My first time experience was not so great . The wait was awful . When I first came it was only two customers ahead . I went in for a one tire replacement . It took almost 4 hours. They weren’t short staffed . Maybe 7-9 people working . After waiting a long period of time . I still paid regular price . I wouldn’t recommend going back . The customer service was good . But kept getting a run around every time I asked about how long it would take to just change one tire . Finally after one worker told me the tire wasn’t in stocked . I had to wait another 45 minutes until it arrived

I been dealing with tire city for over two years now but my last time going this past week , I feel like they played in my face . I got my car towed to them to see what the problem was & they said it was my battery so I accept the request for them to fix it, after fixing that I get a call saying some bout my transmission so I’m like if it wasnt the battery why did they make me pay for one knowing it was the transmission I just feel like they wanted money out of me cause my car still doing the same thing & feel like they just played me and just wanted some money. It’s never a problem bout money on my end cause ever since I move to Montgomery I always trusted them to work on my car .. a year ago I had them change my oil & somebody forgot to put my top back on after changing my oil & my whole front end of my car started a fire and I never complained I let them fixed on my car for months I just feel like I shouldn’t be needing not one part under my hood after one year of them replacing everything due to a fire one of they staffs caused to happen to my car.

I’ve used this shop for 11 years and after today I will not be back. Communication amongst staff is terrible. One manager will tell you one thing while the other does something else. With that being said, that non communication is going to cost my family and I almost $700. Better going to someone you trust that’s not in a shop. If you do decide to use this shop, it’ll be in your best interest to communicate with EVERYONE. Some catch amnesia and others use their to push over.

The only reason for this 1-star review is because of how my particular situation was handled. I was in an accident on March 6, 2024 and my car was totaled. Since the person who hit me did not have insurance, I needed an estimate for legal purposes. I called and asked if I could tow my car in and was told I could. My car got to the Atlanta Hwy location on March 19, 2024. After having the car a week or so, I called to check and see if they had done the estimate. I was told they had not gotten to it yet and would see if they could get to it soon. Over the next few months, the same thing occurred when I called to check and see if the estimate had been done. I even mentioned I would be willing to pay for an estimate, I just needed it done. I was offered apologies but told they would try to get to it, they were short staffed, they would see if they could email it to me, or would say someone would call me back. This never happened. The date is now July 2nd. I drove to the location but they were already closed. I searched the lot for my car. It was not there. So the following day, I went up to the location and told the guy at the counter about the situation. He was new and really didn’t know what was going on, which was pretty annoying. I asked him where my car was and he literally shrugged his shoulders, indicating that he had just started. He is searching the system and my car is nowhere in the record. Finally, he involves another team member and it was discovered that a TireCity team member emailed me an estimate on June 3, 2024. Let me point out that up to this point, I had been told SEVERAL times people would get back to me and they never did so I did not know to look for an email. I’d also love to point out that I have had work done with them in the past and they have an automated text system that someone could have used to text me and let me know that an email was sent to me regarding an estimate. None of that happened. Because I “abandoned my car” as it was put, it was towed to Blake’s Towing Company in Millbrook, AL. Additionally, when I called Blake’s Towing Company, it was going to be somewhere around $360 for me to get the car back. I was very irritated with how this transpired because I feel they handled me wrongly. Had I been properly contacted about the estimate, I would have known to come get my car. They could had not accepted my car if they were busy or understaffed. Many other companies told me that and I understood. I was going to sell the car to Pull-A-Part but since TireCity allowed Blake’s Towing to get my car without contacting me, I went to Blake’s, got my things out of the car, and signed the title over to Blake’s. This was likely the worst experience at a company I have had to date. I am also filing a complaint with the BBB because it was very unprofessional.

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST BLACK WOMEN❗️I was Reffered here on April 26, 2024 from Firestone for a wheel bearing service . When I walked in I told Anna whom works behind the front desk, that I was sent there from Firestone for a wheel bearing replacement due to Firestone’s machine not working. She said that they would get me right in. She then asked was I fine w the diagnostic so they could be sure that was the issue. I told her that I had just gotten my car off the rack at Firestone and paid money. So , no I was fine. She then said that their serves were free and it even included a video. I was extremely shocked to hear this but ageeed to do it just bc it was free and I thought cool I get to even see a video… While waiting for my Vehicle to be serviced I was then approached by Matt, whom said that he heard a noise when test driving my car and he wanted to see exactly what is was. He also said when driving it , it seemed like it was locking up and that was a safety concern. He then explained it was jerking from side to side when driving it. I told him I never noticed the jerking but I know it stumbles when attempting to stop. He said yes it was the same he heard. I told him I had that issue for a while and got my CVC axils replaced but I still can hear it. He said that it seemed like a safety concern and that I needed to allow them to dig a little further. I agreed bc I wanted to know when it was and I thought why not THIS IS FREE. He came back maybe 2 hours later saying they needed to go in and flush everything to see what was stopping it from flowing . He asked me to come outside to take a look at the tire not getting fluid to it when stopping on breaks. ( now let me tell y’all this , I DONT KNOW Anything ABOUT CARS SO YOU CAN literally LIE ABOUT WHAT IS WHAT) He then left for several hours and returned stating that my ABS needed to be replaced and if I tried to drive my car I could die. I was like wait what omg I been driving it all this time my goodness!! He then said it would’ve been best to leave my car with them. I explained that I couldn’t do that due to having to get my daughter from School and that being my only car. He said the only way to fix it would cost about $4,000. I was in totally shock! I only came here for a wheel bearing issue and now I’m here stuck w a $4000 dollar issue. This was insane. I immediately asked for my keys so I could take my car and park it .He then said NO NO , if you drive it you will die and your child. I was like off omg !! ( Rebuking him and his harsh words). Around this time I had been there for about 7 hours . I then had to leave to catch a ride to get my daughter from school. Finally, I made it back and asked Anna for my keys. I explained that I would prefer to not leave my car there until May 14-18 for the ABS issue. She then said we don’t think you should drive it we have payment plans. I told her money wasn’t the problem, I was in the process of getting another vehicle so I could take my time and fix everything with this one. She said NO DONT BUY ANOTHER CAR. ( This was my plan since my birthday of last year) so I told her I’m already in the process of getting another one. She then said ok. Let me get you your invoice, it’s going to be $267.57. I said wait what?!!!! I thought you said the inspection would be free. The man behind her then said we did a extended inspection. I was EXTREMELY mad at this point and just wanted to go. This isn’t half of what I’ve been through I called today to request a refund due to finding out what they did to my car HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY MAIN ISSUE OR THE NOISE I was treated poorly, and disrespected , I was even belittled. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! I will be contacting the BBB, MONTGOMERY CIVIL RIGHTS COMMISSION AND MORE.
