Too expensive After waiting 10 minutes while the worker talk to his wife he was finally able to attend me. Wanted to charge me $160 just to swap a BOLT on muffler. All he had to do was take 4 bolts off to replace the muffler with a muffler I was providing no welding or anything else required. $160 to remove 4 bolts. I can only imagine how expensive it would be if there were material and welding involved.

Went to a variety of local exhaust shops. I had an exhaust leak & the man was very honest with me. I appreciate his great quality work. Even told me whenever I want to make my car louder , to let him know. Went at a perfect time (around 3:30 pm -3:45 pm) but luckily did not have people ahead of me. I always see this muffler shop full so I got lucky today. Will go again from now on! Thank you so much, highly recommended! A+++ Service at a good price !

I’m beyond grateful with Three Stars Mufflers in Brownsville, Texas. On my FitQuest70 journey from Sacramento to Texas, I came to watch the Starship launch #9 and barely made it here. After Rick’s Auto Shop diagnosed my Scion xB he sent me here to Three Star Muffler. They confirmed the exhaust was fine but the converter was clogged, then offered me clear options. Using an old-school method, they cut the muffler to test airflow, and after a quick drive to verify my Toaster was running smoothly, I gave them the green light to replace the converter. In less than 1 hour my car’s now running great! Three Stars delivered a five-star experience with honest, fast work that’s way cheaper than California. Tip for travelers from California to Texas: stick to premium gas from quality stations to avoid clogs if you can - that converter was only 1 yrs old but from a questionable shop in Sacramento. Watching the shops here directly is such a different experience than California and much appreciated.

Don’t let the name fool you, this is definitely a five star muffler shop! We rolled in 1/2 hour before closing on a Friday. We were seen right away, given recommendations and the work was done immediately at a fair price to put us back on the road. We are from out of country on a long distance road trip so we are very thankful.
