We had the best stay here! After a long night of driving it was nice to come into the apartment to welcome letters and snacks! We felt completely safe the entire time and enjoyed waking up to the view of lake Monona every morning. The hosts were more than accommodating, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was everything we needed and more. Being someone who was not prepared for what the WI cold could bring, my car battery had died, and they were so kind to help us out with jump/portable battery to charge ours up! We would recommend to anyone and will definitely be staying here again if we ever find ourselves back in the Madison area!★★★★★ 11 months ago

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in the middle of it all, so close to the lake and was so beautifully thought out and planned. It was a soft place to land and it held me well while I was in Madison. The social nights were a wonderful way to get to see and experience Madison in ways I otherwise would not have. Our daughter stayed for the fall semester, as she was finishing up her degree in Madison. We had a wonderful experience. Julia, Afton and crew were helpful and highly responsive. If we reached out they always responded in less than 24 hours. The unit was completely furnished, to include linens, hangers, plates, etc. It was nice to not have to bring those things from home. It was move in ready and quite charming. It is a bit far from campus, however we were able to rent a parking space in a secured lot for an additional fee. It is also a bit more expensive than other properties, however with them providing everything and not paying for any utilities to include the Roku TV and premier television services, it was well worth it. We didn’t have to hassle with a full year lease and trying to find subletters. It was also nice for my daughter to be able to appreciate and explore other parts of Madison, not just State Street. 😂 Also, if you have a 529 education savings account you can use that to pay for rent, I believe it is up to $6.000 per semester. I recently spent three months living at the Wilson whilst working in Madison. I would thoroughly recommend it as a place to stay. It is in a wonderful location and my apartment was extremely well maintained. The team were always responsive to any requests although there were no problems at all during my stay. I would return without hesitation and if you are seeking somewhere to stay in Madison that is well equipped, in a great location and reasonably priced then the Wilson is the place to stay.
