothing does. What I dislike is the predatory nature of vehicle inspections. I have a problem with businesses preying on people who are least able to fight back. The average used car purchaser may not be in a position to pay outrageous pricing as I experienced at The Tire Network. Nor would they have the luxury of shopping for a reputable and reasonably priced mechanic. And they may not have the time to meet a Maryland State Inspector at the shop to have the inspection REVISED (read changing failed items to PASSED). Nor would they have funds to pay for a new inspection because you're "too busy" to get a re-inspection scheduled. A system that was enacted to protect the consumer, the very consumer most in need of protection, is ultimately harmful with businesses like yours in the marketplace. It's shameful.

The Tire Network is without a doubt the highest quality automotive center that I have ever used and I have been coming here for over 20 years. They are honest, trustworthy, and dedicated to making sure that whatever needs fixing actually needs to fixed, is fixed right, and at a fair price. The best interests of their customers is their top priority.

We recently bought a used car and took it to The Tire Network for a Maryland State Inspection. The excellent service included a thorough and honest assessment of our vehicle. The inspection was done in a timely manner and the price given was a reasonable price for the repairs and services. I highly recommend The Tire Network.

Worst inspection experience ever!! They wanted to charge me over $3500 for parts and $1000 labor to do the work. I had to return with a state inspector to have items removed from the inspection. The necessary parts were less than $200 from the Honda dealer for the work that was ultimately needed. The state inspector did not agree with their failure of the tires but left it alone since I told him I was buying new tires anyway. The tires were crap, that much was right. I bought tires from a competitor for maybe $40 less than the total tire price on their estimate. I was able to have the rest of the work done for $700 parts and labor at a reputable shop, my new mechanic. I left the alignment and body work (fish plating the unibody) for them to do. That was about $700 of work. I couldn't find anybody for the body work and I left the alignment for them because if they did it then I wouldn't have to pay a re-inspection fee for the rest of the work. This guy would not give me a re-inspection fee cost no matter how many times I asked, and after paying $225 for a small SUV initial inspection I wanted to get my money's worth. Well, that was not to be, I called on October 17 to schedule the work and was told it would be Nov 7 before they could get to me. Well after my tags expire at the end of October. I wanted to give this guy the benefit of the doubt but I can't. I just don't believe it will take 3 weeks before he can get to my car. Yep, they are as shady as I thought. Buyer BEWARE!

Joe is very nice, and he seems to do good work. However, he is really over-priced. For example, my wife took her car in for basic services. The charges were as follows: Oil change: 6qts of oil=$119.34 (could buy Mobil 1 retail at Costco for $39), Labor to change the oil and filter 1 HOUR at $175 (I change the oil on my boat's twin diesels (3.5 gallons each) and the 2 filters on each in that amount of time) . She was also charged an hour of labor to change the engine air and cabin air filters (15 min job, I have done this myself). But most egregious was another hour of labor to reset the maintenance light!

Super expensive! They charged me $72 just to fix my tire, which is crazy. I also had to wait about 30 minutes just for them to change it. I never come back, and I don't recommend this place at all.

I went to the tire network for a state inspection and i’m so happy with my experience. The inspection did take some time but they were very detailed. I worked with Joe throughout the process. He was amazing! He was so genuine and pleasant. I failed the inspection the first time around and he gave me an estimate of how much it would cost to fix everything to pass. I decided to go out for a second opinion and the price for the repairs were relatively the same. I ended up going back to Joe to get it fixed and he worked with me to ensure that I would be able to pass the inspection - which i did. Overall, I would recommend them as I had a 10/10 experience. If you do go ask for Joe (he knows his stuff).
